    well this is unexpected, i also trying to build my own high frequency inverter, well most component are the same.
    what frequency did you use for stage 1 with that winding configuration? is it standart 35khz or reaching more, like 60khz, and for the lpf inductor, is the value also the standart 2-3mH? and what enameled wire diameter did you use?

    I don't understand. Why is Batt- connected to the transformer Center tap, the Batt+ to all Drain and mosfets Source to the transformer alternate windings?

    Realized its still going to function the same. But i am used to a conventional design of Batt- to all Mosfet Sources, Batt+ to Transformer Center tap and alternate transformer windings to Mosfets either Drains.

      The biggest benefit here is that you don't need to insulate the MOSFETs from each other. You only need to use a single aluminum heatsink.

      However, if we set up the MOSFETs this way, we cannot drive the MOSFETs in the usual manner. Therefore, we need to add a small transformer (GDT).
