I really Do enjoy the show and I actually wanted to have a season 2 like a few things I wouldn't want them to change I think they should kill off a few characters maybe explore all the other tribes in season 2 and focus a bit less on jokes and more on the plot story
I absolutely loved the show, I've watched it 3 times. I just don't get tired it, it's a cool laid back show I can relax to. The characters I thought were all super interesting, it's such a shame it got cancelled. But, it did get me into the comics for some closure at least.
Yea I liked it to some of the jokes were outdated but it kinda added to its charm. I saw sams character flaws as a point towards the show. She keeps rejecting Josh’s notion of love because he only loves a version of her without realizing how problematic that actually is.nobody is ever going to know every little thing about someone and it’s ok to be loved unconditionally
I really enjoyed the show. It's meant to be over the top at moments and cheesy at other times, but it also has a lot of heart and good chemistry between the characters. I prefer this show over most of the other Netflix originals.
A show I didn’t really think much about until I just happened upon and saw the trailer…I was like “hey young Sam Winchester and seems interesting and a little different…I’ll check it out” started out kinda slow but each episode got better and the soundtrack was amazing. I hated we didn’t a next season.
I love Turbo a lot, he doesn't make much sense considering hes one of 2 kids injured at all by the explosion (when he should have been further from the ex0losion than Josh..... was he not inside the school or at the football game or whatever????? Josh was outside) idk its just dumb BUT turbo is my favorite he is 10/10 Hate Hoyles for murdering Eli out of nowhere. Nah bc Burr traumatized that kid somehow and im not even sure exactly happened there 😟
Excellent video essay, I had the same thoughts of the series. I loved it but the ending was kinda shit. And you helped explain the things I hated but didn't understand why along with the things I loved
I think the flair thing shouldn't be that big of a deal it's one of those things that just happened and shows movies that I think should just be left alone because it is funny like I like it it looks cool like there are some things in zombie Apocalypse movies and TV shows that if you talk about even if they're pretty Obvious if You have a gripe with the most obvious things and zombie type of stuff you're gonna just have a bad time
I honestly think this was the worst show ever produced. I literally pinched myself hoping this was a fever dream. Unfortunately I work up to my friends watching it, non of us could believe how ridiculous the writing and script was. I watched 3 episode and the only reason is I was so impressed on how horrible it was and wanted to see if they could make it even worse
lol wait til you watch "I'm not okay with this." on netflix. Its just fucking awful. Everything in that show feels robbed from another piece of media and it's genuinely hard to watch.
I agree with this guy. "Guilty pleasure" is the perfect term I would use to describe my relationship with this show.
Same

I did like this show I don't get why everyone else hates it
It's a show not meant to be taken seriously
I love the show
I loved it
It was somewhat good but cringe
I loved the show so much

The moment you mentioned Gary’s performance, I knew we were kindred spirits. I cry every goddamned time.
Dude I thought you was a big youtuber I’m surprised you’re not! Keep up the work!!

Kinda embarrassing to admit but I kinda cried cuz I thought Ms. Crumble died at the last episode.. (I mean same with Eli)
No lie, Eli's death still gets me in the heart
Glad to see more than one review for Daybreak. The concept for the shows world was better than the actual storyline of the show.

How does this only have 9 likes? This is on par with the mainstream animators and reviewers
how you presented the characters at the 2ish minute mark instantly earned a like from me.
Daybreak NEEDS a season 2
It promotes subversion to a degree, yet promotes a certain degree of illumination.

Does the main guy remind anyone else of John Cena a little. It's his face, it looks like he could be Cena's offspring or little brother 💯🤣

Sounds exactly like last kids on earth novel

Watching this show felt like an actual insult to my intelligence.
@@rererep1109 you have low intelligence so it's not that much of a insult anyways

This show was great it boring sometimes but not awful
