I use iMovie on MacOS.

Do I need to worry about copyright strikes?
For music, no. For clips of media, that’s a yes. For example, my Voltron video received a Copyright Strike because I used clips that belonged to Netflix. It was only after I went in and re-edited the clips in a quicker progression that it was able to go up.
That’s why fast editing can be useful in music videos. The copyright system is weird. It’s best to create a second private channel where you test the copyright status of your video before uploading it to avoid a strike on your main channel.
