    Hello, in the proof of the theorem you don't even need the uniform convergence because the functions sin(x), sin(2x), ..., 1, cos(x), cos(2x),... form a complete orthonormal system.

      And exactly this last statement (about completeness) we don't know yet. In fact, we want to prove this by using this formula here :)
