How much spice can you handle and what do you love most about ramen? Tell us 👀🥵
These noodles are mild compared to some sausages in Germany, go to Frankfurt, the chain is called "Best Worscht in Town" and from spiciness level C these noodles are history. Try it if you dare 😉
I'm a wuss, but my middle schooler is friends irl with smokin' ed. He eats reapers for fun. He's bonkers. 😂
Samyang aren't even that spicy for me so I say I'm good with spicy food
Eating a full shin ramyun already destroys my mouth
I like maruchan shrimp ramen.
There are two types of people, one who eats these noodles because they taste good, and people who eat it for the spicy challenge.
I enjoy food that has an element of challenge. Super sour, super spicy. Glutton for punishment 😂
We are both 🤭😂
I had no idea that there was a 3x spicy. 2x almost knocked me out.
There's an.... 4x version...
I'm native Korean. And I like spicy food. But I can't eat even just normal 1x one.
I found it great with the 2x to add coconut milk for a richer broth and it also turn down the heat a bit so its enjoyable..
Cant imagine eating the 3x raw
😮🔥🔥🔥🔥
3x is kinda the staple snack in my house. Good to share with family and the excessive spice tricks us into eating less than we could
@@123carth I'm Estonian, a country with a bad spice tolerance. But I somehow have a really great spice tolerance 🤭
Love the cabonara variant so much. Ate the 4x variant last week and had stomache pain the whole night, great stuff.
Sometimes you’ve just gotta do it for the experience 😭😂
4x is mala flavor isnt it? Its an unofficial 4x. Another commenter says the company said it wasnt 4x.
But cream carbonara is the best :3
I’ve been watching you guys for about 4 years now and you always make my day! Whether if it’s in the morning or at night you always put a smile on my face 🙂
You the real MVP! 🍜
@@JamesRaynerGBSokay damn, found yaaa 😉
We’re not crying…okay we are 😭 We love this comment. Thank YOU ❤
Had a buldak ramen noodles challenge back in college. Believe me, I kept a bucket next to my bed all night. Never again I'd ever do that.
Let me guess, it tasted really good but it was too spicy
@@MeowMeow-tl4xh exactly lol. As much as it's tasty, I'd never torture my poor tummy again.
These comments 😭😂💀
AshleyReinhardt
Reason why I prefer shin black ramen. Much tastier and it does not hurt to eat it. Carbonera was good but still doesn’t taste as good as shin black. Then there is the incredibly mild Nissin Raoh. Those are also better than Buldak.
so cool to see the people behind this great channel from time to time. y'all are the goats! thanks for coming back btw
We appreciate you 🫶🫶
ironicly I ate x2 buldak while watching this
Same
That R&D director seems like such a kind person. I just had 2x Buldak yesterday and it’s so delicious but so hot! I was sweating and crying 😅 It’s really popular here in Germany.
Yay glad yall back
I was half hoping Josh and Oli from Korean Englishman would join you guys for the tasting, as the creators of the fire noodle challenge.
Black Buldak for the win. 🇺🇸🤝🇰🇷
Instant Noodles is something the world needed but didnt deserve
The 2x is where it’s at
The normal is actually SUPER delicious!!!
Who’s having this for lunch? Me, lol. Granted I like the original heat the best and I don’t eat it plain. I add protein, veg, and some cheese on top. So yummy.
Instant noodles was my childhood, and now ramen is the reason why I'm addicted to spicy food. ;-;
I love this fried ramen!
Although I grew up through my entire life in Korea, 불닭볶음면 is insane for me 😂 well done guys!
Carbo is my fave. Yes its spicy but the creaminess of the carbo seasoning adds so much depth that i focus more on how the sauce is creamy rather than how spicy the noodles are!
2:11 Har har har har harrr har har har harrr 🐻
This made me laugh
Fredrick Fazberington IV
I wish they brought those Green Tanuki/Red Kitsune noodles into stores in our country
I ate the 2x, my stomach was burning but I survived it (without going to the bathroom). But I never want to eat it again. I’ll stick to the regular flavor, cheese, and Carbonara.
2:10 FNAF JUMPSCARE
The packaging is so bright and colorful, all the little characters and symbols make you want to eat this stuff.
This spicy noodle thing is now becoming a worldwide trend now!
Instant ramen was first invented in the 50s as a way to solve food shortages and the issue of preserving noodles. Now, since it has been introduced in Korea (something which was not covered previously, as that was about Momofuku Ando), it has transcended into a new meaning, became ubiquitous all around. By people who are interested in ramen, or those looking to push their limits in a spicy craze.
2:12 Freddy Fazbear had har harhar har har
I just watched this while eating the 2x one . I died😊
The toreador march playing in the background gave me a ptsd flashback I swear 😅
Even the Bhutanese are obsessed with these noodles and their famous flavors
I am not into spicy food, but if I found 'em here in my country,
I'll buy some to try out
the bright green black bean pack is what I can take... It's also he least spicy 😅
dang it i wasnt paying attention that they started to upload again for nearly a year... at least i found a new channel to sub to.
buldak just hits the spot 🥵
You should try Indonesian Ramen, particularly Indomie Goreng and Indomie Soto.
Was waiting for a shoutout to Josh and Ollie for popularizing thr Fire Noodle Challengeo 😅.
Did they ? I had no idea
How bout a little of the origin of the fire ramen challenge😅
i stayed for a very long time (silence for 5 seconds) 😂
nice
Instant noodles were invented by Momofuku Ando of Nissin Foods in Japan. They were launched in 1958 under the brand name Chikin Ramen. Not samyang
YAY
bro i will say korean instant noodles sure are tastier than a lot of the cup noodle ramens
You must try Indomie. Indomie have Indonesia recipe like rendang, rawon, dendeng, mie aceh etc
@@rantiamanda1342 ive only ever seen their mi goreng here in NA
I just want to say I do eat the 3x noodle for lunch. Usually a fried egg.
I would die in just 5 minutes if i do that!
You can thank, Anime foods, tik tok for everyone loving it haha ive grown up with Asian food but I haven't seen soooo many people into it, like this.. since everyone is following trends haha
Big fan of the Curry, Carbonara, and Black Bean flavors. I tried the 2x after every other flavor and it was not enjoyable at all. For the first time, I thought I had actually injured my tongue, like wound-pain level. Not spicy, but more like "oops, I just ate a razor blade."
Try the ghost pepper ramen from Malaysia 💀
The way he pronounced buldak made my ears twitch
I need 3x, 2x was nothing to me and it made me sad. The spice is life
Dear God I ate the cold version once with 2x spiciness. Literally tortured my belly & breathing feels like my throat's on fire despite being a cold Samyang Buldak.
I'm so glad you brought up mukbang because it is word from Korean which means to eat well or to eat a lot.
I like the chicken carbonera ones which are the pick package noodles.
I just got recommended a milk commercial before watching the video
GBS Nice
🌶️🍜🌶️
My guy ❤🔥
There's something wrong with that guy in the thumbnail. 🌶🔥
Why I hear Warthunder OST
FNAF SONG BROO
Holy white
Indomie is and will always be the king of noodles in the world.
Tried it once. Went to the bathroom straight after, and after….
Its very popular here in Kuwait
Im surprised. Do kuwait natives like spicy food a lot? Im not very familiar with your culture or cuisine haha
Kuwait has its natives and huge expatriate community. Its a very diverse place
Whoever has the will/like for spicy foods definitely like to punish their taste for themselves
It's "RAMYUN", not RAMEN.
Dunno bout you, but I realise there are three types of spice
There lingering spice, like Buldak
There's the furious spice, it simply hits you with those amount of chilis known like Sambal
There finally the deadly, just the chili, hit your mouth like hell and make the sensation just all of the above.
That’s instant noodles not ramen.
The carbonara flavor is AMAZING. I only have a pack left… should get more
Update: got another pack. I’m in buldak heaven.
Have you tried cream carbonara? Its even better
@@everythingsalright1121 I think it’s the same flavor!
This channel used to be one of the best on this site. Today it's a shadow of what it once was.
Is this a Samyang ad or what? The first instant ramen were created in 1958, Japan. In fact, the old owners of this channel knew this perfectly, since they explained it in the video "How Instant Ramen Became an Overnight Success".
I recommend watching that over this glorified ad.
womp womp
“But the Indian cook misunderstood”
ffs in korea it's pronounced "lamyun"
2:10 FNAF!?
I thought the founder of Nissin invented instant noodles?
Yes, instant noodles were invented in japan, also they seem to preparing them wrongly?
Put salt on your tongue. Works better than milk. Learned that in india
Please proofread your subtitles. Are you a casual/amateur RUclips channel or a professional one??
First ramen was produced in Japan in 1958
I wish instant noodles were healthier, deep fried food should only be eaten once in a while
Here where i am you can get oat instant noodles that are not fried. They have a bit of a diff texture and taste but theyre great cuz they dont come with seasoning, theyre plain so you can make your own recipe
I miss the old GBS video style. This is so cringe now.
For someone who grew up eating ghost peppers, it has always been strange to me people find these noodles spicy...
under 60s
Instant ramen originated in JAPAN
You are totally right! We meant to say Samyang made Korea's first instant ramen in 1963. It was in the script - I promise!
You'll be surprised the number of times you can watch an edit and it go unnoticed. Apologies! ❤🚀
Oh. This channel used to be informative. Now it’s tiktok challenges. Good luck with the populist devolution, kids.
Last weeks video was on boat restoration in Hong Kong. We do it all!
There's something for everyone 🎉
I wish they'd make non spicy flavors. Even the carbonara is too much for me.
It didn't make the cut, but we tried the Carbonara flavour first, and it surprised us how hot it was!
It definitely took the edge of the 3x. I think you've probably experienced the right level of heat haha
Yeah, no thanks. I can't stand super spicy food.
too bad they are chicken noodles, I tried their regular black package and the only thing stopping me was their awful taste. I love ramen noodles and am more of a Nong Shim or Daifuku fan but they need to get some beef, pork or seafood flavors with that heat rating. 13,000 scovilles isn't even hot. there are hotter noodles out there. Save your time and money and just go to a local super market and get a birds eye chili pepper. It's 100,000 scovilles the last time I checked or see if they have any habaneros or anything hotter to see how much you can take.
Each their own i guess. Lots of people here in the comments including me enjoy their flavor especially spicy chicken cream carbonara
2:12 har har har har har har har fnaf
3:23 The secret ingredient in Samyang products must be hair, I see no hairnets in use here.
Pretty sure that’s not the factory but the research lab.
cancer in a bowl, beyond poisonous but I'll be damned if it isnt delicious (shin ramyun best ramen of all time)
Under 20s gang
Well I am 20 so sadge.
Did not realise it's a ultra processed food... Wich is the worse kind of food
As a general rule of thumb, all mass produced food is heavily processed to preserve shelf life.
Not all of us wanna be super healthy :v
I hate spicy ramen
masidda~
The 3x knocked me out for 10 whole minutes
The first instant ramen was produced in Japan in 1958 by Momofuku Ando for the Nissin company. Give credit where credit’s due.
