For some reason RUclips neglected to tell me about this being uploaded. Fortunately I caught the Actual Astronomy Podcast with you on it. Highlight of my winter astronomy given how bad the weather's been.
Great thanks - looked amazing, I'm very jealous :) As an idea, would you consider putting a kit list of the main equipment used in each of your videos so we could understand what you are imaging with? I think that it could probably be found in previous videos but people who need to know where to look.
I really need to do this sometime, but I'd probably just take a good pair of bino's, deck chair and a six pack. One thing I would suggest is a link in your description to the Patreon page and a $1 tier. I see a lot of people do a $1 sub as a thanks for the videos with nothing expected in return.
Great video Mark! very informative. I got some pointers for objects to look at thanks to you :) BTW I have the same mount it is really very good, I got a good deal on a used Orion ED80 and have started using that scope on the Az-Gti in equatorial mode, it works a treat!
@@RefreshingViews it's better than I expected it to be, I don't guide and still get around 30 sec exposures with nice round stars. The only issue is that the Skywatcher wedge is no good I had to get the Williams optics wedge.
Hi Barry - thanks for your comment. It’s my relatively affordable Player One Saturn M - mono as it’s my solar camera (not that we’ve seen the sun) with 3008 x 3008 pixels.

Glad you enjoyed it. Gosh this winter weather is awful isn’t it? I think we’ve gone straight to autumn now!!

Will do Andy - another video is in the works and I’ll make sure it’s included.

You’re right, watching the milky way rise over the sea in the small hours was amazing!
These observational videos are really interesting. Thank you.
Glad you think so!

Glad it was helpful, Ziggy. How is it in eq mode?

Very nice. Which scope did you bring?

What camera are you using Mark - I tried the other night using a ZWO120MC - it was traumatic and confusing! Great vid by the way!

Neat.
Thank you!
