Thanks Aaron for reviewing the Linkbuds Open. I used the original Linkbuds daily and have upgraded to the Linkbuds Open. For me the sound is alot more fuller and am enjoying the increasaed battery life. The re-design sits more comfortably in my ears but the only downside is that sweat can get stuck inbetween the earbud and the wingtip skin/cover. The Linkbuds Open isn't for everyone but I prefer it over other open style types.
If y'all ever wonder which one of the is a bang for bucks... Linkbuds S is a clear winner, future proof, great and smooth ANC, decent sound and especially Maintenance Friendly. I've been changed my linkbuds battery once and IT'S AS GOOD AS NEW🔥🔥 no more battery issued or so and works like a charm👌🏼💫 almost 8 months going strong with the new battery💪🏼
I use the first version of the LinkBuds Open - they are a fantastic work from home headset that you can leave in all day. I alternate the buds so I get all day battery life by just swapping them over (left right). The new ones sound like they've got built in machine learned voice isolation. So it's as good as the Air Pods Pro but no need for an iPhone / MacOS. The ideal work solution.
I asked for the Linkbuds S for Christmas. I was already aware of the battery issue but i understand that not all buds are affected and i can get a 2 year warranty for them. I also heard it's pretty easy and cheap to replace the battery yourself so if it's a problem after this time, hopefully it won't be too difficult to fix. But from what I've seen, it seems like if the buds i get aren't affected, then they'll be fine for a very long time. after the 1 year mark I didn't see many people saying they have this issue anymore. I guess if it's faulty, it's going to show up fairly quickly. Some places even offer 3 years warranty. I have very small ears so my options for in-ear headphones are very limited and so far I've never actually found a pair that fit properly. I'm hoping the Linkbuds S will be better for this. Otherwise I'll have to try really cheap and bad sounding in-ear headphones because that's literally the only affordable option and i have seen some different brands recommended. Over ear headphones are so inconvenient most of the time so i really don't want to have to rely on them instead
Is your comment of "No, No" for the linkbuds S anything to do with the fact that one of the earbud batteries loses its charging capacity and renders them useless after around 12 months...I don't hear any reviewers mentioning this very common fault with the Linkbuds S.... if it wasn't for this fault, I really like the linkbuds S....
But it has improved a lot compared to the previous one . Linkbuds open It's worth it compared to your previous model. I use both models interchangeably. When I'm at work and need silence I use the fit, most of the time I use the open. It's worked for me.@@aaronloudnwireless
Dude I used the LinkBuds S for more than 1 year and 2 huge problems bothered me a lot. The fit and the battery life. The fit was absolutely horrendous no matter what size tips you use and also I tried buying 2 different tips but even they didn't help. The earbuds would fall out so so many times and I would constantly have to push them in while eating food even. The fit was absolutely horrible on those ,even though the small size of the earbuds would suggest otherwise.
For small ears the linkbuds S are more comfortable. The fit hurt unless I wear it loosely but they fall out. The fit has better sound and longer battery life.
I have the linkbuds open for a week now and they exceed my expectations in terms of sound quality and volume (especially compared to the og linkbuds) But even though they fit my ears great i can see they haven't thought about the different sized ears. The wingtips where bad as they broke easy just by removing and reattaching them a couple of times (to clean the buds) but the wing on these is just 1 size. I have asked how the mic quality is and the people i mostly talk to told me that i sound much better in comparison to my mbux systems and to the elite 5 buds. But when the wind goes to the mic they can't hear me. I agree that the fit is the more complete option as they sound better and can fit more people because of the different size eartips. The open is just for people who like or need to hear everything while having them in. In my case they are worth every penny as I'm a driver and i like to listen to music on longer trips or sometimes need to make a phonecall but also need to listen if the passengers want or need to talk to me. I can almost whisper and the person on the other end can still hear what i say. The price is the same only because the open has a ring shaped driver which costs more to produce as it's a niche compared to the normal circular drivers.
@@aaronloudnwireless you're welcome but in my page long comment😅 i forgot to thank you for your in depth review🙏🏽 I was waiting for your review especially for the fit as I'll most likely get them for my mother to replace her linkbuds s.
Why No to Linkbuds S, I really do not see any really point to spend more for the other Sony's as Linkbuds S can offer almost everything a user really needs for a TWS, such as good call quality and very fair music quality especially if Eq, for the price of course.
I had LinBuds and battery on right bud died after 14 months. So I bought LinkBuds Open. My sister doughter had LinBuds S and after 13 months battery on left bud died so she got LinkBuds Fit. Battery problem of LinkBuds and LinkBuds S is the main reason not to buy them although LinkBuds S has better NC.
@@tomo100brt Yes indeed mine too, I replace for free so now I gonna wait till they get off again. The only one which I may choose is the Huawei as the call quality is the most important factor for me.
Thanks Aaron appreciate the comparison. I personally don't find Ben's voice to annoying it's all of the sponsor ads he does that bugs me. 😀 I like the design of the Fit but there's a lot of competition in the mid-range market it's definitely the sweet spot for me. 💯🙏🇺🇸
I still use my linkbuds s. You are right. It doesn't feel secure, but they haven't fallen out, maybe due to their deep insertion. I also where gloves when working i guess they use a tap instead of touch not sure but it works with gloves

deeper insertion is realy much more better. i do much agree with
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The insertion is too deep that i can feel the music coming through my nose
do you prefer the linkbuds fit or the jabra elite 10 gen 1 ?
Tks for the review, i just start trying the sony linkbuds fit this week against my jabra elite 8 active gen 2 😊
Have fun!

That is indeed a great way to get all day battery 👍🏻
If you want to do a comparison, do it for similarly priced ones you would say “yes, yes” to.

LinkBuds S is indeed more snug
sony linkbuds fit vs pixel buds pro 2?
Which one has better sound (including bass) and comfort / fit?
LinkBuds S best fit ever.
It’s tight and snug
very nice, but a big shame about their very common battery fault where 1 side stops holding charge after about 12 months
can we send it back if we still have warranty?
for me the LinkBuds S had horrible horrible horrible fit

Awesome video!!!
can you compare the sony linkbuds fit vs soundcore sport x20?
Do you know when LinkBuds Open will be available in retail in Singapore? I only see it on Sony Store. Nice video btw!
Thank you! I don’t have visuals on when it will be available to general retail stores.
Denon PerL Pro on Pixel 8 Pro only aptx😢 352kbps. Better guality sound have Sony linkBuds fit on LDAC 660-990kbps?
should i buy these or bose QC 2024 for small ears?
Are Ssssssibilance in check? No metallic sounds?
Which one?
@aaronloudnwireless thank you for the reply aaron, the fit
Can you make a comparison video between Sony Linkbuds Fit and Pixel Buds Pro 2?
Compared to the linkbuds s does the fit provide similar ANC or lower?
Linkbuds S still has the ANC more better now
Aaron, Thank you very much!
You’re welcome!
Had to RMA my Linkbuds Fit, had a horrendous whistling noise with the ANC on, like a hearing aid noise. Seen a few reports online about this too.
this (rarely though) used to happen on my LinkBuds S as well.
Link buds fit vs OnePlus buds pro 3?
16:51 Did you really complain that "Open" does not support ANC? 😂
Thanks for the reviews, don't get why you got emotional at the last part, anyway ~ thanks again good work 👍🏼
