That is a myth that fraternities/masonry opens opportunity for good jobs and special perks like getting out of legal issues etc..There are benefits to being a brother and it does get you exposure but you don't just get a free ride. You still gotta work and provide for yourself and family and do what's morally right. I thought that in my history class the teacher was a brother. I would just show up, not study , fail tests. At the end of the year I was given a failed grade.
