    The first cook on the Silverbac by ‪@GrillaGrills‬ is in the books. I taught my daughter how to cook ribs and they came out great. I'm impressed with how well the Silverbac worked. It performed flawlessly and produced amazing ribs! I seasoned the ribs with Competition Pig Shake from ‪@unclestevesshake‬ and the flavor was great! I'll definitely be trying more of their stuff in the future. I cooked the ribs at 275 degrees for about 3 1/2 hours. They were very tender. If you like them with a bit more chew, I would cook for three hours. I had a great time showing my daughter how to get it done and start her adventure in BBQ. We had a great time and I can't thank her enough for agreeing to do this video with me.

    how's the smoke flavor, compared to a offset?

    • @BKCCooks
      @BKCCooks  Год назад +2

      I got great smoke flavor, but nothing compares to an offset. However, when you factor in ease of use and freeing up a ton of time, I’ll have a hard time firing up my offset and tending to it as opposed to pushing a button on my Grilla.

    Dang, that's a lot of smoke bleed from the lid. Does it only do that when getting up to temps? Ribs look fantastic though!

      It pushes like crazy as part of the start up process. Once it’s ready to go, I don’t have any issues.

    Do you have to keep it open first until blue smoke starts coming out ?

    • @BKCCooks
      @BKCCooks  10 месяцев назад

      No. Once it’s lit, I close the lid and I get clean smoke in short order.

    To avoid an explosion, you should do the start up with the lid open. It doesn't happen all the time but, better safe than sorry!
