But he would be more on the outside like the piano player who doesn't partake in the ritual but still plays a part. Look at the scene when he is asked to take care of the woman that overdosed. I'm talking about someone like that who would take care of someone who collapses at the ritual.

First Zeigler taps the pool ball 2 times on the pool table (which is covered in red felt btw) then again (so there is no mistake) he taps the chalk Square 2 times. Just like red cloak tapping his magick wand 2 times on the floor. The voices don't really match up because of 1 of 2 reasons imo. Either Zeigler can throw his voice. Not uncommon. Or imo the film is a dream but it's about things that really happen. The novela it's based on is called "Dream Story." I think after Kidman looks into the mirror in the beginning the rest becomes "a dream". Genius film making I have to say...

Yes! I enjoyed this man's performance. His character was extremely seductive and extremely good looking. I sensed how dangerous he was, but I found it very difficult to look away. His conversation was titillating and erotic in subtext. I just had to see where he was going with it. That fascination is like looking into the cobra's eye. Once he fixes your gaze, you're done.Thank God, it was only a movie! I never met anyone in real life who could transfix me like that. There's always some glitch that breaks the spell(i.e. nervous fidget, stumble over a word, etc.). Sky Dumont's delivery was flawlessly diabolical. Great acting, great movie!
