I love when a movie it's costly, but we can see that it's expensive in every detail and scene. Sometimes movies cost a lot and we cannot even appreciate all the work that went into it
@@kevinwelge7208 No not all of that you saw. They did plant one which actors can run through. So the yellow field and striped field. Just like they have a wheat field that actors run through, but the zoomed out shot of the village is CGI with the fields multiplied.

I LOVE THAT LINE “If there are no further questions… Im… gonna go” IT WAS AT THAT MOMENT IN THE THEATER that I fell in love with Glinda in a way I hadnt before. Ariana did an AMAZING job, absolutely perfect. I literally searched it and Im so happy I found a clip here. I want to watch the movie over and over and over again.
this was the set that convinced me that this movie may actually be alright. I had LOW expectations before that. but seeing such a gorgeous set gave me a lot of hope.

Must have cost a pretty penny…but still can’t believe the budget is still $50 million less than Titanic and all they had was one ship facade. SMH
As an outsider I don’t care for any story for the sake of it being a legendary literary work, but I love the chemistry between the characters and the magic of filmmaking. I’m so excited for this movie.

The munchkins in both the Gregory Macquire book and in the musical are not dwarves or little people… they are humans in Oz who do, however, have the reputation for being somewhat shorter in stature. This is to emphasize the role of stereotypes in the political structure of Oz society
The director seems so nice! I wish they’d kept the really bright colors they created on set vs the flat, sepia tone that made the final cut. It would have been a nice nod to the original film being one of the first to be filmed in technicolor 😢

GOD the sets for this movie are GORG !!!! it's so refreshing to see behind the scenes footage and it's not just actors standing in a blue room
