    One question suggestion..where the lines come out of the bars (top and bottom) shouldnt you use a rubber grommet in the hole...to prevent chafing from vibration?

    • @olivebeaut3681
      @olivebeaut3681 4 года назад

      Hi Robert, i agree with steve, does it come with a rubber grommet it will also pervent any water and condensation

    • @williamnixon278
      @williamnixon278 3 года назад +1

      I would recommend a sacrificial sheath(vacuum hose)
      For chaffing..
      Not sure about water incursion tho.

      Yes. But i like to know what type of lines they are… seems they are not steel but nylon. What is the difference in braking power and quality between steel and nylon? What about the life-cycle of those type lines? (think they are Russell) and, can this be done with steel lines? Russell lines do not meet DOT specifications. Are they safe in braking??

      @@HillCountryCustomCycles So I called the shop today to inquire about the lines and fittings. Not only would the salesman not give me any info, he told me I could only purchase these fittings with a pre-wired set of hellbents. When I asked if he knew a source where I could buy them he said no he couldn’t help. If Hill Country is installing them, how do they not know where to get them?!
      I’ve also seen HC respond to questions here saying to call the shop to inquire about it….what’s the deal?
