Pearsall has a ton of talent but is really a slot. Will it really fit in the Smith system?
Im with DB on Mcmillan. Maybe even a touch more than he on Polk. I haven't yet seen the Steelers show enough intetest in either.
Legette is my preference. Even though he still needs refinement? What he already does well fits well with what a #2 will do in this system. He has the size and speed for the outside.

I have about 60% pick swap with Green Bay (20/51 for 25/41) and landing Adonai Mitchell followed by Zach Frazier. If we keep Dan Moore, grab CB and DL in 3rd, Khyree Jackson 4th, grab Josh Proctor in the 6th. Wouldnt hate that draft haul

Im not drafting a WR early. We are a run team now. Thats what Smith does. I expect to see IOL, DL, and CB in the first 4 picks and one of those will get double dipped.
Totally disagree about the reason for low WR trade values.
I'd argue the reason is the dollars they want I free agency combined with the ability of a better QB to make a WR look better. (Yes, it goes both ways but a WR with great numbers wants a record setting contract and teams with good QBs can't pay both and be competitive.

I think the best value is either Jalen McMillan or Tez Walker in the 3rd, been seeing them fall to the 3rd pretty often and they would both be long term #2 options

With all the two high coverage schemes taking away the deep routes your seeing the TE becoming the money position! Smith’s offense a lot of course and corners and dig routes Legget would be a solid pick!

Don't get FOMO on the WRs! A decent pick will absolutely be there in the 3rd round...The WR class is deeper than the OT's and Center's combined! (if you just really need a WR2)

We shouldn't draft a wr this year. Triple up on DT, cut Ogunjobi, and sign Boyd as a #2 with the cap savings. Run Moore out there for one more year and draft a center at 119.

Antonio Brown was the 6th round pick that nobody wanted with obvious character issues who became the best receiver of the 2010s in the entire NFL.
Cam Heyward and TJ Watt were both viewed as potentially decent players who fell into the 30s of the first round, and developed into All-Pros.
Maurkice Pouncey, Le’Veon Bell, David DeCastro, Javon Hargrave, Martavis Bryant, Mike Wallace, Ryan Shazier, and several others-all had their best years as Steelers or developed here before they couldn’t afford them because they had too many talented players already paid at their positions. And NONE of them were top 10 picks.

@@LockedOnSteelers So you have to be a top 10 pick to be an elite talent? Tom Brady is the greatest QB EVER… taken in the bottom rounds of his draft. There are too many to list but I make him because he is the greatest example. What he had was in him before he got to New England. They just brought it out. These guys you named are all elite athletes. And for the record 99.999% of them came thru Tomlin’s grasp without making it past the first round of the playoffs.
