It hurts a lot when a team member joins and then learns & leaves, but are you doing everything and enough to retain them?
Retaining your top-performing employees is crucial because if they leave, that will impact the overall growth of the organization and nobody wants that.
And if you want continuous growth for your organization, you need to keep them as long as it makes sense. If your employees are aligned with the vision that you have created for your organization then it would be easier for you to work with them, and when these employees leave it is very hard to build everything from scratch.
So before you cry about employees learning and leaving, check out a story from my own organization and check what YOU need to give for your employees to find the value to stay and contribute.

    Hello Rajiv,
I follow you and apply your advices in my business. I personally find you the best to follow for Business Gyan, One doubt is there about recruiting freshers that you sometimes says that we are not the university that pay and teach the person and we need to hire experienced people.
While in this video i have seen that you have groomed Naveen. So let me know on which position and in which condition we should hire freshers or experienced people.
Would love to hear it in your next video.
    Thank you
    Vinod Gajjar

Any role which requires results immediately, you need to hire experienced people and any role you are ready to give it's time to get those results hire freshers and train them.
      Hope this helps.

In the beginning stage of a micro business company or shop, its not possible to give this many layers of projection to a basic employee. What you said may be ok for msme or sme. In small scale business in rural area itself the freshers ask for 8k or 12k or even more not realising the potential of the market or nature of the business.
Practical issues are quite different from the content of the training program. However the method of how to do has definitely given some valuable insights. Ofcourse Rajiv is one of the best business coach in India who actually knows what exactly is required for you to know.

Recently i was talking to my decade elder friend, about my fear of ending up with mediocre people. She replied an advice that built confidence in me. She said "if you find mediocre people, then teach them to improve and be a quality person"

Worthy Suggestion, we cannot get rid of such people, we coming forward with much more such and grooming or guiding them is a good thought...

Its really interesting when a Business Leader/ Owner says that "I pay you to work" and then complain that the employee is leaving for "Better pay". Hypocrite or just simply stupid?
