[Congestion 1024] MAP27: Tower of Hades (UV-Max Demo)

  • a short map in congestion 1024 today, which i don't think was really fully calculated. or at least, i don't know that i wound up playing this the intended way. what looks like the idea here is that there are these spider masterminds surrounding the level and enemies spawning in, and you'd think you'd have to dodge the masterminds while dealing with the other enemies and letting them infight if possible, and then at some point the masterminds would get crushed or you'd get a ton of cells or whatever. but you can actually just crush them immediately, then deal with the enemies on the platform, which in my opinion is way easier, and the enemies don't start spawning until you hit a switch. it's still not necessarily super easy - there's a lot of enemies including a cyberdemon, only a couple pillars for cover, and additional ammo comes in tiny closets that are easy to get stuck in. but in my opinion, it's way easier when you're not taking chip damage the entire time. oh and try not to fall off, because that's instant death.
