@ijobasai Its not the turbo that makes the car sound like this, why do so many people think this! Its a boxer engine, turbo or no turbo its going to rumble. To make it rumble a lot like this, you need uneven headers/extractors, it drops the hp a bit compared to even headers but it sounds great.
fuckin sick man, im just finishing paying off my 97 LX, complete stock and im keeping it that way im not wasting money on an LX so im selling and going prob 2000 RX, sticking to the sqaure lights, then im gonna go crazy with it, stick some new headers, change exhaust, air intake, gonna do what i can with it keeping it sounding like an impreza without a turbo or supercharger
Pretty sure you need to get the headers changed as well as the cat back.. im about to get my Forester done, non turbo and I spoke to the exhaust bloke and he told me that i shouldn't get headers done, just need the cat back for it to sound like this... don't know how its going to turn out but he definitely knows what he is doing sooo i will soon find out.
@@DSMerkonmyface you dont know shit either😂 on NA engines, you do not want any back pressure, but the exact opposite. You want an exhaust that "sucks" the exhaust gasses out. You can accomplish this by making the runners to a spesific lenght, so that the exhaust pulse from one cylinder goes just ahead of the other, and then the inertia of the first one will cause a drag on the next one and aiding exhaust extraction. With too big of an exhaust diameter this wont work, but as long as you have a catalytic converter it does not matter, as the cat is a big restricion and created back pressure.

Extra Bass my 2018 sounds relatively close to this, all I’ve done to it is a nameless muffler delete.
