@@gourami7😂 I didn’t know there is another name for corrupt government. Legislation?!? I will never ever buy a EV or Hybrid. Gasoline and maybe moving towards diesel.
Another great review. The looks of the 8 series has grown on me especially in the M competition version. Love the old dash. Well laid out and practical. So much better than the new giant screen. You were loving thst Alcantara dash a bit much. Lol On another note which would you prefer. The Alpina B8 or the M8 competition. Personally Alpina B8 even though it is a grand coupe. More exclusivity, more like a private jet. The M8 is more fighter jet. Either way both are spectacular
The dash stroking is mostly an inside joke...mostly! We did a B8 episode a couple of years ago and that would be my choice for sure. More usable for me, but this M8 Comp is seriously impressive.
You are spot on with the bucket seats. They look great; but in my case they turned out to be a bad idea. I am glad I tested the in and out those seats before I committed to buying one. I recommend for everyone to do the same. Getting in isn’t a bad thing; but, getting out a different story. I would have regretted getting the bucket seats - so I’m glad I tested them before I bought mine.
Marina Bay blue looks so much better in person - it’s an unreal color. I like the Ivory/Midnight Blue interior and the full carbon fiber exterior package. This car is everything they wanted it to be.
I saw a 'standard' 8 series coupe at my local BMW dealer, they are huge compared to the 4 series coupe. A true GT. As impressive the performance is of the M8 Competition where will you ever utilize it? Save the cash and buy standard 8 series and a manual MX-5 also!!!
Yeah if you want a boring and soulless car go ahead and get the EV. Best of luck when the temperature get really cold (check out the video with those dead Tesla during the winter storm).
Why would you buy an M4 competition when you can just get the M8 competition 🙌🏽 what a machine man🔥
I have M8 convertible 2020, its been an amazing experience, all around, all year racing car
Nice!
Wow, Congratulations BMW. You guys actually know how to build good old gasoline engine. Please stop with all the garbage hybrids and EV.
They have no choice with having to make hybrids and EV, legislation around the world is forcing ICE manufacturers to do it.

@Thankyou_3 Diesel maybe difficult/expensive to get 5/ 7 years from now
@@gourami7If that is true, I am moving to Russia. There are more government corruption in North America than any other country in the world.
BMW makes some seriously good shit.
I have the convertible version. I ordered it in alpine white with the silverstone leather and carbon fiber package. I absolutely love the car.
Very nice!
Excellent breakdown!
Glad you liked it!
LOL @ 'Dash Stroker'! Bimmers do not speak to me, but this car is pretty freak'n fantastic. Thanks for posting!
Ha ha! I’ve only done that twice in the history of the show. Glad you enjoyed the episode.
Good looking classic profile . Good looking car .
We agree!

Always love your reviews Bian. Love the M8. Muscular looks, low and wide, comfortable and fast.
Cheers!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!

Good call!
Should’ve come with 4 piston calipers in the rear, the single piston generic brakes looks super cheap on a 200k car
BMW uses specific performance metrics to determine optimal braking, not aesthetics.
I agree. Mine has those single pistons and it looks like a VW Polo
in Germany the Car makes on the Dyno over 670 HP 😅
Thank you! I haven’t looked into it, but that doesn’t surprise me.
@@BrianMakse BMW and their HP numbers are very funny 😅
I strongly believe that the cops will be at my door in two seconds if I were a dash stroker.😂
Nah, you’re safe. Today, everything is permissible it seems.
Is this rwd or awd
Both. You can switch it to rwd.
@@BrianMakse ok ok

It is both awd n rwd you can just switch

That's not a bad idea!
Most people cannot even push an mz-5/miata to its limit. I would just stick to getting an X7 and an Mx-5 with a roll cage to toss around.
Jersey Turnpike. Got up to 150mph, and it STILL, was like, "when are we going to 190???"
@@jorgetomas380 that's not surprising because it pulls like a freight train, but that's definitely best done at the track.
Wayyy better then m4 and m3
Depends on what you mean by better.
Where the hell is the subscribe button????
Did you find it?
it´s not bad, unfortunately it cost in Germany USD $ 200k 😭. Thanks 😀
They take massive depreciation hits over here.
Excellent presentation, more interesting as the car itself…this car is beside it‘s technique ennuying
Thank you! 👍
They really need to improve the interior on this 🔥 car
Sure they are fast but not as nimble. If you want straight line performance just get an EV. Weight just as much but fasting, quieter.
Yeah if you want a boring and soulless car go ahead and get the EV. Best of luck when the temperature get really cold (check out the video with those dead Tesla during the winter storm).
A bulky crazy ass bimmer of the outgoing automotive era.
Drivetrains like this are rapidly going away...
@@BrianMakse Yeah man, they do. Let's not dig into how sad that is, OK? 😁 Of course, this M8 is one of the last of its kind.
