And to me, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque was the one who built his rise off Owen's fall. That's why I've total contempt for Paul. You don't use another man's death to build a career path for yourself...at all.
No they don't. That's like saying the commissioner of baseball is personally responsible for the fan who fell off the balcony reaching for a foul ball. In reality Owen is responsible for his death. He was told to not flap his arms and legs as he was repelling down. Owen thought he could do it so despite being told not to Owen went ahead and flopped around while repelling causing the harness to disengage. It it funny how all the morons dream up conspiracies involving only on-camera characters that fans see on TV.
When Roddy mentioned Owens death the crown was silenced crazy R.I.P Roddy Piper
When he yelled into the mic He's Dead! my heart broke with HotRod.
Brett Hart says in his book that they are some legitimate distant relation. Though neither of them were actually aware of that until they'd been working together already in the WWF. At least I believe that's what was said.
The Harts are related to another family by the name of Tombs that Roddy's family, the Toombs, may be distantly related to as well. Cousin is a stretch, but the relation is a real possibility. That and Bret and Roddy were apparently very close.
PURE GOLD!!!
WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU RODDY!!!
Legends say Cornette watches this day after day.
Watching strippers dance to bagpipes is so fucking surreal
The genius of Russo bro 😂
19 people made a BAD mistake: You don't throw rocks at a man whose got a machine gun!
R.I.P "Hot Rod" Rowdy Roddy Piper.
54 now!
Cant wait to meet him in Heaven
My friends brother had the sunglasses from They Live tattooed on his leg, then had Pipers autograph tattooed on it too, any time Piper came to Massachusetts for anything, my buddys brother got in for free, just had to tell security to tell Piper the guy with the glasses tattoo was outside, and Piper would have them let him in....
Just when they thought they had all the answers, he changed the question!
114 Dumbasses now
Piper's not just "a" boss. he's "THE" boss.
this was great... thanks for posting... there is another shoot interview posted on RUclips in which Piper explains all this.....
I hate to admit but Roddy Roddy Piper is right!!
Holy Cow that was all-time great... Even if you don’t know the context.. Here from seeing a shoot interview with Piper.
I am 55 years old and it brings a tear to my eye when he asked about Owen . A superstar gone way to early .And you can tell it still hurts Hot Rod. Vince Russo almost killed wrestling wish he had died that night
I am 58 years old, and have been a wresting fan for 53 of those years that started at my grandmother's knee. I could NOT agree with you more. VERY WELL SAID, MY FRIEND!
Possibly the greatest Promo ever delivered in professional wrestling………definitely the most truthful!
It’s a Work….and secondly, not even close to the greatest
"My time is done, I agree, but so is yours, now you're the dinosaur!"

Seeing the girls dance to the bagpipes is hilarious
You are simply the Benoitden of professional wrestling
If this was a work, I challenge anyone to ACT that passionate.
If this was a shoot, I challenge anyone to BE that pissed off.
You can't and you couldn't. This is a master of his craft at work.
Great video.. top 10 of wrestling greats
Thank you Rowdy for that true Words!
Always wanted to meet Piper. I've heard he was such a good dude.
