I surely got totally confused with that and couldn't follow up even though it sounded so good.
By the way, love that Ibanez. I have one similar, and it's always my go to number one for serious learning. I know there are other excellent brands out there, but my Ibanez just feels more comfortable for some reason.😉
Yeah the Wizard necks are perfect!
Sounded great to me!
It's cool to switch things up and go clean now and then!
I agree, I just wish I was better at it. Lol
Awesome
🤘
So glad I found your channel!
Dude, thank you and great to have you here!
@@jasonstallworth no sir, thank YOU! You do some nice simple stuff for anyone to start playing metal even at a base level which is awesome! I like a lot of shouty bands but Cradle of Filth and Deicide are my faves 🤘🏻
@@thenovicenoisemaker I LOVE some Cradle of Filth!!!
@@jasonstallworth I’ve got one of your albums on iTunes too 👍🏻
@@jasonstallworth awesome!! Seen them live a couple of times, mega!
My guitar teacher when I was 14 started me in E minor.
It’s a great place to start when you’re into rock and metal!
I like tone talks. Keep it clean lol.
I was hoping you guys would like that...I'll keep bringing it!
anyway to get the tab from this lesson? Thanks
I don't have for this lesson but I do provide tabs in my courses: www.jasonstallworth.com/courses/
This is pretty similar to a song I'm currently working on, except I'm using a capo on mine.
🤘
any tips on how to get fat fingers to not touch the string next to whatever one i'm pushing on? haha thanks
I think having a wider fretboard with more space between frets helps. Ibanez wizard necks are great!
@@jasonstallworth thank you brother
kinda random but whats the guitar at 0:15 ?
That's an Ibanez Prestige RG1570 but if you're asking about the one in the corner, that's the LTD D-5 bass.
Had something from Fade to Sanatorium. And One other song ;), just in E Minor instead of B Minor. Also sounds like the intro of "Valley of Misery", a song that was circulating the web before St. Anger and was wrongly attributed to Metallica.
Yeah they made that chord famous!
Ozzy Osborne. ,close my eyes forever has some more of this technique. ..thanks bud
That's one amazing tune!
Hey Meathead! I bought your book. I don't read. But I'll support your algorithm in life! Lol!!! 🤘🤪
Lol...thank you, brother!! It's an easy read, btw!
@@jasonstallworth 🤘😂 I am looking forward to it! Hope your day is awesome.
Only down picks Jason?
Yes! Sorry, I didn't mention that. You could alternate pick these, I guess. But I think it may flow better with downstrokes.
i want to get a bass guitar but where should i get one
It really depends on your budget as to what kind (if you're on a tight budget, I always suggest getting a good quality used bass because you'll get more bang for your buck). As far as where, look up Replay Guitar Exchange in Tampa (they do online orders), call them, and tell them Jason sent you! They will hook you up with something perfect!
@@jasonstallworth thanks man
If you have a Guitar Center near you, I'd try there too...
@@therayven3147 thanks man
@@mattstarkbodybuilding9495 yeah, no problem...
That C key you’re using sounds like Here by Castlebeat. Lol. It’s cool though
Thank you (I don't think I've ever heard Castlebeat)
@@jasonstallworth yeah? It’s not metal but more slow cruiser type of music. Good if you’re in love. or lonely lol?
@@undertow6966 lol...yeah sometimes mood music works for both!! And I do greatly appreciate a lot of non-metal music as well!
You are having Delay on...correct?
Yeah, I like a little chorus and delay for the cleans (and reverb, but did not have reverb here)
Love the I’m not going to play covers comment!! Lol 😂 I agree 100%
Yeah dude, it's always best to come up with your own riffs!
We on the same page ! I’ve had so many “conversations “ with fellow players about covers over the years . Ya it’s all fine and dandy shows you got sum talent but to create is the real power!!
Exactly. I find it difficult to learn covers for some reason, but wen I slip in my own notes hear and there,it starts clicking in my head. I love love love making my own music.
