I love how Daniel just absorbs all the information and history of the places he enjoys! I bet he never dreamed he would end up seeing the world when he was in the orphanage all those years!
Not directly related to this video per se, but Esther is growing into such a delightful young lady. She is always cheerful and smiling (on camera at least), she's so patient, caring and helpful with the younger children and as if that isn't enough, she is beautiful too. You must be so proud of her.
Daniel is always such a wealth of knowledge about EVERYTHING. He seems to have such a zest for knowing 'all the things.' I love it! Thanks for sharing!
My youngest daughter has autism, she loves watching your videos. Megan is her favourite and she thinks she needs more screen time, hehe. She thinks you are wonderful parents because you keep the kids safe from danger and sadness 💜
Your videos are some of my favorites. I think it's awesome that you try and emerge yourselves in the local culture. The vlogs are beautiful. This is the kind of thing I hope to do in two years when I get out of high school. You're vlogs are such an inspiration.
What a wonderful surprise to see you visited this castle! My husband and I took a trip there when we were anxiously awaiting our first "phone call" and needed something else to look forward to in our days. Three months after our return we welcomed our daughter...and then a son...and then twins! Thanks for bringing back the memory of a time when we longed for the family we are now blessed to have! Take Care!
So beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing!! The older boys have grown so much since the start of your journey... I enjoy watching this loving family!! Eve always puts a smile on my face. You have such wonderful kids.. cant wait to see your next outting!! Take care and be safe!
I feel like im apart of your family and I'm taking this journey with you i absolutely adore ur videos i learn things that i didn't know ur video's give me hope and inspiring me to travel and live life
Is it weird that I am simultaneously SO excited for your future adventures and explorations but I don't want you to leave France either?! It will be so great watching you guys experience Ireland, it is truly magnificent and beautiful (and you must eat all of the scones with jam and cream!) I really recommend the older kids get a chance at hiking around the Cliffs of Moher, it was incredible.
My favorite family😊always praying for all of you. Man I would love to try the bread from France. Oh by the way, I work at a hospital and I tell all my patient's about your family. Way better than regular TV. more subscribers coming your way.💛
Bob Shaw ohhh even better. No preservatives in it. I've learned how to make some bread because I don't trust the bread they sell in our markets here in Cali. But I would LOVE LOVE some bread and cheese from France. 😍
Yay! I am so excited!!!! I checked earlier and hoped you would upload today. Slow internet or busy day? I hope all is going well! That tower is also my favorite part of that chateau. And to see DaVinci's "house", that's so cool! I would love to see them in person. I only have one child, but I know that when she was younger it was difficult to take her on tours, the attention span is just too short and I am one of those walk slow, absorb, and linger tourists...
Great video! Thanks for showing details so that we could enjoy the sights too. So funny Megan, "you'd think they would have REMEMBERED that 500 years IN THE FUTURE" - hahaha....that was priceless.
It is crazy how I look every day to see if there is an upload. I am not subscribed to many RUclipsrs, so for me it is excited to see a new video. I do however understand that it is hard for them to upload. Love seeing the family and they are doing a great job, giving many people peace, and love!!!
Ahh we went to the Loire valley 3 weeks ago and went to that chateau. Beautiful, but by little kids (7 twins) were like Eve and Jude.....No more tapestries and old furniture !!! They loved the water mist cooling shower things tho. Enjoy !
Me and my family recently drove to Spain from our home in the UK, we stopped in The Loire Valley for 2 days and visited Leonardo da Vinci's home too!! It was absolutely beautiful! I love watching your family travel and discover new things, it feels like were travelling with you 💖
Now that you know about baguette tradition, hère are other simple food you absolutely have to try, Beurre salé "grand fermage" salted butter that you can find in supermarket. "Saint nectaire fermier" it's a cheese. Fermier means from the farm so you will only find it in cheese Shop and at the market. The other one is "mont d'or", this one you can find in supermarket. In cheese Shop buy the little ones, they are the size of a hand.otherwise I'm sure you have already tried saucisson. Bon appétit.
That chateau looked so familiar.... and then I realised I've been there about 15 years ago as a kid! I remember in the tower they showcased the fairytale of sleeping beauty. Did you guys see this? It is said the author of sleeping beauty was inspired by this castle. Anyway awesome to see your kids are experiencing Europe!
My husband and I traveled to both Chenonceau and Amboise a few years ago (and in the same day). It was probably one of our favorite days from our entire month-long trip to Europe. I've been really anxious since we live in Central Florida and are about to be hit by Hurricane Irma. I really enjoyed watching your video; it made me relax a little bit.
Mike , I was wondering did the suit case you left behind in New York City ever get sent to you? Also did your eye glasses ever get sent to you? What a beautiful Chateau ! Thank You for taking me along. Old time architecture just boggles my mind how they were built way back in the day before modern mechanical machinery used during the construction of buildings etc. etc..
I'm sure it's just in the small clips we see but it seems like Esther does a lot of the work and carries a lot of the stuff. Would love to see the older boys helping out more! I'm sure it can get tiring for her sometimes.
Glad these places weren't busy - they were so crowded last month ! If you have time before you leave France, go visit the Puy du Fou park. Rated one of the best amusement parks in the world. The kids will absolutely love it !
Thank you for sharing....I love the chateau and the lake and gardens surrounding it. Beautiful! What's is the artist and name of the song you played in the maze? It's one you use often and I really like it. Btw Megan, I love your green dress, it was super cute!!!!!!👍😃
Oh no! Is that a crack in the windshield? One of those little frustrations in life. Well it doesn't diminish the beautiful view! Enjoying your journey with you!
Yay love this video! We are visiting in October. Glad the transition has been good for you guys. My husband is nervous about driving to the Loire Valley... (We live in CA) I am going to show him this video ....if Mike can do it driving the van with 9 kiddos we can do this 😄. So happy for your family. I really enjoy your videos.
Now that you've been in France for a month are your plans still as set as before or would you ever consider changing plans and coming back to the states?
Hi Knorpps from Meridian! Love watching your adventures, but especially love the clip at the beginning of Eve and the alligator! I giggle EVERY time!!! Layne Green is still in Germany....you should get in touch.
Hey Knorpps, could you please put a note in the subscribtion about the music you use? The songs from today and the video before fitted like gloves on your videos. 😎
So glad that you are back. Sorry that you are having a difficult time with the uploading of the vlogs. Have fun and hope that things are going well for all of you!!
As you guys were walking into the castle (11:08), there is a man wearing a blue Olympia, Washington t-shirt. Gotta keep an eye out for those things because I bet he spoke English and would have been interesting to talk to!
I am new to your channel and can I say how well behaved and we'll mannded your children have I have all ready to start watching the next new video and see where you guys all end up at x
You look so elegant in your beautiful dress Megan! Beautiful tour, but I was so looking forward to seeing more of the DeVinci inventions and home and it ended after seeing the first one. :(
Awww... u went to Chenonceau. This was one of my favourite chateaus! It was fun for me to see Chenonceau again. The first time I laid eyes on it I thought it looked magical. The castle, the gardens, the river running under the castle ... so lovely. Hope the kids had fun at Clos Lucé. There were lots of school children visiting when I went. Seemed like there were lots of things for kids to do there both inside and out. If you decide to go back to the Loire Valley: Amboise Château (in the middle of the charming town too) was small, had a cute chaple (the resting place of Leonardo da Vinci), very high up with a pretty view of the town and river. Place to relax for a picnic lunch?! Should be easy parking (big parking area) next to the river and directly across from Amboise. Chateau de Langeais - has a drawbridge, smaller compared to some château, and town is right next to it. From memory it was not busy & lots of parking available for a big vehicle. Chateau de Cheverny - beautiful home, interesting children's rooms, nice gardens, the kids might like the dogs: more than hundred tricolor anglo-french dogs live at Cheverny. Go at feeding time! and great areas for a picnic. I enjoyed the large gift shop too! Bought beautiful aprons there for friends. Villandry Chateau has lovely fruit, vegetable and flower gardens. My suggestions (take it or leave it) have a guide (if an English speaking one is available) take you around the château ... it might make it more interesting for everyone, and how about an older child pair up with a younger one (for an hour) to give Dad & Mom a break? Thanks for another enjoyable video. Blessings 💖 💕
Some of the music you used is the same as the video you made at Ecola State Park, I remember because that was one of my favorite videos you made. I find that video so inspiring.

Are you guys planning to get up to Paris before you move on to Ireland?? If you can make it to Nice you must go! Nice is beautiful will an interesting history and you can easy get to Monaco and take a ferry out to the prison that the Man in the Iron Mask was held on. One of my favorite memories while in France and Nice.
I think I've said this on every vlog so far but you need to visit mt Saint michel! it's absolutely amazing, just google it and you will fall in love. It's a twelfth century monastery on an island it's spectacular.
I love how Daniel just absorbs all the information and history of the places he enjoys! I bet he never dreamed he would end up seeing the world when he was in the orphanage all those years!

Eve was cracking me up in this video with her dancing and big smiles. Such a sweetie
I was just thinking to myself how much I've missed the Knorpps! You know the magic is back when you get ornaments - just like the old days.
Eve and her random dancing always makes me smile. I would love to tour a castle! You guys are really getting to experience some awesome things.
So glad to catch you all! And twenty minutes of vlog. Hope your next venture brings a better internet connection and faster uploads.
Your videos are some of my favorites. I think it's awesome that you try and emerge yourselves in the local culture. The vlogs are beautiful. This is the kind of thing I hope to do in two years when I get out of high school. You're vlogs are such an inspiration.

Esther is a wonderful big sister to her younger siblings. Esther, you are an awesome girl!
That part in France is so beautiful!
The highlight of my week - so glad you are having a good time - thanks for sharing!
I was there a few summers ago, such a beautiful building!
My favorite family😊always praying for all of you. Man I would love to try the bread from France. Oh by the way, I work at a hospital and I tell all my patient's about your family. Way better than regular TV. more subscribers coming your way.💛
I've been to France and the bread there is so delicious. It doesn't stay fresh long.
Bob Shaw ohhh even better. No preservatives in it. I've learned how to make some bread because I don't trust the bread they sell in our markets here in Cali. But I would LOVE LOVE some bread and cheese from France. 😍

I've been there! I was 10. I can remember everything vividly. What a great experience for the kids
lol that moat took a beating over the years. I remember dipping my feet in and kicking the clear water
What you need is to adopt a set of grandparent everywhere you go. I'm sure you'd get lots of applicants.
Mike ,

Glad these places weren't busy - they were so crowded last month ! If you have time before you leave France, go visit the Puy du Fou park. Rated one of the best amusement parks in the world. The kids will absolutely love it !

I love your handbag! The cross body option and leather. Where is it from?
The external part of this chateau reminds me of the LA Disneyland castle
Love your dress! Did you get that in France?
