I don’t understand how some secular Buddhists denied that the Buddha taught about karma and rebirth . In tons of sutras the Buddha explained that his 3 knowledges was about the problem of rebirth ( his saw his many past lives ) , how beings are reborn according to their actions and the destruction of taints . To be skeptical about karma and rebirth or having doubts is normal and reasonable. But to claim that the Buddha never taught about Karma and rebirth when there is a tons of sutras about the topic is unbelievable.

Rebirth is a Hindu/Jain concept. The Buddha spoke of ANATTA, which means that there is no ego. No soul. No person called me. Bhawa is a thought. PUNAR Bhawa is a new thought. It is thought that is born millions of times. That is the Original Buddha Teaching. Mixing “ rebirth of the person “ is injustice to the Truth. We can understand rebirth by looking at our everyday lives. Everyday we experience a rebirth after sleep (symbolic to death) and continue to both live with our past actions (yesterday's deeds) and create new karma with today's deeds. This rebirth also occurs moment by moment as well.
