Talked to the Harley parts guy doing it for over 20 years. He pulled the Drag Specialties book out that showed the industry standard for measuring. Those Yaffe's if measured bottom of bar to bottom of bar at the top are a 16. Your adding an inch going bottom to top - its top to top or bottom to bottom, same measurement both ways.

I’ve heard people say that the Yaffe bars run taller than advertised, this video just proved it. Great video!!!

Very informative. I just installed a set of 14" Chubbys on my 2016 FLHR. I was looking for a full change out kit but couldn't seem to find it. I did, however order some parts from y'all. I especially like the top clamp you sell with the 3 set screws in it also. Definitely will help keep bars from moving.

Is there any way you could possibly show side by side face down on pullback for the badger bars, Even just a picture.
I’m conflicted between your Jarhead bagger , Hellbent bagger and LA chopper Twin peak. Thank you for the awesome vids and your time.

Great informative video!! I've been customizing my 1st bike sazuki Blvd c50 2006.... Currently I replaced with drag bars and last few months noticing friends with ape hangers are more comfortable.... Than my bars.. just sitting on their HD... your website is HD only? Or do you do metric bikes too... Thanks for your time

How do you measure pull back on a set a bagger bars? Is it the same as regular bars or do you count the bottom bend as well?

I thought your video was very helpful. Thank you.
I have a 08 road king with 12" Throttle by wire. I'm really not liking the Wrist angle or what you called pull back. The bars are more like buckhorns.
I'm looking to get some chrome 14" , 1 1/4, With minimum pull back or wrist angle Throttle by wire standard traditional ape hangers.
I will be giving you a call after the first of the year.

    On the jarhead bagger bars,
how much does the bend in the bar move the bars back? Not asking about how long the standard pullback is, the actual bend that makes it clear the faring, how many inches is that pullback?
I’m looking for something I can use on a custom faring and I’m wondering if these would work.
    Thanks.

Hey guys I bought this 12” DNA Monster Ape Hangers for my 2019 Street Glide Special, the problem is that bars came up to wide (42”) and can’t reach clutch and front brake...my question is if I can cut about 2 inches on each side of bars to make it a little more reachable and comfortable I’m 5.6ft and have to pull myself up front. thanks for your recommendation

Do all companies measure center width the same? What center width looks good on a road king. Thank you.

You should have had a bike there with apes on it for people who want to know how to measure their current bar height. On the bike.

What about the "dropdown" angle. The angle that the handle of the bar is to the main rise?

My biggest problem with the stock bars on my 2020 RK is that in the vertical position I like, the ends of the bars where the grips are angles up and with the pull back angle is a terrible wrist position. Im torn between trying the Wild One which looks to have a more horizontal grip section and the Hill Country bars which have a more downward angle as installed. Wish it was easier to try before buy on bars.

I just purchased that 19 softail deluxe and and trying to figure out how tall I want my handlebars. I had a 16 fat boy with 12" Mini apes on it and really liked that position that height and I wondering if I would need the same height handlebars for my 19 or would it be different because they redesign the chassis?

Hi robert, Dave here from Burleigh bars, Australia. We have stupid laws here in Australia to the Australian standard, most handlebars coming to the country on motorcycles are illegal. The law in Australia is 380 mm from the underside of the handlebar, to where you sit on the seat and the place really enforce it. It’s just revenue raising it’s a joke. Have you laws like that in America 1:07
