    Excellent video! Thanks for sharing! I just wanted to say that I threw out all my aluminium pots & pans & now I use cast iron or stainless steel for health reasons. Aluminium is not good for consumption; it can cause Alzheimer's disease. Food also tastes better in cast iron.

    Thanks for another great recipe!
    Question, what do you mean by "good quality" turmeric? What do you look for when buying it to know if it's quality?

    • @LamiseO
      @LamiseO  4 года назад +3

      Piece of K I feel like the ones at the Asian or Indian store are better quality than the ones I buy from Walmart. If the turmeric you find at Walmart are your only option it will definitely do the job,but if you can get some at the other stores I would highly recommend it.

    Your recipe needs to be more detailed for those who are still learning how to cook rice. I know when I taught myself, yes I did, I had to go through alot of mooshy rice before I got the hang of it. Alot of mothers from the Caribbean have this "Just watch me," way of teaching. I think since your platform is about teaching others then the recipes need to be a little more detailed when written. Constructive Criticism. I just remembered I had a Haitian friend in highschool who tried to explain to me and SHOW me the technique at her house one day.

    • @LamiseO
      @LamiseO  4 года назад +2

      Regine B That’s why I said use the 2 cups of water to one cup of rice sis. This is honestly the way I cook my rice without measuring. I totally understand where you coming from though and I appreciate your constructive criticism ❤️

      @@LamiseO I didn't hear you say that in the video. What I was referring to was in the section where you wrote the recipe for this video, I immediately thought, "Why isn't the rice listed, that's the main ingredient in the recipe?" Again, constructive criticism. I am new to your channel. You are appreciated.
