Hello Jason. Been playing guitar for a long time and never been too much into heavy metal. I just turned 44 now... for the last few weeks i was allways listening in my mind some kind of metal riffs, like a mental creation...and then i found your channel...i am really enjoying to learn heavy metal Riffs/Lead now, and it feels great to push myself on doing something diferent. Just want to thank you and congratulate you for the great vídeos, like this one, and for the great guitar player you are. I will for sure learn a lot in here. Cheers from Portugal!!!
Heavy Metal & Weights is a great book. It’s a quick read but very informative and inspirational. I highly recommend it. I’m also a HUGE fan of Jason’s Metal Riff Master. It’s totally transformed my guitar playing. Support this dude, he’s the real deal. 🍻🎸🤟🔥
You know noodling is awesome. I started doing the same as you trying to play along with records many teachers disagreed guess what I played power chords and didn't know any chords. Learned 2 positions of pentatonic scale play those with back tracks. Wrote a few songs first heavy metal She's going to love you.
Hey brother. So funny I been watching your channel for months, never saw this video in my rotation just saw it this afternoon. Back story... We are about the same age. I have picked up and put down guitar maybe 15 times through my life. Never got the point where I could accurately pick the strings. I would always get frustrated after a two week stint. My muscle memory coordination is bad in general, have struggled with it my whole life, hand writing terrible, etc, but being able to play is something I've wanted to do since watching my buddies in highschool. After watching your channel for a while, I dusted off my rig and said this time it would be different. I'm going to pick up and down those fkking scales for 30 minutes a day every single day for the next year straight until my fingers learn where the damn strings are. That was a couple months ago, and sonnovabich, as of the last few days, my fingers are starting to learn. I can now mostly pick up and down a scale without a missed note. This is a massive accomplishment for me. Shred is a long way off, but I can pick notes to a jam track and that makes me super happy. Earlier this week, I'm watching one of your vids going "man, this dude is ripped, about my same age, wtf is my excuse". I'm not in bad shape at all, but I'm too lazy to hit the gym. So today I wake up and I'm like "fk it, I'm going to the gym. I know other dudes my age that are ripped and it starts somewhere." So there I am in the gym, a nervanna song is playing in the background, thinking it's probably not too hard to play, there is another dude across from me, about the same age, ripped as sht, and I'm like "I'm putting on some bulk and I'm going to conquer this guitar thing and that's just how it's going to be" .... and the thought crossed my mind, no sht, "I need to leave a comment for Jason sometime and tell him I'm getting back on both horses and that he inspired me", I also wondered how he got started, did he always lift, etc. I flip on ytube for some background while I'm doing mindless work and this video is the first thing to play. Like it was planned that way. It was exactly on point, and this is first time I realized you had your book. I'm going to get a copy. So anyway, I really appreciate you and your channel and your positive attitude and wanted to let you know you kicked my ass into action. Hopefully I'll be able to report back progress in a few months. Cheers bro!!
Dude, I really appreciate the kind words and glad to hear you've gotten back into both guitar and the weights! It's in our blood and part of who we are!
I love the way you explain stuff. I have for sure been improving since i been watching your video lessons. You are amazing ! Please keep making these videos sir. Been an amazing help for me
These are always great tips to keep revisiting. We all forget to practice on the things we are weak on and noodle our pracy time away. Thank you for your time and effort with this Jason!!
I just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration!!! I really feel like this video hit home!!! Got a lot going on in my life right now and definitely need to follow some sort of routine!!! It’s been very helpful,it’s up to me to take it from here!!!!!😎
1. I noodle over background tracks from 72 bpm to 144bpm. 2. I create my licks and riffs, record them in Audacity. 3. I write my tabs, settings of pedals. 4. Then I write an entire song with lyrics optionally. 5. I add bends, tremolos etc as 'Human Element' to final songs. 6. And then I record all songs, create an album. So far 5 albums of guitar instrumental music are published. I am 50 and started playing at 42 from internet help and books. Now I am doing 'Ear Training' to enhance my ability to understand musical notes. COVID reduced my weight by 11kg. I am still having issues of muscle strength. But it will take quite some time to regain the strength. Perhaps all strength might not come back...anyway I work out at home only in simpler way. I guess we are doing things quite similarly. Thanks for sharing all this.
Good stuff, and I'm a big believer in ear training and forcing yourself to trust your ears in regards to what's working and what's not. And the strength will come back!

I really appriciate the fact that you put forth the effort to help people out in every possible way that you know how to do. It hit me pretty hard just now when you said how we need to be consistant. Thats really all it comes down to. Ive never been one to make excuses and ill be the first to admit to being flat out lazy. I just turned 40 and i sware my waste thought it was supposed to turn 40 also. I need to get my shit together no ifs , ands, or buts about it. Thank you for the motivation and inspiration. I apologize for my grammar, i just cant seem to care at the moment. Keep Shredding my friend!!!! No pun intended!!!
Dude, it's so cool to hear this and you're right, now if your time to put things into motion and execute those ideas! More than often, that's the one thing that stands in the way...our lack of execution!
I have all the gear. Amps, guitars, plugins, pedals, this and that. But guess what, like a year ago I realized i was not even able to play to metronome. Playing for 20 years that was embarrassing. So I stripped my rig and play through a Marshall dsl1 combo. No pedals or stuff and a Boss metronome tuner. :D
Yeah, preacticing onto drum tracks is a lot more motivating. Exciting that Toontrack made EZDrummer 3. Looked at a few vids from RUclipsrs checking it out. It is better than EzD 2 was.
Yeah I need to upgrade. I only use it for writing purposes and videos though, and I don't dig deep into editing at all. When it comes time to record albums and releases, I've been hiring Cameron Fleury to record real drums and will also be doing work with Siren's drummer Ed Aborn.
You sir are awesome! I wish the world would be filled with more positive souls such as you! Regarding the best ways to practice guitar, you forgot to mention one of the most important ones - Practicing slowly! Seriously though, it took a while for my guitar teacher to really stick that in my head but now that I'm aware of the importancy of slow practicing my guitar skills have skyrocketed!
So happy to have found your channel. You're awesome and your content is exactly what I was looking for. I'm working through some other more traditional practice courses but have been looking for some metal in there too. Most metal lessons are either way over my head or well.. lacking. You hit that sweet spot. I'm finally riffing how Ive wanted to for a while. Cheers brother. Ima buy you a beer :)
Love this video, been playing for almost 3 years and still feel mediocre at best most of the time, hopefully having more structure to the routine will help
Just found your channel, good stuff man .. been all over the Internet watching different tutorials.. you are by far the best ! You speak my language and keep it real . Thank u
Just broke out off my rhythm block and started to play lead guitar and I love, just found your channel in the right time. Thank you very much for teaching it’s really good. I went from playing for about 15 to 30 minutes a day to several hours a day and find my fingers and joints hurting and skins on my fingers breaking off, could you do a video about hand care ? Thanks again you Rock!
Thank you and glad this helped. I have a video here where Nita Strauss shows me a great exercise for hand care (towards the end of the video): ruclips.net/video/iS5-rh0eZac/видео.html
I started playing several years ago and quit for several years which was a huge mistake because I'm having to start all over I'm obsessing to much with trying to get a metal tone I wanna sound heavy so heavy it hits you in the face lol also if I play metallica songs I wanna sound exactly like kirk and James or Pantera I wanna sound just like dimebag I know I can't because I'm me and there who they are so I get discouraged and stop playing for awhile I'm hard on myself to hard when I should be enjoying playing
I encourage to not worry about chasing someone else's sound. There's so much that goes into the final mixing and mastering that changes those initial guitar sounds, anyway. Instead, focus on developing your own sound and style.
Duuude number four really helped take a awesome chord progression into a great riff and I literally added another note with each chord like you said and it was better that's the best advice for me and thank you you really helped me thanks bro🤘
My latest lessons videos have tabs but these videos are more about the concepts. I also have a video on learning to play by ear without tabs here: ruclips.net/video/bTZjd3Nce5A/видео.html
Awesome video once again! Although I have to say I like those other videos where you have eye contact like you’re really talking to me… or the viewers. 🤘🤘🤘
Amazing Noodle . That’s the best way to learn put your hands on the guitar and play. My “practice” is my warm up finger per fret scales tap them out also down the neck not in a cage lol 👍🏼 Sick Trill on the tap example bro don’t think I’ve heard you use that one yet !!🤘🏻 I love that stuff big part of my behind the scene solos . All those years of bass playing get that finger strength. Mr Big is the best example of Trill by far . Billy and Paul best at it by far
@@jasonstallworth ya it’s something different for sure . I’ve been working stuff out in a 3/4 scale I picked up . Go from a six string bass to that the reach is crazy
I wish I could learn how to play. Had guitars all my life but can't get it, I am musically challenged, lol. This is John D. from your old employer. Great work Jason!
John, brother, great to see you on here! I do miss all of the folks we worked with there. You could nail this stuff...but it does take that consistent approach, 3-5 times a week. It's kinda like working out, which you're very familiar with!
Recently found your videos and wow, so glad I did, interesting ideas and concepts. A question for you, I can practice like a demon, no issue but what I'm really struggling with is creativity, playing along to a backing track, it used to be easy but now I seriously struggle, any pointers on how to help that?
Thank you. Backing tracks are great but I'd try coming up with riffs without it. Also, and this is huge, don't go for the same chords and notes you normally do. Stretch yourself and play in a completely different key. C sharp minor, for example. And see where you can take it.
Jason. Love your videos bro! Keep the coming! Don’t know if you tried this or not. For pinched nerves getting chiropractor adjustments work wonders. I used to compete in bodybuilding back in the day and it was a game changer. Thought this could help your recovery go faster. Keep shredding!
Yeah man, I actually had 6 chiropractor visits. They did helped some as well as the deep massage therapy. But what helped the pain go away fast was when I started taking ALA (alpha lipoic acid) - that provides oxygen to the nerve endings. The struggle beyond that was all of the muscle lost on that side! That was just cray ridiculous! It's coming back, little by little!
hey thank you Jason, since knowing your channel I've improved quite a lot (from your free shared riff lessons, from the free Metal courses you've sent as well as many sharing videos) Would love to see more tips/tricks on the EZ Drummer thing (i.e. create drum backing track for a specific song ....) - sorry I'm no-theory hobby-player XD
I do have a video that briefly covers pulling in drum loops from EZ Drummer below. And that's really all I do. I don't do any programming or anything close to that. I only use this as a tool for writing and for videos like this (for my albums or any project that I release professionally, I hire a real drummer) Here's the video: ruclips.net/video/RLsL6ZHjZbs/видео.html
Awesome Jason great tips! I like your suggestion to use a drum track with EZDrummer in Presonus Studio One. Plus you can record a full song too easily and EZDrummer I think has a beat match to your recorded guitar riffs.
Yeah, it's a great tool for practicing and for writing. I'll throw down loops for the initial song and that gives my drummer an idea of what I'm looking for when he lays the real drums down. (although I give the drummers that I work with free reign to do what they feel sounds best!)
Jason, you have been watching me… how did you know I poop at 2 daily?!! 😂. Well, you have a great video here hitting the highlights for sure! I would add that for me getting a looper pedal is also a great practice method for ALL of your 7 tips. This let’s you get feedback on your timing, let’s you hear what you sound like, and could even be a source for your gigs! Some really religious nerds (won’t name any LOL) even catalog their practice sessions with practice apps. Also, I use BeatBuddy and Aeros Loop Studio together…they are THE best way to practice.
Hey sir, I appreciate your videos, very very useful. I have a question, I have seen guitar players who lower the strap of the guitar to their waist, others almost have it on their chest, either of them works for me but when I do solos I feel a bit uncomfortable and I can't do them cleanly, what works better for you?
I've never been a fan of the strap being low. I think most did that for a certain look. That's fine if you're just playing a few chords but for soloing, you're probably going to want it up higher but not too high. Just adjust it to what feels comfortable to you. That's always going to be the way to go.
I just want to thank you Jason to be honest with you I'm beginner on electric guitar well pick back up to busy writing my music doing rythem mostly power cords that are powerful I wouldn't gotten better with out you're instructions and Ozzy iron maiden dio of course Randy rodes My hero thank you deathjeff
That’s awesome! I am a gym rat. I competed in bikini for years, and am adding on size to head to wellness division. Packing on legs. Brand new to guitar. Which program is best for me. I bought a Tele because I have no idea what I’m doing and going out to buy the esp you suggested. I will put the time in, but am clueless. I bought a Boss amp. Will I need a different one for my ESP guitar? I mostly want to play metal and I bought a Taylor acoustic to play some country. I look forward to your lessons! Thanks Jason, Heather 😊
That's awesome to hear you're into fitness! A Tele will work just fine, too (I have a few videos on here with me using my Tele for metal). Of course, the LTD/ESP will give you a little more bite, mainly due to most of them coming with active EMG pickups. The Boss amp should be fine, too, especially if it's the Katana with the many tone features. As far as programs, my Metal Guitar Apprentice course is where I recommend starting
Listen to Megadeth Dave uses a lot of upstrokes!! Sometimes the higher note sounding first allows it to ring out instead of the bass note drowning out the mid tone.
I have found out a problem with my Aria Pro II guitar on my thin E string. It clicks when I play it. I think it was badly setup when I took it to a guitar shop, it has a floyd rose so I can't sort it. Unfortunately I can't get it sorted at the moment, so I am back on my Ibanez. Problem is that my strings are a little high on my Ibanez and I am scared stiff about changing the height of them. However at least my E string sounds nicer.
@@jasonstallworth Yeh me too. Unfortunately my wife won't let me go to a shop at the moment, so I am playing my Ibanez instead at the moment, even though the strings are a little high for me. Just got the tools to lower them, but not had the guts yet LOL
Not necessarily a metal player.. more Jerry Cantrell.. Mark Tremonti.. Mike Mayok..style But I'm having issues with my ring and pinky speed or cohesiveness. My guitar is cheap and some frets are shot.. But I just cannot get my picking hand and fingers to get to speed fluidly. It's like it's not in my brain to work

We are about to Ride the Lightning. Everything is fading to Black. That's Metallica for you.You wouldn't believe I figured out how to turn a guitar into a Mic and play RUclips videos through the guitar pickups and put a delay sound to the voice. I can listen to RUclips videos at over 200 decibels and it sounds exactly like a PA system. I did this with a guitar also. I have to say everyone has shredded and played Rhythm. Everyone was like WTH when I Played Harley Davidson Edition. Pick scratch the 6th string then slap a finger down on the 3rd fret. Running in Tweed Fuzz neck pickup only then ease the pressure off the fret but strumming E&A strings you have cranked and are idling the bike. Slide that middle finger slowly down the fret board not fretting the strings but Harmonics can be noticed. This drives the Harley at idle speed around the parking lot on guitar a rev Bomb is a quick press down on the 3rd fret E&A then lightning fast to fret 22+ then back to 3 idling. Then to take off changing gears fret 3 E&A press down strumming fast then slide down the neck to fret 22 repeat 3 times then to fret 7 or 9 holding strumming then back to 3 idle speed. Everyone is like WTH they couldn't believe I figured that out. Tweed Fuzz Distorted concoction you can do a lot with that add delay it really gets crazy. Had Fun.
Drop D is much Darker sounding to me I like that as well ❤️🩹. A finger tapping excecise is I can tap two notes and at like fret 7&9 from the 1st string to 6th string making it sound like a chicken at the end of every string change I'm laughing

You know noodling is awesome. I started doing the same as you trying to play along with records many teachers disagreed guess what I played power chords and didn't know any chords. Learned 2 positions of pentatonic scale play those with back tracks. Wrote a few songs first heavy metal She's going to love you.
🤘🤘🤘
Dude this video was awesome! Thank you so much
🙏🤘
I like to use that noodle time going back and forth between scale patterns. Learning alot from ya Bro. Thank You!!!
Yeah, the noodling is definitely fun and you can come up with a lot of cool stuff just playing and not thinking about it.
What Jason sad is the right way I think, every day to use a little time to practice! Thanks Jason👍💪🤘😈!
Yeah, that little consistency each day goes a long way!
I know other dudes my age that are ripped and it starts somewhere."
So there I am in the gym, a nervanna song is playing in the background, thinking it's probably not too hard to play, there is another dude across from me, about the same age, ripped as sht, and I'm like "I'm putting on some bulk and I'm going to conquer this guitar thing and that's just how it's going to be"
.... and the thought crossed my mind, no sht, "I need to leave a comment for Jason sometime and tell him I'm getting back on both horses and that he inspired me", I also wondered how he got started, did he always lift, etc.
Been an amazing help for me
Thank you for this and more to come!
Words of wisdom here…. whenever I watch one of your vids I get inspired! Thank you!
Dude, that's awesome to hear...thank you!
These are always great tips to keep revisiting. We all forget to practice on the things we are weak on and noodle our pracy time away. Thank you for your time and effort with this Jason!!
Yeah it's easy to get caught up in just noodling! There's a time for place for it all.
Jason, just ran across your channel. Love your approach to teaching guitar. I taught myself this way as well....loyal subscriber.
Thank you, brother, I appreciate the sub
thanks man! inspiring video! Every Day I try to become a better guitar player thanks a lot
🤘
I just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration!!! I really feel like this video hit home!!! Got a lot going on in my life right now and definitely need to follow some sort of routine!!! It’s been very helpful,it’s up to me to take it from here!!!!!😎
It hits home for many of us, myself included! Glad this was helpful!
Thanks man, am like you i'wana play guitar, write music and books, and also gyming allthough i never trief the later
You can do it! It all kinda goes together! 🤘
@@jasonstallworth And here are the proofs. Take your time and verify. Thanks for you candor.

It's a great way to practice and I'm sure your timing is on point now!
I'm enjoying your videos. I'm going to sign up for your beginners course
Awesome and thank you 🙏🏻🤘
This helps a lot thanks
Yeah, preacticing onto drum tracks is a lot more motivating. Exciting that Toontrack made EZDrummer 3. Looked at a few vids from RUclipsrs checking it out. It is better than EzD 2 was.
Yeah I need to upgrade. I only use it for writing purposes and videos though, and I don't dig deep into editing at all. When it comes time to record albums and releases, I've been hiring Cameron Fleury to record real drums and will also be doing work with Siren's drummer Ed Aborn.
Cheers mate🤘😎 Really helpful 👍👊
🤘
Watched this on the bike at the gym after my workout before heading home to practice 💪 🤘
That’s the best place to watch videos…while doing cardio!!
Practicing slow at first can certainly help. My buddy talks about that on a video that’s being released tomorrow on my channel
Dude, thank you and I appreciate the beer!
Enjoyed your lesson. I am beginning in metal and getting 7 stringer on payday, looking forward to learning from you! 👍
Awesome to hear that! Ive got a video on the ESP here if you want to learn more about that one: ruclips.net/video/ORNzJtn1aQE/видео.html
these are good tips Jason I often feel stuck in my guitar playing having to remember certain notes and how to properly play them takes a lot of work
It's that consistency that we need...a little each day will go a long way!
Love this video, been playing for almost 3 years and still feel mediocre at best most of the time, hopefully having more structure to the routine will help
The structured sessions will definitely help! But it does kinda feel like a job at times!
Thank you buddy 🤟💞
🤘
Just found your channel, good stuff man .. been all over the Internet watching different tutorials.. you are by far the best ! You speak my language and keep it real . Thank u
Thank you, I appreciate that...and welcome to the channel!
Another amazing video and tips. Everything you share comes with passion and straight from your heart. Thank you Jason!
🙏 🤘
Just broke out off my rhythm block and started to play lead guitar and I love, just found your channel in the right time. Thank you very much for teaching it’s really good. I went from playing for about 15 to 30 minutes a day to several hours a day and find my fingers and joints hurting and skins on my fingers breaking off, could you do a video about hand care ?
Thanks again you Rock!
Thank you and glad this helped. I have a video here where Nita Strauss shows me a great exercise for hand care (towards the end of the video): ruclips.net/video/iS5-rh0eZac/видео.html
@@jasonstallworth thank you very much!
Can also use backing tracks off yt in different keys sounds cool
🤘
Love your work Jason... great job on your videos.
Thank you and glad this helped!
Great lessons thanx bud
🤘
Awesome content Jason. No 🍞 crumbs wasted. Picked them all up from the floor. You rock 🔥💪🤩
Awesome to hear that brother and thank you!
As always a fantastic video! You are the best! 3-4 days a week guitar and working out. Coinsidents?🤔🤔🤔
I DON'T THINK SO!
Thank you dude...it all works together!
Another great video Jason!!! Motivation LEVEL High 💪😃👌
🤘
Duuude number four really helped take a awesome chord progression into a great riff and I literally added another note with each chord like you said and it was better that's the best advice for me and thank you you really helped me thanks bro🤘
🤘
I really enjoying learning from you sir..But my humble request is display the tabs along ..pls 🙏😊
My latest lessons videos have tabs but these videos are more about the concepts. I also have a video on learning to play by ear without tabs here: ruclips.net/video/bTZjd3Nce5A/видео.html
I wish I had a guy like you local to me for lessons , love the video and the enthusiasm.
Dude, I do have online courses if that's something you're interested in: www.jasonstallworth.com/courses/
@@jasonstallworth I’ve been looking at metal apprentice corse linked in this video, how beginner friendly is the apprentice corse?
@@EricEdwards1 it’s actually for beginners teaching you the core fundamentals of metal guitar and very easy to follow.
@@jasonstallworth Thanks, I just purchased the corse and will be getting started in it. Rock On!
@@EricEdwards1 thank you for the support and hope you enjoy the course!
Awesome video once again! Although I have to say I like those other videos where you have eye contact like you’re really talking to me… or the viewers. 🤘🤘🤘
🤘
Amazing Noodle . That’s the best way to learn put your hands on the guitar and play. My “practice” is my warm up finger per fret scales tap them out also down the neck not in a cage lol 👍🏼 Sick Trill on the tap example bro don’t think I’ve heard you use that one yet !!🤘🏻
I love that stuff big part of my behind the scene solos . All those years of bass playing get that finger strength.
Mr Big is the best example of Trill by far . Billy and Paul best at it by far
Yeah, bass does build up finger strength like crazy! I always love that feeling of playing guitar after laying bass tracks all day!
@@jasonstallworth I can do that. Will be talking soon man. I am going to try to reach you.
@@jasonstallworth Glad to hear bro!
Ya..you rule
🙏 🤘
hey thank you Jason, since knowing your channel I've improved quite a lot (from your free shared riff lessons, from the free Metal courses you've sent as well as many sharing videos)
Would love to see more tips/tricks on the EZ Drummer thing (i.e. create drum backing track for a specific song ....) - sorry I'm no-theory hobby-player XD
I do have a video that briefly covers pulling in drum loops from EZ Drummer below. And that's really all I do. I don't do any programming or anything close to that.
I only use this as a tool for writing and for videos like this (for my albums or any project that I release professionally, I hire a real drummer)
Here's the video: ruclips.net/video/RLsL6ZHjZbs/видео.html
Awesome Jason great tips! I like your suggestion to use a drum track with EZDrummer in Presonus Studio One. Plus you can record a full song too easily and EZDrummer I think has a beat match to your recorded guitar riffs.
Yeah, it's a great tool for practicing and for writing. I'll throw down loops for the initial song and that gives my drummer an idea of what I'm looking for when he lays the real drums down. (although I give the drummers that I work with free reign to do what they feel sounds best!)
Love the channel brutha!
🙏🤘
Jason, you have been watching me… how did you know I poop at 2 daily?!! 😂. Well, you have a great video here hitting the highlights for sure! I would add that for me getting a looper pedal is also a great practice method for ALL of your 7 tips. This let’s you get feedback on your timing, let’s you hear what you sound like, and could even be a source for your gigs! Some really religious nerds (won’t name any LOL) even catalog their practice sessions with practice apps. Also, I use BeatBuddy and Aeros Loop Studio together…they are THE best way to practice.
🤣 🤘
Dude, I appreciate your comment and glad to hear my videos have helped you. Keep pushing forward!
What can i say? thank you so much jason 🙏🤘

Just Subsribed.Got no green but got Lots of Love n Prayers 4 You..Jesus is tha Rock...He is Metal. His Blood is IRON..Thanks Bro.
Thank you for the sub!
#7 is the best play out of the box in styles that are not the USSUAL also I would suggest a theory review so u know what works in what key
That's always been the most enjoyable method for me!
@@jasonstallworth thanks so much!
Listen to Megadeth Dave uses a lot of upstrokes!! Sometimes the higher note sounding first allows it to ring out instead of the bass note drowning out the mid tone.
Minor 3rds sound better with an upstroke!!
🤘
I have found out a problem with my Aria Pro II guitar on my thin E string. It clicks when I play it. I think it was badly setup when I took it to a guitar shop, it has a floyd rose so I can't sort it. Unfortunately I can't get it sorted at the moment, so I am back on my Ibanez. Problem is that my strings are a little high on my Ibanez and I am scared stiff about changing the height of them. However at least my E string sounds nicer.
Dude, I'd take that to a shop and see if they can set it up properly. I'm horrible with that kinda stuff!
Mike Mayok..style
But I'm having issues with my ring and pinky speed or cohesiveness.
My guitar is cheap and some frets are shot..
But I just cannot get my picking hand and fingers to get to speed fluidly.
It's like it's not in my brain to work
It could be the guitar. If it's not comfortable to play or doesn't fit your hands well, that can be an issue

Good stuff dude 🤘
This guy keeps rehashing the same things over and over again good grief give it a rest already
Dude, if the video isn't for you, no one is forcing you to watch it (this is the only complaint, btw)
