DC, I am an ole bass angler. I go back to the days when Ray Scott was just getting started to make his dream happen. In fact I helped him sign up bass clubs in New Jersey in the early 70's. I've said that just to let you know my passion for the sport. And you son are a breath of fresh air, you and your pals are just what the sport needs. The reason I like you so much is the fact that you know how to fish, yes even without the forward facing equipment. I am not a fan of that technology. Your passion and dedication really shows, not to mention your sense of humor. So stay level headed and never forget how so many look to you for advice and to learn. That son is a tremendous responsibility. One day I would like to meet you. I live in East Tenn. .now and at my age now I don't travel much. But if you are ever in my neck of the woods I would love to meet you. Stay safe..
Just a kid living his dream! Love to see it DC huge fan and just recently got into bass fishing. I only fish ponds & small small lakes in a Kayak. I just caught my PB (5lb 13oz) 2 months into fishing on the freeloader gizzard shad. My favorite bait jerking it around the ponds in Woodlands Texas! Your videos are fantastic Cheers mate!

Christie just fished the Classic on his “home lake” and didn’t place top 10. Fishing is always a challenge, you still got to catch them and make the decisions to put yourself in the best position possible to catch them! Lay Lake or not you caught em and put your name in the history books, respect the grind and knowledge you share!

This is video is awesome. I really enjoyed hearing the psychological side and the many ways you had to adapt to the water. Even though it was your home lake. It seemed like it showed you something different during RedCrest.

Im just a nobody and i dont wanna tell you how to do your jobs but Brett should consider reaching out to Flinter. Hes another youtube content creater but he dedicates his 2 channels to hunting a fishing. Specifically Call of the Wild- The Angler and Call of the Wild. I could see a partnership or collaboration to bring out the younger generation that maybe you cant get too someway on youtube but can through gaming, they already love fishing/hunting, deer hunting specifically but from maybe a different eye. Flinter has 200k subs and i think that would bring more attention to your channel from different ways like gaming. The gaming community is massive, Its the biggest fishing video game out there. Maybe give it a try . Just a thought DC because i think if more people saw your chanel you would blow up huge. I love watching you after work, but then i go play xbox with my daughter and do some fishing on The angler when we cant get on the boat. It would really get your name and Crush City out there too
