God I miss this guy in pro wrestling. I even loved his run at and after WrestleMania XIX. Those memories are some of my best just because of my age at the time but boy he was great on mic
Hogan had always been the best in my opinion and my favorite good guy and Piper has always been the best bad guy. They had a great rivalry then friendship.R.I.P Piper.
It's so difficult to sit through these Piper interviews. He's obviously got lots of great stories but he's so frickin' lit, losing his train of thought and drifting all over the place.
I'm a little confused. When he said Salvatore Bellomo, he patted himself on the back, but that's a Barry Horowitz mannerism, so am I missing something?
Piper seems a tiny bit spaced out in this shoot but God bless the Hot rod,he was a hell of a wrestler and worker. Damn shame what pat patterson done to him the seedy bastard.
Piper did do pills and such. You also have to remember guys like Roddy were never allowed to talk about this kind of stuff. They didn't talk about matches and the stuff behind the scenes. It was secret. So it's tough for some of these guys to open up. If they had talked about this stuff in the 70s and 80s they would have lost their careers.
Just couldn’t get a straight answer out of piper in this interview. Fricking annoying. Should have came with a translator. Simple questions. Not talking about nuclear peace treaty
@@davidcoates7615 i care. It would have been great to hear him answer questions w clear head. He wasnt making sense. Very strange. He was def on pills or some type substance.
@@Johnnyrocks34 That seems plausible. I also wonder if maybe there was a touch of dementia, or maybe just general brain damage from all the years of abuse.
Hot Rod You were the best. Your the reason people watch wrestling
He s def not reading this. Who are u talking to?
@@Johnnyrocks34 hahahaa
Could ask you the same question, you've only made about 10 comments on this video. @@Johnnyrocks34
Andre picking villagers out of his teeth! LOL I spit my coffee out my nose

Piper was a genius. He’s greatly missed.
My God I miss him 😭

He s on pills. He had bad pill problem
Sometimes he was alright but in this particular case he's completely scrambled. Like you said very difficult to try and get through.
He’s not lit, he’s brain damaged from his injuries like most of them unfortunately
@@geneawisea2708 thats not brain damage. Thats pills

Yea! Piper made no sense this entire interview! He was on pills. Frustrating to watch. No clear answers.
@@Johnnyrocks34 a lot of it is kayfabe preservation which is pointless, and some because of the content of the topics, but that must be it too
Could be CTE, drugs, anxiety on talking past kayfabe, etc
@@CadChamberlain he was always so nervous when talking about heavy shit, but yeah, it could be several factors
The pain in Roddy’s eyes, the pauses, the tone of his voice you can tell he saw and did things that scarred him. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Hotrod.
He s on pills. Vicodin or something like that
@@Johnnyrocks34 Pills don't make you retarded lol Brett Farve won MVP and Superbowl on Vicoden
What’s the deal with Sean’s body language? Almost cartoonish
Hotrod is high and making no sense. He s uncomfortable and trying to make it entertaining and cover for him
Patterson liked snappin' into a hotrod
What is he on? He’s so stoned.

Great interview but wow was RRP high or what? Yikes.

Who cares! He is more entertaining in his interviews than watching most wrestlers do anything!

If you think he was in his right mind during this interview, then you’ve lost yours.
