Honestly Canik. Nils Jonasson just won the carry optics national championship with a friggin Canik. The gun is super underrated and they actually listen to the consumer market.
I’ve been running the DH3 in USPSA matches since February 23, putting about 1,000 rounds down range a month, first in CO now in LO. Overall, it’s a super reliable gun. It comes with a 12 lb and 14 lb springs and I’ve run all sorts of ammo from 115 gr to 147 gr factory and reloaded. This thing eats all. About halfway through the season, I dropped the competition kit from Sig Armorer in and I have had no issues. Solid competition gun and a bargain at the price.
I pick my CZ P10-F over a Glock 17/34 any day. Going from stock CZ made the design and trigger better for less money from the start. And you save a lot because there is no need to upgrade anything really.
I just bought the DH3 about 2 months ago. It shoots great man. It’s a Very accurate handgun, I shot over 1100rds so far without any problems. I would buy it again. 💯 I paid $1166 for it and that’s including tax🤘
I have a Gen4 17 (registered that way since I live in Commifornia-lite [Hawai’i]) with a Zev Orion G34 (RMR cut) slide built out. I shoot my CZ P-10F way better.
The Sig DH3 , being mechanically the same as the X5 Legion or my P320 Max , presumably shoots as well as any other heavy frame 9mm that’s competitive in Production or CO , not really low end feeling in my experience ! These days , I’d say a Canik Rival would be the top every level competition pistol for the $$ , almost good enough that you wouldn’t need to upgrade until you feel you need a heavier gun cause you’re shooting faster splits .
Glock fanboy here. I do not shoot competitively at all. I do have a semi-race pistol but, its not my thing. All that being said nothing shoots flatter than a $3-5K Staccato. It will hang with $8,9K race guns all day. Flatter shooting increases every needed prerequisite for getting better.
This is the video I've been waiting for! I am curious, are this your top picks? Or are their other brands and models you think we should consider in the hybrid gun category? I love the P320 but I am nervous about the ND's and police departments switching
Preventing NDs is entirely the job of the shooter so as long as you know how to handle weapons safely it's not a big deal. However, if you still like the P320 but are worried about causing an ND, pick up the M17/18 models that have a manual safety.
I am in the process of swapping all my fcu's to m17 FCU's. Just my preference for the manual safety. Never had an issue without it but also don't have issues with it however I am very comfortable with single action guns with manual safteys so it was at home for me personally
Looked at the X series Sig, trigger was terrible. Was the only one they had. The reset was not as engaging as I'd like. During reset, I want the trigger to push back against my finger a bit with a loud click at reset. This was nonexistent with the X series I looked at. Was not impressed with that sample.
Reminder to everyone current striker fired guns are for the most part 100% cocked, press the trigger and it drops the sear. Glocks have different triggers in that they are sitting around 30% cocked.
If you have a great gun you have no excuse, and if you don't improve you're 100% sure it's your fault. This makes progress faster. So training on worse gun is kinda pointless.
I laugh at how much people pay for polymer pews and especially the chinese red dots all about the same as $50 or $100 red dots, different paint job and branding people pay 5x for the same quality. Taurus G3 is the best budget pistol with upgradability for half of the $ of 1 Glock( who force workers to jag to continue working, disgusting Glock you're a traitor)Happy spending everyone. lol
Only taurus built for competition is the tx22. No other semi auto in their lineup comes close to even entry level comp gun and they have horrible triggers for the most part and I have a Taurus but facts are facts.
The Plant in Smyrna Georgia Jag's its workers? Glocks are trash...ect? What do you own? I would love to share some facts about your brand and your choice of optics/lights. I research 100% of everything I buy. I watch countless reviews. Talk to owners of said pistols- and shoot them. Yes, Holosun is made in China. I'm interested in knowing the brand you bought. The optic/light and not for a argument but, to show you your choices background, while demonizing everyone else. I00% civil. Share your set up friend. Thanks.
Doesn't the Taurus G3 have some issue with a short chamber leade or feed ramp geometry? I have a G3C and the leade seems to be slightly shorter than a gen5 Glock's leade in a marksman barrel. The G3C ramp geometry, from photos I've seen, is or was different than the G3C, with the G3C having less problems.

The SFX Rival starts at $629 too. Insane.
@5:55 LOVED the dolly zoom effect on the Staccato.

@@VeryFastRodi still loving that Cz?
Look out for the Canik. Seems like a very good value

Great video! I really want a DH3. Thanks for putting out this content.
Great video very informative
Gen 3 glock with the zev g34 length long slides they make are a great option as well but $500 for a slide is almost too much

Shadow 2??

Glock 34 with Timmy trigger and 3.5lbs connector 🎉
Good choices 🇺🇸
Can you thumbnail the changes made to the Glock 34? I know you said recoil system and trigger, but which ones?
Canik Rival!

Ive been wanting to get into competitions, whats your opinion on the canik mete sfx pro?

Try to get a +10% positive return spring. It changes the feel to exactly what you like.
*CANIK:*
It's what Glock meant by *"Perfection!"*
What does it mean to "shoot really good"? I would love to see some standards as to what is bad, good, very good, expert, etc.
Myles' videos are always good!
Can I get these in Cali?
The P320 was just added to the roster so yes, you can get that
P320 x5 legion is on the unconstitutional roster
Hey i was wondering if would glock 17 would be a hybrid or not?

U are literally the definition of the "poors" youtubers jokingly talk about. Not to mention the ton of ignorance...
You don’t have to justify your purchase to us…..if your happy stop trying to convince yourself.
