I'd say Peace Sells next as that's the other one deemed to be their absolute best but I don't think you can go wrong anywhere up to Cryptic Writings. I'd love you to try Deliverance by Corrosion of Conformity, Southern, bluesy Sabbathy metal if you've not ventured down that path yet. Merry Xmas.

Its him with cameos on every tune. Max cavillera (spelling?) being one of them. Start to finish is best and there is a hidden tune on the end. Heavy heavy metal it is geez. Keep it up butt. “Rust in Peace” Megadeth’s technically best Thrash metal album and for many fans, normally their favorite album. The top three early Megadeth albums, in order of release, “Peace Sells…. Who’s Buying”, “Rust in Peace” and “Countdown to Extinction”. You have just finished RiP. If you’re looking at staying with Megadeth, I would suggest “Peace Sells” next. The second album was released in 1986. Thrash was still in its infancy. This album sounds different than RiP because another guitarist and drummer were playing on the album. The lyrics are a bit darker. The music a bit rawer. “Countdown to Extinction” is a little more radio friendly. Thrash…. Heavy Metal…. Marty playing many of the solos. It’s top album for many people, but not the same as RiP. If you decide to continue with Megadeth or check out another Thrash band next, looking forward to your reaction.

I also grew up on every band you mentioned.... except for Megadeath and I'll be honest other than their famous tracks....not many Metallica songs, all the others, I listened to like crazy, I think because you were either a Megadeath fan or Metallica growing up so I just kept neutral 😂

You forget, I've had to break it down over weeks, without going back to listen to any of the songs in case I heard one I've not heard 😂 so yeah 8 out of 10. It'll either go up or down depending on listen through's in the future 💪🏻

Go back and do "So Far So Good....So What" and "Peace Sells ...but Who's Buying" before you move forward to do more Megadeth albums with Marty Friedman. For me, Megadeth started to lose its point of difference with Marty and this album. I much prefer the more chaotic dual guitars on the previous albums with Jeff Young (SFSGSW) and Chris Poland "PSBWB"
