More likely that someone was in his pc looking for crypto wallets / bank info. It’s common for hackers to report CP as you don’t want to be anywhere near that. Look up the vTech hacking where the guy literally turned when he found similar stuff that wasn’t even being used for cp.

@markydubs416 well they cleared this guy's record because he took a class if your 17 and you catch a felony dui I feel there should be a path to redemption especially for juvenile records but in regard to sex crimes these people always reoffend and if he were required to be on the sex offender registry it would at least be a partial deterrent for one and for 2 he would have most likely gotten caught alot sooner being as the registry is public info and it would have possibly saved alot of these children's nudes from being taken let alone shared amongst the pedo community for profit no less . You can't compare pedophiles to white collar crime there are so many laws on the books that the average person commits 3 felonies a day unknowingly and for the less obvious and less serious crimes there should be a path to redemption

I don't think there's a rule or law or policy even that says a police officer isn't allowed to be "judgmental" about someone's crime. That applies to EMT's though. They have a code of ethics for EMS workers. Charles B. Gillespie 1978 and then revised in 2013. I know this because I have been treated like shit by EMS when I've had to call them. They criticize my complaints and tell me they have more important things to do. They aren't supposed to say shit like that. But I've never heard of such a rule for cops.
