It hurts to realise that there are thousands of these talented people out there sadly not known to many. I'm not gonna bash pop music (that I don't understand why so many people listen to) but I just really really strongly wish these people could be more popular rather than some big artists.

I stumbled across Brendan's music by accident, back in 1997 when a promo CD of One Mississippi came into the TV production company I was working for in Glasgow at the time. I've been a huge fan and advocate of his music ever since, he really is fantastic. More power to Brendan !

I got to listen to Brendan's music by appointment of Jack White on one of the first White Stripes official sites. At the time, Brendan had just released 'Lapalco'. Man, I couldn't stop listening to that album on my mp3 player. I had to get the songs individually and the version to 'Metarie' was different from that of the album, and you know, that's the one I like more.
