Came across your video and I love your videos I have seen so far! I think it is interesting that you use okra in your stew; I will definitely try that. Thank you for sharing, you are awesome!

@AllenGraph Thanks again Allen!
@stevescooking Thanks Steve! I'm just trying to keep up with you! :)
Thanks for sharing your recipes. I am also Khmer and was looking for some traditional Cambodian recipes for a long time, you are awesome...:D
@bowhunter2439 Thanks Bow! It's that time of the year where all I want is soup, soup, and more soup! Haha.
@TheSquishyMonster It is fragrant! And yummy in my tummy! Thanks for watching Angie!
Mmmm....canh chua. Yours looks delicious!! BTW, it's rice paDDy herb. The elephant ears are "bac ha" or taro stems. That herb is sawtooth coriander as you said or saw-leaf herb or I think even Mexican culantro (no, I did not misspell cilantro...LOL!). The sawtooth is similar to cilantro. I like your addition of shrimp. Thanks for the upload!
@vietchigurl I can eat it everyday! Especially with some chili peppers in it! Yum!!
Mmm...yummy! Sounds like a task that I am willing to take on! :)
Looks yummy Sav! Thanks for sharing! I just made some sour soup yesterday for dinner! :P
No, it's not. I can see the similarity but this soup is more sweet and sour whereas Tom Yum's flavor is def more tangy and sour. It also uses lemongrass and lime leaves, both of which are not present in this soup(my version anyways).
@TangoSpiceCompany Thanks Joseph! :)
You're welcome!
Thank you so much for sharing...My wife will love this...How do you spell the herbs??? Cheers Jeff
They sound very smart! :)
I love this dish my ma and i are always making it at home
You're welcome! And thanks for watching!
Thank you! And I already have a pho tutorial on my channel. :)
I've had this soup vegan style and yes, it was still good!
Yes, Cambodians make it with chicken or fish.
There is some chicken broth used. You can omit it, if you want.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
@MrEZCooking Yes, I did know that. You're practically an honorary, Asian man! Haha.
What store you buy the ingredients?
I have a question, what type of chicken broth do you use? may you add the image of chicken broth's label on your recipe if you can please?
Thanks in advance
Do you use an american brand chicken broth or asian brand?
look so yummmmmmmmm😋
On the packaging it reads "Baha", so apparently that's what they call it at the Korean market in town. Lol.
I think that's a typo it's usually labelled as what the Vietnamese call it "Bac Ha" (taro stem) which is a variety of elephant ears.
It's a type of Taro which is called "Kdart" = ក្តាត in Khmer.
Yummy yummy
Eat now cry later sounds like ex husbands dream 🤣
I don’t wants to cry later
I remember when my mom and dad made it for us it was amazing! But ours was vegan I still liked it though :)
I love okra
Can I use tamarind concentrate that I use for pad thai?
No, they are not leeks....I'm really sure of that. :)
Canh chua and wasabi?? Sounds interesting! Lol.
I want some
yum yumm 😋
you correct. they are called elephant ears, they are also called taro root. ^_^
Everyone in my family is Vietnamese!
This is how my parents make it!
The pot is chicken broth?
The elephant ears are called kdat in khmer.. im sure of it.. but idk wat it is in english..
This is the stem to the Taro plant.
