I maxed out my 3 bar map sensor nearly 20 years ago on a stock block SR20DET. No idea what boost it actually made, but it was an interesting ride, especially before I change the standard suspension. Not sure I am buying the 1300hp figure without seeing it.
I get trading the R8. An S15 is probably my top dream car. Beautiful, hardy, light, mods wonderfully both visually and mechanically... Killer build, awesome background and story. Much love!
Wow, what an epic video. The original owner is a legend, built his car roughly the same time I built my sr20 13, and s14. I only made it to 500rwhp in mine and it was awesome, I could only imagine what double that with change feels like plus a sequential box.
I feel him, I'm a long covid hauler. I been trying to enjoy building and racing again, but it's been hard for me to get the energy yet alone be able to breathe. I take things slowly, but pay for it later. I hope he keeps enjoying this to the fullest.
I always laugh when you think of all the machining and clearances that go into a built engine like this,just to run no filter on the turbo sucking all kinda dirt and trash into the engine
The car isn’t daily driven nor has anything happened thru the 20yrs I’ve ran without one, also the location is high enough the not pick up debris and the oil is usually changed after an event or about 50gallons of c85 due to how harsh the fuel is

I wonder how turned down the power is in like the first 3 gears. I have a coupe big turbo rb25 over 500 whp and on slicks on the street it spins in 3rd mines not boost by gear. Id be curious of the actual power numbers in 1-2-3rd gear on the street. Sick car! Love theese builds esp with the sr20 love thoose motors!
It should have more lag and a lot more wheel spin at that power through the rears. Plus that turbo mounted like that is sucking in hot radiator air which will hurt it.
Why would you want lag ? And wheel spin? That motor spools that turbo perfectly fine. Also wheel spin means your moving forward at a slower pace, I set the car up to put the power down not blow the tires away and it puts a lot of power down . Also the turbo location is fine as the iat’s are usually 65-77 degrees on a hot day and lower at night and cooler days.
not to mention how goddamn light the s13 coupe is. They are like 2600lbs with full interior? this things gutted so probs 2400lbs with cage? And 1300bhp im guessing around 1000rwhp. That power to weight is fucked hahaha edit: looked it up 2500lbs full interior and some have weighed in at 2000lbs gutted... so im guessing this things under 2300lbs.

Lambo has a tighter chassis. Even with slicks the S13 won’t hook as hard as a UGR TT V10. I will say he bought a car that is harder to find. You can find 20 R8s on Car Gurus but good luck finding 20 S13 coupes that aren’t scrap.
Cool car, but RP isn't rare at all. It is the most commonly inhiereted retinal desease. As a legally blind driver that loves sports cars, it is cool to see guys like me get their cars featured though.

I’ve been through 5 240sx cars through my life and regret selling them. S13 coupe was my absolute favorite chassis, so easy to see out of.

1-2 are about 830-860 and the boost ramps top of 2nd-3rd 1000+ . Suspension/tires and controlling boost and traction etc
