I could watch Delvene giggle all day...
My God takes me back as a kid..... used to love watching him and next day talking and laughing at school with his jokes. Good old Australia then .... was great
Bloody ripper mate . True Aussie humour at it's finest .
lovely way to show off lovely sweater puppies, in good taste you know!
Ahhh Delvene. So bloody gorgeous.
Her name is Delvene Delaney.
Thanks for the upload. :) Brings back memories of when Australia was an awesome place to live. A great time to grow up. And fun! And my oh my how we were spoilt with classy intelligent charming beauties in the 70s like Delvene.
Holy fook ...now thats great telly..what a pair.
And looks like no bottoms too. 🙂
Imagine trying to make this today with those pin-ups on the wall. I suppose we can be thankful for some things.
Delvene was a beautiful person inside and out, and though she had the looks she never upstaged anyone, I think she was just grateful for the gig
Funny how Delvene ended up on Sale Of The Century. Classic.
Really enjoy watching Paul Hogan....doing anything . That accent is so awesome 😍
Looks and personality . Beauty and funny rare combination.
Stroppy John's a lucky buck, Del was a real dish and probably still bearing up .. with a good stropping
She was the dream of many a young Australian teenage boy.
That saw cut beef made my mouth water.
Ah, just came back from the cinema and relaxing with Hoges. Great.
Love the show in my younger years hoges strop and the lovely miss delvien
Delvene Delaney. Bloody hot as hell.
A wag on another Hoges blog suggested that Pauline Hansen stole Delvines character.
I have seen this one so many times but only now I noticed Hogey was in the second sketch too!!!!!! hahaha
Who could when Del was just wearing only that dress and nothing else. 🙂
Delvene was a real stunner back then!
folkfingerstylefreddy There was more than a few stunna’s around back then, Karen Pini, Lynda Stoner, the girls on Sale of the Century.
SILL IS
STILL IS
I can't believe he forgot to put rosella sauce on his sandwich...😂🤣😂
I use to watch that show because of her.
Delvene Delaney has a talent and charm which many people adore (even today), but Karen Pini was every schoolboy's dream 40 years ago.
Ironically she DID become the next Victoria Nicolls...
That's why it was funny when Hoges looked at the camera :)
No it's not ironic. It was planned as Del was already scheduled to replace her. The tv audience just didn't know yet.
It's like watching Crocodile Dundee and Wayne's world at once !
With a little bit of Thames Television The Benny Hill Show.
ah you couldnt have stuff like that up these days at home :O
Product placement was brilliant
You can tell you're getting old when you can remember when 1/ You lusted after Delvene 2/ You remember the Big M Girls (calendars & TV ads) & lusted after them as well 3/ You know all the products they talk about & remember the old packaging! Jeez what happened to all that time & can I go back there please!!!!
You forgot the chicko rolls posters at the fish n chip shop. 😉
@@TIME_LORDS Well picked up mate. Old age catching up or what? lol
You can tell you're getting old when you can clearly remember something you did or said 40 years ago, but not what happened yesterday.
@@RoughJustice2k18 Shit that sounds just like me!
I can remember doing all 3. I feel sad for the young people of today, IDGAF what anyone says, times were better back then.
Aren’t they a lovely pair? The very definition I would say.
How many will confess to trying to see through Delvenes dress?
She was a great Comedienne, along with the obvious.
It was the advert for Berlie or Gossard I was waiting for.
Great to have a laugh without a care.
Delvene is heavenly wow ive been in love with her forever. 1 in a trillion
Delvene is are very beautiful
Nice etchings
Bril!. Nuff said!. 🤣
Spunky girl! 💕👍
Aussie men still wear those shorts.
aussie classic
Giggling and jiggling,,,,, damn she filled that dress out so fine 🙂 😍
I always remembered when the "ink" came out and you could see them screw up their noses at the smell lmao. Still funny now.
I used to vomit when I heard Mrs Marsh's voice.
A bachelor pad with centerfolds posted on the wall.
Paul Leckner
Centrefolds don't even exist anymore- sad😕
@@normturner4849 They did once upon a time
@@normturner4849 They did once upon a time.
Paul Leckner Well yeah, that’s what I said.
I’m over 50- I’ve had my share of Playboys & Penthouses as a teen. 😈
@@normturner4849 If you still had them, they would be worth a bundle!!
Sorry but I lost it at "It really gets in". Very funny! And as you can see... so did Hoges and Delvene. If you're old enough you'll know why.
It's Dele on your tele
Strop was John Cornell. John Cornell was Paul Hogans manager, and Delvene Delaneys wife
Delvene was John's wife. Lol
I think you mean John was Delvene's husband.
But she went on to sale of the century, so it worked out for her.
Kath Day...
She was hot
Kath Day-Night's mother
2:52; WTF! No sauce on that sandwich?
Be another Victoria Nicholls.
Well in reality Delvine did replace Victoria on the Sale of the Century
Was there an Australian version. I know we had one in the UK 🇬🇧
@@Robert_Manners yes there was
Delvine Delaney who was in this particular skit, was a hostess on the show for 4 years
They lost it towards the end :)
Delvene is so sexy

Australia was very much a tit-based economy in 1981. I'd completely forgotten about that aspect of the culture.
At 2:38 f...f...f. Fuc@
Interesting to see modern technology ain’t so fu..k-n- modern hummm , electric chainsaw . Did you know the first car to break the 100 klm land speed record was an electric car . Or that the first electric car achieved a range of 137 Klm in the 1920’s🤔 But don’t tell anyone.
she looks like margot robbie. Is it her mum?
No. Delvene has two grown daughters though...and she's a grandmother!
TEN TIMES hotter than robbie
Nice shrimps on the Barbie.
Damm fine ..pity that was 1979 ..wonder if they still look like that 😅
