- Hi everyone!
Here is my version of Leslie in a free genderbend interpretation. I wrote the score myself by ear after hearing the character playing this on his mandolin in the 12th episode of Promised Neverland.
Hope you all enjoy this little moment of one of the most beautiful songs of this soundtrack!

It's very good but i think the tempo is fast (i guess the emotion of the song is on the tempo) . I'm also learning , but i really recommend that the angle is front. Just my opinion i really love this vid thank youuuu.

Pretty good job. There were a couple of timing issues and sharp notes but it was a really good effort. A bit of practice with this song and I'm sure it'll be killer 😀

Unfortunately, I don't have the resources at the moment to do recordings, so it's just me in my room (not sound proof) and my regular camera. I'm not very fond of editing, although it would be nice to add some reverb or effects like that. But maybe one day ^.^

I did a mandolin cover because that's the instrument played by Leslie in Promised Neverland :) It's not that it is rare, but there are few covers in this instrument, yes.

I mean that I don't look exactly like the character in question, and that I'm doing a girl version of a male character. It doesn't do much difference in this video, apart from the ponytail.
@@biakamyuzu you're just doing a cover of a guitar tune, how does gender even come into the equation. A boy composed a tune, does that mean its inherently masculine...?
@@EzioAuditore-vr1oy It is not a guitar tune, it's a mandolin tune. Also, the genderbend part is about the cosplay, and not about the music. True music is not bound by gender or other kinds of limitations because it is an universal language.
I don't understand why what I wear is any sort of statement regarding the music. I simply tried to visually recreate what happens in the anime with what I had, hence the specification in the description.

I don't quite understand what you mean. Yes, sometimes my fingers didn't press the strings quite the way I would like it, but the mandolin is not my main instrument.

@@callumsmith5263 I tried to reproduce (as much as I could) the version that Leslie played in the episode itself. If you are talking about one note (which sounded very lowly at the recording and could be the result of the remaining resonance of the string and the articulation of the finger, therefore not intentional), I chose not to include it because it wasn't struck and I lack the technique to do such small details.
But thank you either way for bringing it to my attention :)
