Hey man I love your videos, I used to be a detailer, if you let the wheel cleaner sit on the wheels for a minute and scrub with a brush before pressure washing things come off super easy 👉😎👉
Metal polish works good for cleaning up the exhaust. I also think a 300-500$ budget works best for simple transformations! Keep up the great content bro!!!
Came here to say the same! x2 on the metal polish, and x100 on the $300-$500 budget transformations. Without stepping up to more expensive cars though, keep the cars similar to what we're getting now, just with a little bit more mod sprinkle to it.
@@kissmyasthma9973 My point still stands. 500-1000 isn’t an insane amount of money as compared to most car youtube channels which put thousands. For many working fans this range could be a little more relatable. I’m not complaining though. That is still simple.
I’m glad you’re finally getting the recognition you deserve! been following since 15k and can’t wait to see you grow your channel and your content more. Much love brotha!
i'd recommend getting some clay bars. they are cheap and they are great at removing contaminants, like adhesives, brake dust iron, and mold. also a good iron remover spray would help a lot. Another tip for restoring the headlights, use your buffer for the compound. It'll save you time and elbow grease, as well as yeild a better result.
I love the mix of budget you use in the videos. It helps to give us ideas on how to improve some of the little things on the cheap and spend a bit more on the things that are more important to us, without our own budgets going sky high!
I recently bought a 2002 Bugeye, so I'm really looking forward to this Impreza series! I hope you plan to do more with this car, lowering it, adding like a small spoiler etc. Pretty cool!
Love the videos! One suggestion, instead of random car facts, you should throw out a few car facts about the car make and model you're currently working on. Keep the great content coming!
You’ve inspired me to do a two stage build with my 99’ civic hatch. Currently going through stage one where it’s a budget build, and my stage two will be fixing all odds and ends. I’ve primarily focused on the inside for my budget build. I got a ap1 s2000 steering wheel with a nice wrap on it. My carpets are died black and my headliner is a black and white confetti. I have 01’ crv seats in the front and the bench without the backs for the rear seat. My car came 100% stock with minimal rust and 150k miles.
Totally changed the look of the car! A friend of mine told me a few years ago WD-40 & steel wool (the fine stuff) works to clean up wheels & I've used that trick, I also used it to clean up exhaust tips. Just a little 'tip' I thought I'd share with you.
Trim serum works wonders on plastic. It's worth every penny and the bottle lasts forever. For the exhaust here in the rust belt I use high temperature flat black paint to protect and keep the exhaust system looking new.
Great result! The low budget projects is so much interesting, I leave you a trick to clean the wheels... here in Spain we use oven cleaner in liquid spray or foam aerosols from supermarket... very cheap! let it act for a few minutes and then rub a little and wash... Trust me, it's awesome!
Nicely done! But I would go all the way with some rattle cans and repaint the calipers, wheels and Exhaust. Some good Motip colors for each, would go for maybe 15 dollars more and save the car for more rust build-up…
That random car facts segment is a 👍. Sounds like you were reading them for the first time lol. If you decide to do the random car facts, continue with you reading them for the first time, gives it an authentic feel to it which goes with your channels content
As a blobeye WRX owner it was nice to see this simple build. I would had taken the restoration a little further by giving it a good hand wax and painting the calipers. To get those wheels clean I recommend using Eagle one Mag wheel cleaner. Its pretty much wheel acid that professional detailers use. I used a similar product back when I used to detail cars. It works like a charm on the toughest grime with a brush. Just make sure to not let it sit for too long in the hot sun.
Excellent work! Especially the sticker removal, headlight refinishing, wheel cleaning, interior/exterior detail, etc. I think the value of it increased by 1500 after all the work. Looks alot newer than an 05.
It still looks a lot better than some examples I've seen. The most common impreza in Israel is a 1.6l 105hp front wheel drive automatic. It's the barest base model you can think of and people beat on them relentlessly. A fun fact for you: before Subaru's debut in the US the country where they sold the most cars was israel. The humble Subaru Leone is an iconic car for us and quite a lot of them are kept by enthusiasts.
Some tips I use - jewelry or metal polish/ cleaner or steel wool on the pipes, easy off oven cleaner for super dirty wheels, and goof off for stickers and decals
I love how ur just a totally cool regular dude. Keep it up man!! Ur channel is just so positive! We don't all have money to do crazy builds but love tinkering with our cars!
I had some old honda wheels on my ep3, I used simple green without diluting it, I used a softer tire brush and it blew through all the grime. Definitely recommend giving it a try for the wheels!
Not bad and it looks great. Hope your friend enjoys it and get a mechanic to check the car on the engine, chassis, suspension, brakes and others stuff.
Nice one 👍 the wheel spacers gave it a better look for sure however a universal front lip and some dark grey paint for the alloys could bring it out even more...
I used to have a 2005 Subaru Impreza Outback in dark gray, and seeing this video brought back good memories of that car! Even the same air freshener I used, so I even know what that car smells like! 🤣
Just randomly stumbled across this video, and I instantly subscribed. I've got a Subaru around the same year and it needs some love as well. Gonna do all of this to my car on my next day off, appreciate you man!
👍 Looks great! Great job! One thing I would have done is gotten rid of that pinstripe. It was half worn away, anyway. But that's just what I would have done. Not saying that you should have. The facts about cars was a great idea, but what I would recommend is try facts that are related to the make and model of the car in the video. Like, facts about Subaru. 👍
Personally my Favorite car is Subaru and when I see someone doing something with it makes me fall in love with this awesome car, good content and its nice to see your channel growing!!
You can use aluminum foil to polish exaust tips , soap it up and rub with an ebrasive sponge and then with the aluminum foil and it should gloss up a bit :D
Great tip to get your rims looking BRAND NEW without all the elbow grease is go to Home Depot and grab some muriatic acid. Add a few drops into a spray bottle with water and all that grime will come up so easily. Just don’t let it sit I can eat the clear coat off. Did it on my Jetta with horrible caked on break dust and it melted right off. 😊
I would’ve liked to see : black wheels, calipers painted, back emblems plastic dipped, front emblem deleted and some hella horns, taillights painted with nite shades on the red area . All this on the $150 budget. But that’s just me. Great job , I like all your videos
Awesome job again! Nicely done with spacers. Don't mind seeing either higher price or lower price build. Not sure if you are using a dirt trapper(maybe$10 at Amazon) in your bucket to rid of grit in your wash mitt. Prevents scratching up or swirl marks on black cars. Got yourself another scriber!
Next time you have trouble with grim on cars, like you had with the wheels, use Rubbing alcohol on your scuff pad, I use it all the time and haven't found anything yet that it won't take off. I also use it instead of prep-sol before I shoot paint, it works just as well as prep sol does but it's a dollar as opposed to $10-$12.....
I always like to see a paintjob included in the transformation videos, turbo can or spray gun. Could also be cool if you cut and polished a car in a transformation.
Been watching videos all day (sick) and moved on from the Fit which I hope to win for my son. I'm going to try the Turtle Wax light repair on my old Mazda - that looks a lot easier than some other fixes I've seen! Thanks for the tip to skip the one oily step.
I’d love to see a budget that makes your car look better everything you used was perfect and I will do but you did say in the video how you would do this or that but it’s not in the budget so keep showing us cheap add on stuff that change the car but don’t put a limit love the content keep it up!
I detail cars. For the wheels and that stubborn stuff that never comes off, GOO GONE (the alcohol based one in the metal can) is a miracle chemical on that stuff. Will also take stuff off of a cars paint without destroying it as well. Thank me later!
Love the videos I would like to see a little higher budget this was stuff people should be doing already and should already know other than that pretty good

I really love these budget builds 👍🏽 but would love to see a more expensive build.

Use wheel cleaner to clean the exhaust too
as a Volkswagen thats true
To @Smpl Builds: #WINNER
I love that you still do these SUPER simple ones. Something for everyone. Those wheel spacers made a big difference?
Thanks! Glad you like em 😁
Metal polish works good for cleaning up the exhaust. I also think a 300-500$ budget works best for simple transformations! Keep up the great content bro!!!
Toilet bowl cleaner.
A can of coke works too!😂
$500 budget. I would like to see some trucks transformations.

I feel like a slightly higher budget possibly from 500-1000 will be relatable to a lot of people and would love to see that.
then give him mobey😂😢😮😊
@@saucyiwnl What, Mobey Dick? Did you even watch the video? I’m not even complaining, he literally asked what we would like to see.
@@ardisulitbf, this channel has smpl in its name lol

Great content. The tiny budget definitely held you back on this one. I'd like to see more $1k builds.
I typically do budget PC building/modding; you've officially got me excited to work on my 1999 Chevy Silverado!
Post some videos if you can! I got a 2006 sierra I’m excited to work on. I’ll sub to you :)
The gmt800 series of trucks are honestly some of the most SIMPLE vehicles to ever work on. And there's TONS of aftermarket support.
I love the mix of budget you use in the videos. It helps to give us ideas on how to improve some of the little things on the cheap and spend a bit more on the things that are more important to us, without our own budgets going sky high!
watching videos like these, are the ones that make me appreciate my 05 2.5RS 135k miles and still rockin!
I recently bought a 2002 Bugeye, so I'm really looking forward to this Impreza series! I hope you plan to do more with this car, lowering it, adding like a small spoiler etc. Pretty cool!
I love the 2.5 RS I wish you did something higher budget with this model
Love the videos! One suggestion, instead of random car facts, you should throw out a few car facts about the car make and model you're currently working on. Keep the great content coming!
I’ve been watching you for about 2 years now! hope to see your channel Reach 1mil very soon!
loved the video! Glad to see n/a Impreza's get worked on.
This couldnt have come at a more perfect time! I just bought an 05 impreza 2.5 rs as my first car! very exciting
Man these low budget resto's are refreshing.. always so underrated when a car just gets some nice TLC

Id love to hear facts about the current model being restored! It would tie well into the videos I think
I was just about to comment the same thing!! The videos are getting better and better!
for the exhaust tip i usually use 800 grit wet/dry paper and then move to 1500 and 3000 and its a pretty solid shine

Quick tip for those stickers residues isopropyl alcohol always works!
Dude! Love it! Super simple and brings that car back to life! Keep going bro!
Let the rim cleaner sit much longer, the clear etching would come off with a light sand (2500) and compund.
The turtle wax headlight restoration kit is the best make sure it’s the one with the sealant wipes and uv sealant wipes
tip: use 3m stripe off wheel on a drill to take off adhesive. I removed a decal around my whole LS in under 30 min.
Steel wool soap pads are great for rusted metal, like the exhaust or anywhere under the car really.
Keep going bro, I'm happy that you're getting the recognition you deserve!!

KEEP PUTTING SMILES ON PEOPLES FACES 🤩
Around $500-800 transformations are the best IMO
Use some cheap high heat spray paint on the exhaust pipe. Slightly more expensive, get some metal polish, it's great for everything, and protects.
Nicee was hoping you got rid of the pinstripe on the sides too but the spacers definitely made the fitment better
Nice little clean up! Good ideas for a quick flip
There's metal polish at your local auto parts store great for exhaust, and ORIELYs sells a really good wheel cleaner called dark fury
Like your videos, very much informative.

Steel wool and brasso cleans non poloshed exhaust pipes to their best, been doing it for years. Brasso is my go to for polishing/cleaning most metals
Also i think a thousand dollar budget would be a great video on a slightly modified car, something that has a few cosmetics already

I think i like the 1,000 dollar builds the best. Rlly brings the car to life
If you add Lysol toilet cleaner to the exhaust it will get rid of the steel stains and make it look a lot cleaner !
I love these videos. Always puts a smile on my face. Do both man Low Budget, High Budget and hell even a medium one. 💯💯💯✌️✌️
You should do some videos about transforming trucks alongside with cars. Would love to see what you come up with.
Use toilet bowl cleaner on the exhaust tip with a sponge or scrubber. No lie it will make it shine.

Super surprising Tangiers with such smpl ideas
Toilet bowl cleaner with a scuffing pad works great 👍
Baking soda and vinegar for the wheels makes wonders
What’s helping more than all that product is the filter you used in the video.
I liked the random car facts, shout out to the lil bro for the great idea!
