Denise, you create stunning videos and I enjoy watching your videos and learning from your knowledgeable steady countenance. You are a true gem and your art creations are just lovely. Yes even your charts bloom and give us inspiration to create our own art. Your raven is breathtaking! Thank you for sharing and giving us another opportunity to be inspired. Please take care and be safe. We miss your videos and look forward to watching your next offering.
Beautiful painting... ethereal, and the violin music in the background did it for me. A few tears have been shed. Thank you for your skill and information
I love your videos so much! They are so relaxing. I know from following your other socials you have been struggling with mental health, and I know this doesn't change anything, but I'm a coronavirus researcher and I really really appreciate being able to watch your videos to calm down/relax when the science pressure gets too much. Thank so much again!
Thank you so much for all your hard work Jennifer, genuinely. I'd have an easier time if the other half of our country was taking this seriously. The lack of empathy and disregard for human life is what I've been struggling with the most. I'm hoping we get some good news next week, and hopefully that that good news can make your job easier too 💕
Yes a new color spotlight! Ugh I love your videos so much. I remember watching the old ones of this series over and over, deciding what to put in my palette. Good times. Thank you so much for your time and research
I'm so happy I can watch another of your videos, Denise! Thank you very much for spoiling us yet again. The painting turned out gorgeous, and the music you picked goes so well with that wistful look in its eye.
He looks beautiful but crows are as they have not just got a beautiful sheen but have gorgeous colours running through their glossy black feathers . I think you painted this beautifully and I also loved the beautiful eerie violins music that was playing in the back ground 😀
A chunk of gold in the morning!!! Yes!! I love your color spotlight series. Perylene Violet has become one of my very favorite colors. I use it mostly for mixing skin tones. I have the Schminke version, and also have DS naphthamide maroon... but woah, do I need Roman Szmal now!! 😅🤞😚😍 it looks so good. Like, dream color. Thanks for another amazing relaxing video filled with intoxicating information!!
Please don't worry about background noises, or Cricket noises......I've almost never heard it, and I play videos very loudly. I've even played a few back, to see if I can hear what you're apologizing for, and It's rare that I can. I have perfect hearing, btw! lol So don't fret.....just carry on with your WONDERFUL videos!
Lovely to see you again and for such a beautiful color spotlight too! I must admit I was SHOCKED at the deep black on the raven when you put down the first stroke of it. Holy cow like midnight velvet dark. Keep being awesome 💖 well wishes in this crazy year
It was such a joy to see your lovely face at the end of the video! of course, now I have to add a new Roman Szmal color to my cart, on Jackson's. Lol! It is rather magical, every time I watch you paint a creature and start with these washed out layers that end up becoming vibrant, intense, gorgeous pieces of art. Thanks for the color spotlight!
YES! That's what i'm looking for is a comparison, side by side, of perylene violet and mars violet. I would love to know the difference, if there are any. I'm looking for the right color to buy. I hear W&N have the most closely accurate caput mortuum version of mars violet, but i hadn't seen the perylene until recently and now i can't decide. i want to make sure it's not too red, like more muted and not too close to red oxide. More of a purplish raw umber for shadows and such. Such a beautiful color. Golden looks to maybe be too red, but it's so hard to tell online. I would love to hear your opinion on these two colors.
I really enjoyed this one, it's a beautiful colour and you are so helpful with mixing suggestions. The raven is superb - the expressive colour suits it perfectly. Thanks! X
Yeah, I haven't been getting alerts and have the bell on. My ADHD self tends to forget things exist if I cannot see them, but thought of you while watching another channel. I did see YT mention somewhere that if you follow more than 1k people there are issues. At one point it was unsubbing me to everyone, but I think they worked that part out. ...We're not going to talk about the fact that I follow more than 1,000 people, but I am going to casually mention it's the chronic illness's fault. I am not responsible. It wasn't me. More importantly, I think this is my favorite piece you've done on here. It is just lovely and the texture really took it to the next level.
Thank you for another lovely colour spotlight and beautiful artwork! I have the Schmincke Perylene Violet, too, and use it mainly to create blacks aswell although it is very well sited for darker florals, berries and shadows in general. 🥰😍🧡❤🖤 Oh, yes! Fingers crossed for your election! 🤞🏻🤞🏼🤞🏿👍🏻
Thank you. Beautiful! I have used Perylene Violet with Prussian Blue to paint a crow and also with Perylene Green to get a dark black. I have W&N which is similar to the Roman Szmal.
Thank you for the video. I think the white spots are due to the paper sizing deterioration from exposure to air rather than the paint itself. I may be wrong but from experience, Arches paper actually expires quite quickly if the pad/block is not used soon enough after opening. It's probably around a year though.
Mixed with cerulean blue this made the PERFECT color for blue jeans 👖 that I have been looking 👀 for. Aaauuugggh🤤 I cannot wait to play with this color more. It sits on my RS pallet almost untouched. How could I have missed owning this gorgeous color? 🖍️Lol. Love ur videos and artwork. 🤗You're such a good teacher👩🏫 and I swear your voice is like ASMR lol 🤣😂
Oh my word what gorgeous mixes those are!!!!!! And that third mix almost makes something similar to Schmincke Prussian Green (I think, at least it looks that way to me on this screen) One of the most beautiful colours I have ever seen. Love these videos, thank you so much! Amazing artist, wowee!
Thank you for another episode of Color Spotlight! I own the DS version of this color, but admit that I haven't used it much--so I appreciate some ideas and your lovely raven. I love that the violin piece was called Sonata for a Good Life--something we really need these days. And I also hope everyone votes, not just for national elections, as it's important to know who is making decisions for you and your community locally and to participate in our democracy. 🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸
Hey there! You probably won't read this, but I want to thank you anyway. I failed my drivers license test today, and felt like total crap after that. This had been really important to me and I had studied a lot, and so when I heard that I had failed, I felt really bad. But this video gave me peace and helped me to relax. I know, next time I'll try it, I'll do better. Have a wonderful day! And thank you very much!
This video was a very pleasant surprise! I used my perylene violet from White Nights on Canson Mouilin du Roy paper the same day you uploaded your video and it behaves the same as you described with other brands. But I haven’t noticed how much it changes in hue while drying before. It’s still a fairly new paint to me, you made me understand it a little better. Thank you!
The color combination for the raven is beautiful! I think I'm actually waiting on a Roman Szmal Perylene Violet to arrive, now I'm even more excited to get it!
I love this color, I've only used the one from W&N but am very happy with it. I like to use it as a shadow color, especially in floral work. Recently did a little sketch using it as the darkest tone in a negative painting based on flower and leaf outline-esque sketching.
Hi Denise! I love your colour spotlight series and this one was no exception. I love perylene green but am interested to try this one now too! Your raven is gorgeous.. take care 😊💜
I wonder if I could get a close color to perylene violet if I mixed perylene maroon and dioxazine violet? I’m personally really loving the deep reds, violets and browns with those undertones
Hi! I'm so glad i found this video and even more glad to have found your channel and wish I'd found it long ago!! This painting is gorgeous!!!! I've been seeing the perylene colors more and more and especially this one so I'm trying to learn about it. Looks like it'll go onto my wishlist! One day I'd love to order from Jackson's, especially to get the last version you used to do this painting. Won't be anytime soon. I'm healing from a major surgery that went very very sideways...I woke up with a paralyzed right diaphragm and crushed lung and no use of my right arm and nobody could explain what was happening or why. I've found another specialist that could be straight with me and explain some of it. The arm he can't explain, the rest he could and was honest even when I didn't want to hear it could be a year or more before they'll know if the diaphragm will wake up. So I'll be on oxygen and weak and sleeping in the living room completely upright for....well...I just can't think about it. I'm having to relearn how to use my arm. Anyway...I just wrote out this crazy long thing about my life and the mental mess I'm in but this is already too long so I deleted it. I'm sorry this is so long already. I mentioned my situation only because I always have health issues that stop me from being able to do much of anything, and right now I'm at a full stop...but I appreciate very much...more than I can fully express...having artists like you that work so hard to make these beautiful videos helps my head stay, or try to, in a beautiful, positive and inspired place and not under the dark water of the pit in my head that always pulls at me. Art, teaching myself art several years back in a desperate grasp at helping myself not lose my mind...has helped me stay focused on those good things :) so when my health stops me from being able to do it myself, I appreciate coming here to still see gorgeous colors and amazing art being made! It's an amazing help!! I'm excited to make my way through your videos :) Sorry for this long comment...gosh....imagine if I left the full original one😳😲🤦🏼♀️ Anyway...thanks for this! For now I'll have to figure out a way to substitute for this color, just make something semi close if possible, with what I have. But its definitely one ill be saving for!! Thank you again for all your hard work. The music while you paint...so relaxing! I loved hearing your explanation of everything and I'm in love with how you chart your colors!!! But the end with the music was unexpected and very nice too! Versions with you painting with calming beautiful music would be an amazing playlist 🙂 no push there, just thinking out loud...which I'm clearly doing too much of😳🤦🏼♀️ it's late and I still can't sleep but I'm apparently a bit punchy.... So...thank you...truly!!!❤
i have a hunch you can mix perylene maroon with a magenta or blue (maybe indanthrone) to get the violet, and mixing perylene violet with a mid red should get you the maroon but i'm not sure cause i don't have either of them to test my theory, could you mayhaps help me with this?
Wonderful, just what I needed! I recently got the W&N one in a small tube. I really love it in darker skintones already and can only imagine what else it can do. I would not be mad at getting to try that Naphtamide maroon from DS either, tho.
I’ve got the Winsor & Newton Perylene Violet and it’s also beautiful! It seems to fade less when drying, compared to your Schmincke one. I also use it with W&N Perylene Green to mix greys and near-blacks. The W&N Perylene Maroon is also wonderful (and would be great now for Halloween fake blood 😝...)
Is the W&N version way more purple? I just finished a dot card & I don't think it looks anything like the ones you switched on this video. Loving you videos, thank you for your work.
that was a LOVELY painting Denise...here in the Yukon the raven's are much blacker...with hardly any other shades of maroon/viotlet or green...Magpies are very black as well with iridescence
Welcome back! Hope you are doing well and in higher spirits. I love this color so much. Is there a pigment or even mixed pigment watercolor that looks the same way dry as PV29 looks when wet?
I found i could mix something pretty spot on in mass tone using a pv 19, pbr7, and pv23, though the burnt umber granulates so you may wanna take that into account, depending on what you have!!
I'm still playing with options but most dark watercolors will lighten a bit (though not all as much as the perylene colors). A rich neutral tint with cool reds are a fun combo!
I loved seeing the interesting colors you came up with! Thank you. I have a Mars Violet by Holbein (I thought it might be the same as perelyene violet until I looked up the pigments) Its made of PR101, PV23, and PBr 7, according to Jane Blundell's list of Holbein pigment colors. As soon as I can I want to get some Roman Szmal colors, they look beautiful and are priced affordably at this time, although it looks like they must be ordered from England, which perhaps does not take too long?
As soon as I saw you swatch this colour in your Roman Szmal video I was hooked and ended up buying it myself. The fact that you've also made a colour spotlight on it made my day!! These videos always relax and inspire me beyond anything, so thank you. The wait is ALWAYS worth it ❤️❤️ Also, I saw this video go into premiere on my main page (didn't join then bc I had no time), but other than that I never got a notification that it went up, despite the fact that I have all notifications on for this channel (I double checked 😅). Very strange
I love all the Perylene pigments. I have the Green, Maroon and Violet in several brands and find I prefer Winser & Newton's version of Perylene Maroon and Perylene Violet best. I have not expirienced any speckiling with my WInser & Newton Perylene Violet that I use for skin tones. I use Arches all the time. Thanks for sharing. I Admit, I have missed you.
Thanks for the amazing video!! It was pretty interesting to watch and that bird looks gorgeous:) I did have a question about Roman szmal’s perylene violet- I was wondering if you liked it as much as the Daniel Smith version as I have heard that the RS version is more brown. Anyways I did order a RS perylene maroon so I might try mixing up a similar hue for perylene violet. Looking forward to the next video in the series!!
I've been so impressed with the Roman Szmal colours, until I bought some of the new ones. Don't bother with the new lapis, malachite or vivianite they are more expensive and are very weak especially if you have used the ones from Nila Colori.
by the way, the Malachite from Alina Gallo in Italy is wonderful..wets very easily and mixes well...she has a lot of other amazing stuff as well....Janis
Is there anywhere you can order a Lapis that isn't weak ? Generally I run into those two problems everytime I see a lapis watercolor:expensive and weak, so it got me wondering if there were any exceptions or is that what you get from lapis? The paintings by Vermeer would suggest otherwise but if you had the idea of ordering any of the few lapis' I have seen for sale and thought you were about to make Vermeer blush, you would be in for some disappointment....
@@u.sonomabeach6528 The Nila Colori one I have is gorgeous, the best I've tried by some margin. They don't seem to have it on the site at the moment (along with a few others) so I'm not sure if it's coming back. I think there is a review video on this channel but not sure if she has Lapis. I'm going to order the Gallo one when it restocks as it looks similar.
After this long, you likely will not see this comment, but thanks ever so much for what you do for the art community. You are a shining example how one person can make a positive difference to the lives of so many. I have "found' so many of your excellent videos. QUESTION - What white did you use for the highlights? When does one use Intense white block vs. gouache or a gel pen? My gel pens dry out quickly, but I really like the idea of the white Intense block. (I have a set of 12 pencils.) How does this compare to Dr. Ph. Martin's white, which is on my wish list?
Thank you so much, Joy! I'm not sure what I was using in this video specifically. It was either a tube from Mijello's Mission White gouache hybrid paints (which I no longer use) or Dr. Ph Martin's Bleedproof White (which is technically a gouache and is what I still use now). I rarely use gel pens anymore, since I often need white for fine details like whiskers. I haven't tried the intense white block so I'm not sure about that!
Anyone else experience this? I usually love the first wash so much, I have a difficult time painting over the second then the third is nearly impossible. Yet in my heart i want to achieve this end result. How did you over come it?
Omg, that Roman szmal version of perylene violet is gorgeous and really makes the other brands pale in comparison. I love perylene colours since they’re so muted ❤️❤️❤️ And welcome back! I’ve been watching all your old videos lately and wondering how you were doing and then bam, a new video... but still, how are you doing?
Hi Denise, I LOVE your videos, I would like to follow more on Skillshare and wondered if your 2 months free code is still available? I clicked on the links in a few of your videos but it just says 14 day trial. Has the offer expired?
Denise, I love your videos. I’m struggling though with this new diagonal shooting angle. And that it is zoomed in so far and every shot. It’s just making it kind of hard to see the swatches well. And it was especially difficult with the one where you had a color chart, because I wanted to see which colors are being mixed together and had nothing on the screen that I could read to verify. This is just a little constructive criticism, just a viewpoint. But I think shooting the swatching from an overhead angle was better. ---On another note I was really excited to see you put out some videos. I hope things have gotten better for you and I really look forward to seeing more color spotlights and anything really. I really miss getting regular content from your channel. Much love. K
I'm sorry you're not enjoying the format. You cannot see what I am painting when my camera is directly overhead (my hand blocks it) and I do try to leave the scanned image up for quite a while to compensate for that and clearly show the colors. The scan is much more accurate anyway, with the filming being some B-roll to look at to show the brief process. I'll take it into consideration though!
In Liquid Color I know what you mean about hands getting in the way, for sure. It’s just I didn’t really notice that being a problem so much in your previous format. Probably because you move around a lot. And I think previously you did zoomed in shots interspersed with showing the whole page as well. I guess the other format was just so seamless, and I didn’t really even think too much about it. But now it almost feels frustrating like I just want to reach into the screen and rotate things LOL. Or move the frame backwards. ---- I hope that doesn’t sound like a pile of negative criticism or anything. I just wanted to state my experience in case others were feeling the same way. --- I know ultimately it’s your call, of course, and your creative process. But as a fellow creative I know that feedback can be helpful. :) Anyway thanks for listening, stay well and avoid the Rona!
I have W&N videos, they're in the 2019 Top 10 Favorite brands, and they're in these videos when I have swatches, but I don't have a wide range of their paints.
I haven't jumped into the Perylene Violet game...yet. Haha! I have a half pan from Schmincke and a pan from Roman Szmal. It is a gorgeous color, but I haven't really found a reason to use it yet.
Just catching up on this one. What a wonderful color that I never knew I needed to have! lol! So, why is PV29 so different between the three? Is it the gum arabic mix? I know nothing about the formulations, so it's a mystery to me. Thank you for the really wonderful presentation on this one. And your final painting is just fantastic! I hope all is well on your end, Denise! Have a wonderful holiday season and looking forward to what's next for you! Cheers! ~ Mark
THE WAY I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THE NOTIF!!! I MISS YOUR VIDS SO MUCH ❤️
Denise, you create stunning videos and I enjoy watching your videos and learning from your knowledgeable steady countenance. You are a true gem and your art creations are just lovely. Yay! Another color spotlight!
And as a violinist, I LOVED hearing such a beautiful piece while you painted. Lovely.
So glad you enjoyed it! I looove violin 🥰
Beautiful painting... ethereal, and the violin music in the background did it for me. A few tears have been shed. Thank you for your skill and information

In Liquid Color and the good news has arrived! :D
Just wanted to send you a huge thank you for the work you do
Yes a new color spotlight! Ugh I love your videos so much. I remember watching the old ones of this series over and over, deciding what to put in my palette. Good times. Thank you so much for your time and research
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I'm so happy I can watch another of your videos, Denise! Thank you very much for spoiling us yet again. The painting turned out gorgeous, and the music you picked goes so well with that wistful look in its eye.
I enjoy the color spotlight and learn so much. I especially like the use of unexpected colors when you choose your painting image. Thank you!
He looks beautiful but crows are as they have not just got a beautiful sheen but have gorgeous colours running through their glossy black feathers . I think you painted this beautifully and I also loved the beautiful eerie violins music that was playing in the back ground 😀
Loved that beautiful painting. The violin piece was lovely. Always a joy watching the color spotlight!
So, so glad to see the Color Spotlight again. I never tire of this series and seeing you do a deep dive into an amazing color.
Beautiful! It was wonderful watching you paint this, really enjoyed it.
Swatches make my life complete. Yours have such a wonderful colour story.
A chunk of gold in the morning!!! Yes!! I love your color spotlight series. Perylene Violet has become one of my very favorite colors. I use it mostly for mixing skin tones. I would wait forever for your videos, Denise! Take your time and hope you're doing better--they're a treat every time the notif pops up!
I'm so in love with basically all of the perylene colors. Perylene green is probably my favorite, but they are all beautiful.
After a hard day, it’s lovely to “see you”, dear Denise! Your nails are so pretty! What a wonderful video! I love those earth colors!
Sending lots of hugs, my friend!! 💕
Mr. Roman Szmal's paints are fantastic and excellent. Huge color selection is cool too!
More Color Spotlight, please! This is another color I didn't know I needed. Thank you so much!
Lovely to see you again and for such a beautiful color spotlight too! I must admit I was SHOCKED at the deep black on the raven when you put down the first stroke of it. Holy cow like midnight velvet dark. Keep being awesome 💖 well wishes in this crazy year
That combo is really velvety! I love it 🥰
It was such a joy to see your lovely face at the end of the video! of course, now I have to add a new Roman Szmal color to my cart, on Jackson's. Lol! It is rather magical, every time I watch you paint a creature and start with these washed out layers that end up becoming vibrant, intense, gorgeous pieces of art. Thanks for the color spotlight!
love all the perylene colours and this one look nice but as I use limited pallets i would go for a caput mortuum, TFS
Also a great color!

I really enjoyed this one, it's a beautiful colour and you are so helpful with mixing suggestions. The raven is superb - the expressive colour suits it perfectly. Thanks! X
"...a range of scarlet, red, maroon, purple..."
Ah yes, various hues of red.
"...and green."
🤔
🤣💜
There is always the black sheep in the family.

GURL that limited palette suggestion! 10/10 gonna have to cobble that one together
Ooo I'd love to see what you create with it!

Oh wow I just love the colors on the bird. Amazing job!😍
This raven is breathtakingly beautiful ! Perylene violet is a staple on my palette 😊
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge with all of us.this is the best and most complete study I have ever seen.God bless you.
Incredible raven - what a perfect (unexpected!) subject to showcase the color... and with music, makes me ready for Halloween!

That's good to know since I didn't have W&Ns brand to compare. Thanks for sharing!
I bought the Roman Szmal. I love this raven! I always wondered how to handle their delicate iridescence. This was a great solution!
I like mixing perylene green and perylene violet for a beautiful near black.
The color combination for the raven is beautiful! I think I'm actually waiting on a Roman Szmal Perylene Violet to arrive, now I'm even more excited to get it!
This is my all time favorite of all you have done! Amazing!
Thank you! What a beautiful painting! And your mixes! 😍

I'm excited to make my way through your videos :)
Sorry for this long comment...gosh....imagine if I left the full original one😳😲🤦🏼♀️
Anyway...thanks for this!
Informative and aesthetic as always! Brava!
I LOVE this color! I use it allll the time in my shadow ^-^
Another excellent video Denise!! So good to get surprised by your notification
Wow, that raven looks real cool 🥰 Love the colours together! They almost got a bit of a galaxy vibe together, don't you think?
Great video! Those raven darks are gorgeous! VOTE!
i have a hunch you can mix perylene maroon with a magenta or blue (maybe indanthrone) to get the violet, and mixing perylene violet with a mid red should get you the maroon but i'm not sure cause i don't have either of them to test my theory, could you mayhaps help me with this?
OMG that turned out beautiful!
Nice. I’m excited. Hope you are doing ok.
Fantastic! Thank you!
Yayyy, my favorite bird 🥰 I love perylene colors 😊
Wonderful, just what I needed!
I recently got the W&N one in a small tube. I really love it in darker skintones already and can only imagine what else it can do.
I would not be mad at getting to try that Naphtamide maroon from DS either, tho.
What a pretty color I think I may need to add this to my pallet!
I think I’d like to see this in a gal floral boutique or as a dark alternative leaves 🍁
Thanks so much for your videos 🥰. Take care, you are a treasure.
Beautiful raven!!
You should do your own version of the optical illusion art (bunny/bird) using these colors. They’re perfect, and this piece is evocative of it.
M. Graham carries a Maroon Perylene (PR179). From your screen, it seems to be closer to your PR171 DS.
I'm not sure what you're referring to. I have a separate video on PR179 if you're interested.
that was a LOVELY painting Denise...here in the Yukon the raven's are much blacker...with hardly any other shades of maroon/viotlet or green...Magpies are very black as well with iridescence
Haha thank you. Yes, this was an artistic interpretation of a raven :)
It takes a little while to ship overseas right now, but my order didn't take too long!
Beautiful!
Whatever happened to spotlight on phthalo green yellow shade at the end of the previous season? I was so looking forward to it.
It's coming up in two episodes :)
Yay!
As soon as I saw you swatch this colour in your Roman Szmal video I was hooked and ended up buying it myself. The fact that you've also made a colour spotlight on it made my day!! These videos always relax and inspire me beyond anything, so thank you. The wait is ALWAYS worth it ❤️❤️
Also, I saw this video go into premiere on my main page (didn't join then bc I had no time), but other than that I never got a notification that it went up, despite the fact that I have all notifications on for this channel (I double checked 😅). Very strange
The views on this video are really low in comparison to my others. I'm not sure what to do how how to fix this issue :(
I love all the Perylene pigments.
I am new here. Your paintings are all stunning and so relaxing to watch you paint. Also your voice is so lovely.
Welcome! Thank you for the kind words.
@@kookatsoonjan I'll look it up, thanks 👍
A very nice color. Amazing video and painting! I was wondering how you like to edit your videos. (I'm trying to start a channel of my own.)
how does perylene violet compare to mars violet? Big price difference, but i can't find any comparisons.
W&N has one too 🙏🏼🎨
After this long, you likely will not see this comment, but thanks ever so much for what you do for the art community.
@@InLiquidColor Thank you for your detailed and gracious reply.
How do you do the mixing part
Anyone else experience this? I usually love the first wash so much, I have a difficult time painting over the second then the third is nearly impossible. Yet in my heart i want to achieve this end result. How did you over come it?
Thanks, Denise. Would you say it’s a neutral hue?
I wouldn't call it a neutral. It's easy to mix neutrals from it, but it's definitely more vibrant that that.
Thanks Faye! Just trying to do the best I can, but it's been a rough year. I hope you are well and thank you for the support!
What do you mean when you refer to it's "mast tone"?
Masstone, full strength :)
Hi Denise, I LOVE your videos, I would like to follow more on Skillshare and wondered if your 2 months free code is still available? I clicked on the links in a few of your videos but it just says 14 day trial. Has the offer expired?
Where have you gone?
I do hope you are well, we've heard so little from you for so long and you have been missed. Thanks.
Thanks Lee! It's been a really rough year but I'm trying my best to get back on track. Miss you all!
Do you have any links to your swatching method? As a beginner, swatching is helpful. 😊 thank you

Thanks! I don't own this pigment yet, but it looks good, less 'dried blood' look than the maroon :-)
Woooow😍
♥
'🌹🌹 amazing video💖I enjoyed watching your video.😍🌹🎀 Have a good day'
Winsor Newton makes a lovely perylene violet as well but I noticed that you never mention W&N in your videos, at least I’ve never seen it.
*cough* Roman Szmal *cough* haha. It's sooo good. I'll be replacing the version I use on my palette for sure! I hope you find fun uses for yours.
wonderful violinist, btw
I agree! Love that piece :)
Cheers! ~ Mark
