    Catechism of The Buddhist Doctrine
Primarily in Buddhism it is compulsory to accept Rebirth & KARMA (Wholesome or Unwholesome Commitments) though only voluntarily one should accept The Doctrine, purely through conviction.
after accepting Buddhism purely through conviction. It’s mandatory to make 5 sacrifices or observe Five Precepts as a Layman,
    1. To Abstain from Killing, Harming or Endangering any kind of living beings.
    2. To Abstain from Stealing or taking what is not granted to you. Pilferage, Cheat ,Plunder, Pillage, Loot, etc;
    3. To Abstain from Committing Adultery or illegal sexual misbehavior.
    4. To Abstain from Falsehood, Pretend, Mendacity, Lying or Deceit. It’s v.important for Buddhists to refrain from falsehood as they seek the Truth.
    5. To Abstain from Intoxication or Narcotic Drug Abuse.
Standards are of course higher and much more austere for a Novice Monk (like the Poverty vow, Strict Celibate living etc;)
Unlike in all other major religions including Hinduism, Buddhism doesn’t accept a creator God but instead Evolution, according to the Commitment or KARMIC Force which enables the ideal situation.
Eg; Wholesome Commitments will deliver pleasant or desirable births in a Celestial or Human birth or vis-à-vis in the case of Unwholesome Commitments. For whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. (New Testament - Saint Paul)
A rather short and precise emphasis would be, mentally and physical commitment or action(volition, consciously acting by purpose). Therefore what happens accidentally(unintentionally) doesn't create a payback situation.Although KARMIC reaction may not take place quite instantly but for surely in due time-course it will start paying retribution to the owner of it(Eg; if one plants an apple seed you wouldn't get apples over night, but certainly for sure it will give results at its fruition). It's mind foremost. Though Envy, Jealousy, Aversion, Covetousness and Ignorance are all evil and doesn't involve any physical action but it will definitely have a KARMIC reaction in a miserable realm as they are mindful commitments(intention) . Lord BUDDHA has mentioned the type of KARMA and its reactions are infinite. This subject of KARMA is a vast subject in Buddhism with lots of elaborations like the Cause & Effect Theory,
    · Dependent on the main cause ignorance , volitional (KARMIC) formations evolves.
    · Dependent on volitional formations, consciousness evolves.
    · Dependent on consciousness, mentality-materially(Mind & Matter) evolves.
    · Dependent on mentality-materially, the six sense faculties(Eye,Nose,Tongue,Ear,Body & Brain ) evolves .
    · Dependent on the the six sense faculties, contact evolves.
    · Dependent on contact, sensual feeling evolves.
    · Dependent on Sensual feeling, craving evolves.
    · Dependent on craving, clinging evolves.
    · Dependent on clinging, existence( Rebirth in*31 Realms ) evolves.
    · Dependent on existence, birth evolves.
    · Dependent on existence, decay, senility death, sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief and despair evolves
    * According to Buddhist Cosmology,Lord BUDDHA has mentioned that the number of Galaxies run in to infinity in 625 B.C, a Galaxy comprises of 31 realms of existence and they are, the 4 miserable Hell Realms (1.Animal 2.Goblin or the Hungry Ghostly Forms 3. Extra Gigantic Miserable Ghostly Forms 4. The 136 Hell realms full of torture found beneath the earth.)
1 Human realm, 6 Celestial Heavenly realms, 20 Celestial Brahma realms(Super-mundane). Also Rebirth is quite different to Reincarnation which means the same person appearing again. According to Buddhism it’s NOT THE SAME or NOT ANOTHER Eg; Suppose Julius Caesar reborn currently as Prince Charles, he’s not Julius Caesar now ,but no one else either but a generation of the Cycle of Birth & Death of a being.
We're driven by Greed, Hatred and Delusion the 3 evil KARMIC roots embedded in our minds which doesn't need any nourishment, the downward currents fueling our *cycle of birth and death (*SAMSARIC SOJOURN) which causes immense suffering to us. So the perfect solution or the antidote prescribed by The BUDDHA, is to engage our selves in acts of 1.Generosity, to nullify Greed. 2.To Contemplate on Loving Kindnesses and especially to Forgive one's Adversaries and Treacherous Enemies, this technique is to curtail the evil root of Anger, Animosity or Hatred and Jealousy which is embedded in our minds. 3.Finally to develop Wisdom through sheer Contemplative Meditation to make Ignorance obsolete. Ignorance which is the main reason for the existence of both other evil aspects Greed and Hatred. Both Greed and Hatred can't exist without Ignorance.
Lord BUDDHA has taught us how to liberate our selves by contemplating on
reality of the 1.The NATURAL PHENOMENON OF IMPERMANENCE(both Mind & Matter, arise to pass away or Appear to Disappear) 2.The NATURAL PHENOMENON OF SUFFERING(due to 1st phenomenon of Impermanence)
    3. The NATURAL PHENOMENON OF SOULLESSNESS (non continuity or non eternity. This is the most subtle phenomenon) and this technique of meditation is known as The INSIGHT MEDITATION which enables you to exterminate the KARMIC FORCE and would nullify your future existence in any of the *31 realms of existence in this Galaxy or in any other Galaxy (Lord BUDDHA has mentioned that the number of Galaxies run in to infinity in 625 B.C) a Galaxy comprises of * 31 realms of existence and they are, the 4 miserable Hell Realms (1.Animal 2.Goblin or the Hungry Ghostly Forms 3. Extra Gigantic Miserable Ghostly Forms 4. The 136 Hell realms full of torture found beneath the earth.)
1 Human realm, 6 Celestial Heavenly realms, 20 Celestial Brahma realms(Super-mundane).
And INSIGHT MEDITATION leads you to the emancipation of all suffering or
NIRVANA( cessation of Birth, Decay, Illness,Death Lamentation and all forms of Suffering)
Wherever Birth takes place it isn't NIRVANA and in NIRVANA there's no Birth taking
    place any more.
"Transient alas are all component things
Subject are they to birth & then decay
Having gained birth to death the life flux swings
Bliss truly dawns when unrest dies away"
-The Buddha(Light of Asia. by Sir Edwin Arnold)

I'm not sure if the information you are giving here is correct. The original writings of Buddhism were destroyed in India and what we have now is reconstructed Tripitak from Sri Lanka, Tibet etc. The book by Sir Edwin is a good one but we have additional information today with people being able to read the Dham script. Karma mentioned here is completely different. By the way, there are 28 Buddhas and Shakya Muni was one of them.

We are eternal. I am 86, some fifty years ago I composed a little poem that I like you to read. The title is Eternity. It goes like this : I have been the sky and I have been the sea. I have been the wind and I have been the tree. This is why I know that I was, that I am and that, after I die, through the quantic of the atoms of my body I will always be, in a billion forms and a billion millennia. Different from religions and philosophies, my poem applies to every human, every living or not living thing. My poem is the mirror of reality. Reincarnation is the dream of humanity alone, and even if reincarnation can happen, it is as an exception in billion lives. God is part of everything.

In Buddhism there is after life. This is according to Buddhist scriptures written by Buddhist Monks. But Buddha never said about reincarnation, rebirth or previous life or after life. Buddha clearly said that no Soul or Karma inside you. He found there is only Knowledge and Intelligence inside you. After the moment of death knowledge and Intelligence will be vanished. Nothing will be remained.

The Original Buddha Doctrine is different from these
" Hindu/Jain" derived concepts, that are being spread all over the world, by people who have not entered the Path. That is why the Buddha reiterated that one should teach only after entering the Path.
The Buddha spoke of ANATTA, which is basic in His Doctrine. It means NO SOUL. No me. No I. Which means there is NO person, except the senses - from smell. Sight. Hearing. Taste. Touch, Mind and memory.
In the Dev DAHA Sutta, He Categorically states " If anyone says that, what one endures is a consequence of previous actions " that NOT the Buddha Doctrine, but is Niganta (Hindu) doctrine. VERY CLEAR.
    -The Buddha-
Bhawa means one thought. PUNAR Bhawa means the next new thought. Therefore it is the thought that follows one after the other.
Therefore it is obvious that there is no me/l/ person to be reborn.
“ Bhawa niridho nibbanam “ means eradication of the thought process, is the key to enter the Path to nibbana.
The thoughts follow in a sequence and there is no KAMMA as described by the Hindu/ Jain faith, where there is reward on one hand and punishment or damnation on the other, as is the case in Christianity. This concept of damnation is questionable and will last with intellectual dialogue.
The Original Buddha Doctrine, before it was mixed with the Hindu faith, is Supra-mundane and Supra-cortical. Even the concept of Anicca and Anatta is at the level of Quantum mechanics and sub-atomic particles. When a body or any object is dissected to the last of the material form, it is correctly called Dhamma after which it is a non-material aspect and no form called “ information “.
On the contrary, Buddha’s Teachings are correctly called “ Buddha Doctrine “ or Buddha wachanaya or the Buddha’s Teaching.
One has to stop the process of Bhawa and Punar Bhawa to enter the Path through Pragna and subsequently reach the stage of Dhamma. Thereafter one sees Buddha and Nibbana.
Difficult to fathom, but it is a process believed to follow as steps automatically, after stopping the thought process, through relentless effort.
The Buddha spent 6 long years doing meditation and found it to be futile, where he collapsed many times due to starvation and extreme emaciation. He realized that nutrition was important for all mental and physical activities. Thereafter he left the 5 colleagues and did the reverse of meditation, which was not concentrating or being mindful of any thoughts. He left the world of being in the mind and entered the Path. That must be obvious to any intelligent person, as the incessant7 mental activity is the enemy to the Path of Nibbana.
Not these mundane false concepts such as rebirth of the person.
Do your research and enter the Path, through " Cheto VIMUKTHI" which one could follow, listening to Dr. Gamini Abhaya MD. FRCP Consultant Physician/Cardiologist with NO fee, through Denageneemen Nivanata via the Internet. Until one enters the Path to Nibbana, by entering the first stage ( Sowahn) it is incorrect to teach or preach, which is like BLIND LEADING THE BLIND.
About time people used their own intellect without believing hearsay.

not true, only be a heretical minority in Christianity at least. anyway some christians believe in eternal soul and then perpetual heaven/paradise and hell fates for people, I think that's the most common view, but others think wicked will be destroyed for all time, and the righteous will be in the presence of God and Angels for all time, but not in "Heaven" for all time that's some fixed period, then humans going back to earth as permanent home. I'm taking away that hindu/buddhist tradition is more about merging with God or merging with / returning to the original force/source of all things, vs dominant Christian view of being elevated and in the presence of the God that created all, but not becoming one with Him or achieving equal status.

I love this Chanel but I have to say that I disagree with you when you said that only matter can store information. Light is information and contains informations so do radio waves. How do explain a spirit retaining its memory, haunting?. By that logic if you don’t reproduce (dna)then you won’t reincarnate. Light is the most information dense thing known. It is also a fact that absolutely all matter (spawned from hydrogen) is essentially one ingredient. Light. It’s crystallized light and sound is slowed down light waves of a lower vibrational spectrum.

Reincarnation is generally accepted by the people of Buddha's time. Recalling some of the previous lives was quite common among highly trained meditation practitioners. The whole teachings of Buddhism are based on the knowledge that even if one dies one can not escape the cycle of Samsara.
If there is no rebirth, people who come to realize the suffering of life could end their lives because they think this is their only life but according to what the Buddha taught us about rebirth and Kamma, suicide would not solve anything.
The Jataka tales, which tell about some of the previous lives of the Buddha are based on the info collected from all the people who were fortunate enough to receive direct teachings from the Buddha.

    • @bluecrow7281
      @bluecrow7281 Месяц назад

It is accepted that when one attains a certain level of the meditative mind that person can recall the memories of previous lives, usually one or two lives but not further than that, the unique thing about the Buddha is that he could recall an uncountable number of past lives. He is also able to see the past lives of others. In addition, he could see the Karmic relations and consequences of all beings. These three special skills were parts of what it means to be the Buddha of each civilization cycle of sentient beings. Regarding the question of what is the core teaching of Buddhism, my answer would be that there is no single core teaching that is the central part of Buddhism, partly because the Buddha taught that there is no core or essential part of anything. Everything is made of different factors that together make a new thing.
In summary, the Buddha realized that there is suffering in our life that is caused by attachments, which are caused by unwholesome desires or dislikes that has ignorance to the true reality as a root cause. To be able to the see things as they really are, the Buddha has taught us Vipassana (Insight Meditation) which is all about observing all the mental objects that occur in one's mind.

This Video is totally wrong, it tries to explain how immaterial things works by classical science point of view.
It is like someone is trying to explain orthodox quantum science action at a distance by classical physics !.
So, in the case of "rebirth", what is happening is consciousness of the dying person is continues but this time it will attach to the new Fetus.
Natures laws which effect/govern the immaterial consciousness are totally different from other laws in the nature for materials and energy forms. consciousness is not taking a space to exist it (It can't contain).
