i wonder who would won ego the marvel super villain vs protomolecule eros planet shape
Keeep iT up bro!!!! Good job!! Waiting on Some more!!!
I have to wonder if the protomolecule built some form of Alcubierre drive on Eros. Since it bends space itself to create forward movement, there wouldn't be the induced G forces you'd feel if you were chasing it using traditional rockets. That could be why Miller didn't feel any major G forces while Eros was accelerating so fast. It's technically scientifically possible, it would just take a shit ton of energy. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcubierre_drive
The Carl Macek effort "Super Dimensional Fortress Macross", (Robotech) featured "protoculture", which was a mysterious substance that would yield enormous, and virtually inexhaustible energy.
Season 2 episode 1: Where did the protomolecule cannister come from that's aboard the Rocinante? I don't remember them bringing it aboard.
Have you read the books? The protomolocule does some super crazy shit.
I haven't read the books (yet), since I strictly wanted this video to be TV series only and not risk cross-contamination of information. I know there is more lore and background info about the Protomolecule in the books, but I'm going to wait for it in season 3 and let it surprise me.
It generally starts by turning people into either meat carpets or protomolecule-puking zombies. It does... _unique_ things to people. Or the parts it has use for.
What if the Protomolecule was not actually destined for earth, but ended up where it was, for its own purposes. Afterall, "in orbit around Saturn" isn't exactly close to "on Earth" for a species that is capable of all the things that happen in Abbadon's Gate, Cibola Burn and Strange Dogs. If it was enroute to Earth, perhaps it got diverted to Saturn after the interstellar network/hub station sent the shutdown order after whatever happened with The Investigator reaches out and reaches out and found what it was looking for.

seems like the flood or necromorphs
However, Dresden has demonstrated both sociopathic and paranoid behavior.
read the damn books!
There's nothing in the books about protomolecule that show hasn't revealed already.
I have not read the books, so my opinions are just based on watching the show. That said, I do not think the proto-molecule is meant to be a threat, not was that the intent of it's creators. It is the shitty, greedy humans of solar system who are trying to weaponize it. I suspect strongly that as the show proceeds, they are going to find that their "creations" are incapable of being controlled and have an agenda of their own that is not necessarily hostile to humans. I think the last scene of the Venus probe as well as Julie Mao's last moments with Miller strongly hint at the PM's true "intention."
Anyone intrigued by what is going on there but (like me) doesn't want to spoil the show by reading the books, I would highly recommend viewing Tarkovsky's mind-blowing 1972 sci-fi epic Solaris. The PM may not be exactly like the alien planet in Solaris, but I do believe there are similarities in their interactions with humans and their ultimate intent.
Greatest sci fi show ever for this guy!
are you dutch?
Yeah, can you tell? :P
Sounds belter to me
