Imagine coming to a small creator's channel to promote your own clickbait video. The game is not unplayable. You are either exaggerating a lot, or you never played old games that actually had bugs or mechanics that stopped you from actually finishing the game. You can easily play the game, even with a few bugs here and there, and can even do it 100% (I didn't because I lack the interest and patience, but I know friends who did).

The game is far from being perfect, on that we can agree. Like I said, I'm not the public that they're aiming for, and even as a game it's a mediocre experience, at best. But it's playable, for sure.

Playable means that the developer has explained to the player how to use all the systems and mechanics in this game. just about everything in the entire game for a system/mechanic has no explanation. The game doesn't even explain if it has missions/quests.or how to know how to know if you're even in the middle of anything The eagle is totally useless

@@TLgamer_TL I won't go watch your video because 1. I do not care about AC Mirage to watch videos on the matter, and 2. By your comments, you clearly haven't watched my video either. By your own standards of what is "playable", either you just didn't read the tutorials that the game very clearly throws in your face when the mechanics are used the first time, or you just didn't understand them. I do agree the eagle is kind of useless, since it's hard to control, a lot of "dungeons" don't let you use it, and it does not provide any real advantage, besides being easier to spot guards. But having badly developed mechanics does not make it "unplayable", even by your own definition. Now, my question is: this video is about my experience playing this game when the opportunity appeared, and it's far from being positive. If you have a peeve with Ubisoft, go take it out with them. Don't buy their games just so you can diss them. I didn't pay a penny for this game exactly because I think it's not worth it. Don't make me "defend" it just because you have a bad argument. AC Mirage has a lot of problems, and is far from being a game I would recommend. But being "unplayable" is not one of them.

You should, it's a game worth playing due to the intriguing plot!

@@jimcarrey2866 Yeah, if at least there could be a few tense moments to remind you that it's supposed to be a RE... I think RE4 does start out with a tense, horror filled atmosphere, and as you go further into the game, it evolves into an action focused game to shoot and shoot at waves of enemies, which was the reason I was really enjoying the game at the beginning, and by the end was feeling a little bit uninstered and wondering when it was going to end.

@@brucebanner3566 Yeah, the game does feel like a callback to a lot of things, while trying out others with little success. Actually, it's interesting that you would mention a remake, but after RE4 Remake came out, a lot of people started saying that everything pointed towards the possibility of the next remake being RE5. Personally, I would just love a remake of Code Veronica, since it's one of my favorite games and it needs a remake for yesterday, but I have kind of given up on that idea x)

@@theultimateninja I get what you mean about RE4, but I also understand why it's so many people's favorite. Leon's quirky personality, a compelling story line, memorable villains, (a huge array of memes)... And a very good balance between tense atmosphere and action (with the exception of the island part...). But it definitely made the next titles too action focused. I have already played RE6, and I will add that review in the future. But I can say that RE6 picked my interest with the story that it tells and I definitely place it above RE5, on top of having better AI for the partner. But unfortunately feels like shooting campaigns, which is precisely the kind of gameplay that I don't like in RE games.

@biakamyuzu Im making a generalization, but for most people who say RE4 is the best RE game, it happens to be the 1st RE game they ever played. They dont really care for the originals and can't/wont learn how to use tank controls. That's why it just irks me that Capcom changed the game for the sake of "normie" gamers. I mean, they successfully did it, and kudos to them, but they should've just called the game something else and left the survival horror / tank controls / hybrid 3D controls alone. But whatevvs

@@theultimateninja As a fan of the fixed camera angles and the older RE games (with RE0, RE1 and Code Veronica being my favorites), I do think those games have an appeal that next titles forgot. But I also think that the evolution in the gameplay and the point of view was a natural step with the evolution of gaming and consoles. Tanky controls have their charm, but they also lead to flaws in gameplay and unnecessary frustrating moments, which definitely needs correction. This is not to say that RE4 is not without it's flaws, and it does begin to distance himself from what was RE originally. But I still feel like it's an enjoyable and interesting entry with the natural evolution in gameplay mechanics. But maybe it could have worked just the same with a different name and protagonist.

@biakamyuzu true about the tank controls. RE1 remake and Fatal Fram had the 3D movement option, and i think that wouldve sufficed. I just miss the survival horror.

@@willyamalexandre8716 It's not my kind of game, but I've certainly had worst gaming experiences (Watch Dogs Legion was left unfinished in the first hours because of how boring it felt, I don't even have a review to show for it). This AC is what I consider a mediocre and repetitive experience, but I was still invested in seeing the adventure through. Just for the ending to leave me confused and unsatisfied.

Like I said, I did notice a few words that sounded slightly different when mentioned by different characters, so was wondering if it was non native speakers trying to speak the language, or just different accents.

@@biakamyuzu You're good. AC while it does standalone stories. The mainline games are all interconnected in some ways. So definitely consider starting from the beginning

@@TheNerdBuster Oh, nice, you have the full experience! I saw that they also made one for Dragon Quest, but unfortunately haven't played any thing from that series yet. I was actually surprised they decided to include FF16, since it came out after the launch of this game! I'm not a FF14 player, so don't really know about the soundtrack for Endwalker, but I've seen a lot of praise for the expansion.

@@omegaweapon116 They will, no doubt! It happened with both FF7 and FF10 for me :') I'm slowly trying to tackle all FFs (since I already have a few on my possession), so maybe when I do acquire the Premium Deluxe Edition, I will be able to play more video stages ;)
