TOOOOOL i'm still listening to Lateralus's outro on repeat even now, someone help
Please do ÆNEMA and Stinkfist
That outro it's too beautiful, but The Grudge it's out of this world. Amazing
There is no help, TOOL are one of these bands that are able to put you on a trip without using drugs. For me, they totally changed the way I listen to music and as a byproduct of that, they ruined 90% of other music for me. LOL Greets from Germany
@@oscarvalencia7561 YEah, i think its the most boring tool intro, but the ending . . . just incredible.
Lateralus may be my favorite song and album of all time, so I am right there with you.
If there is a Part 2 in the future, "The Pot" and "Schism" must be included!
She has got to react to 7empest too
Totally agree
@@333AndMan yeah was going to say - put some from FI in there.
I second this
Id honestly change the pot for Vicarious or Jambi, but there arent really any bad tool songs.
Until dementia kicks in, the only way I can discover these Tool tracks for the first time is to watch people discover them. I saw you discover a bright spot in your soul where Tool belongs.
ME TOO. Lately I have really been thinking if I had a super power it would be so I could at will forget movies, tv and music just to experience it all again
Exactly right. Thank you for voicing my thoughts.
Perhaps you are discovering them for the first time… vicariously?
Ripped the words out of my mouth :D
drink more, it helps the dementia kick in faster
It never gets old watching Tool break someone's brain for the first time.
I don't really know why, I don't like watching other react videos
Congratulations, you have found the greatest band ever. And I'm glad you found them before it was to late.
Rush would like to have a word with you sir. Lol
@@ericlee7385 without RUSH, there would never have been TOOL. I am very grateful and, I am a fan of them as well. Lol.
"the best band ever" no man, but yeah, awesome band
Smart man up here 👌
They were until their last album.
In today's class on rock music we will be covering the following topics:
Drug addiction
Jungian psychology
Math
And if we have enough time, inter-generational trauma. let us begin
When you write it like that it's kinda boring, it would be more like "the beauty of math".
@@jonsaltberry8167 that's the point, the difference between an accurate description and the music itself is meant to be amusing 🙂
Tool was the catalyst of my spiritual and philosophical awakening. Jungian? yes, i am.
When Tool does it it's called Maths.
This has got to be the best and most entertaining reaction to Lateralus i've ever seen
aw thank you !! i love that song to no end
Tool are one of the greatest bands of all time.
Solo seguido por Soundgarden y Alice in Chains.
i'm feeling this
"I am just so grateful for my ears right now."
Yes.
Hafta say, whoever decided to recommend her to listen to these 3 songs, in this particular order, has true taste. Great distillation of 25 years of listening experience, perfect gateway druggist.
I was thinking the same thing, lol!
my patrons really hit the nail on the head
A tool reaction done the right way!! Continue this exact format, choose 3 songs from 3 different albums…great way to absorb one of the most talented groups ever
thank you :)
Call me old fashioned but I'm glad I just listened to the albums
You should listen to No Quarter by Led Zeppelin and then hear Tool's cover.
Agreed, its the only zeppelin cover ive heard thats any good, and it arguably is on par with the original.
Dont you dare be sober while listening too it 😁grab the wine!
@@JungleScene I guess you haven’t seen Heart perform stairway to heaven at the Kennedy center honors
@@JungleScene Have you heard mastodons cover of stairway to heaven?
It’s not the original ofc, but still great.
It's like drinking the best wine you ever had and then immediately drinking an ever better one!
You need to listen to the whole of Lateralus in order... That album is all as good as that song.
And then listen to the Holy Gift order, just for good measure!
no waaaaaayyyyy OMG
@@igorcruz5869 there is no holy gift order. It’s made up. They say listen as intended.
@@Humanipathic Of course it's made up. It is a fun piece of fan lore added to the band and I see no issue into doing it. It's not like it will ruin the experience or anything. Just like listening to that combined track from 10000 days - not something oficial, but cool nonetheless.
Me when a young person is enthusiastically discovering a love of Tool: 😁
Me when "this album is as old as I am": 💀
Opeth could be cool.
They are progressive and death metal at the same time. Would be a good introduction to the death metal genre.
Yes, I specially like the "acoustic" and softer songs, they're in my top 10 alongside tool.
So good they are definitely in my top 10
Tool is a MUST for every "prog lovers"!!! Or just every "music lovers"!
glad i checked them out this early!
@@kirawasareactor Never too late to find another great band, especially if it's TOOL🔧🔧!
I love your channel so much, and wish my friends would love music as much as you🤘🎸
Best accent + best energy + legitimate thoughts on the art.
S tier reactor.
Parabol/Parabola and The Pot are a few of my favorites, and are definitely worth checking out.
The tracks Parabol and Parabola bleed into each other, and deserve to be listened to as one song. Loved the reaction!
I mean... It's Tool, it's hard not to appreciate when you are open about music and willing to sit down and just listen to it.
In the beginning, you don't "process" TOOL... You ABSORB for a while... then it starts to process and sort itself out from within you when you are ready to begin understanding. Ironically, about the time you reach that point, you find there were numerous other doors you didn't know existed that start to open and flood you with brand new emotions and feelings and understandings. TOOL is the ultimate rabbit hole of mental and spiritual exploration through music.
i cant even tell if this comment is real
@@barneylegendary9601 Why is that?
@@J.R.Steel85 I suggest you googling something along the line of "Tool fans stereotypes". Then doing some self-reflection.
Tool does a great cover of Led Zeppelin's "No Quarter". You have to do a reaction to that, you'll love it to say the least
YESSS!!!!
Tool are just above most other bands. Odd time signatures, tribal drums, weaving through different moods and tones as smooth as two sticks of melted butter. Each musician brings something interesting and unique to the sound. I really enjoy the way they make slight changes to the verse of chorus each time they play it, so it sounds slightly different but holds the song. Keep listening to them. Keep digging. My favorite song is Stinkfist off Aenima, but Pneuma off the new album Fear Innoculum is probably one of the best songs musicianship-wise I have ever heard. There's a video on YT of Danny Carey playing the drums live on the song Pneuma, and it is awe-inspiring how intricate and complex it is. It will blow you away.
Youre so fun to watch as a reactor! Youre making me pumped about listening certain songs and its always so cool to watch people react to Tool for the first time. They trully are a treasure!
Yeeeeessss! I’ve been waiting for this day!
Omg I love your energy! You’re amazing - subbed!
You are so fun to watch discovering the music I've loved for ages.
Tool is such an amazing band and witnessing such an honest, emotional reaction was great🤘 I'm definitely looking forward to your next Tool reaction🤘
I'd sell my soul to re-discover Tool all over again (and some other bands too but mainly Tool). But I'll have to settle with seeing other people discovering this band... it's a joy to watch.
The depth of Tool both lyrically and musically is astounding. Metaphysics, philosophy, angst, anger... Maynard has such a powerful presentation. He lived his music on stage. Highly recommend watching a live video, it will be even more impressive!
I'm loving your joy and enthusiasm for these tracks
I love her energy! Awesome video!
You've hooked me in. Love your energy!
Nice energy, i love this!
Watching you react to this has made me so happy. I haven't listened to TOOL in years but seeing the joy on your face as you discovered them is making me want to get back into them. Thank you.
Your enthusiasm has got me digging back into all the Tool albums once again. Thank so much.
Might be the best reaction video I've seen. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Your channel struck gold with the '3 Best Songs' reactions. Great content 👌
This was such a great first reaction to Tool, your analysis of each song was so good for only one listen. I’m so happy you found them :)
I love how you're building your music taste because it's getting better and better with every reaction. This is why we watch this videos, to visualy feel the same things we felt when we first discover the bands that shaped our lives. Can't wait you to find Deftones.
After looking through your video catalogue, I have to say I'm really impressed with the variety of bands and genres you are covering. Really glad to see someone doing different songs than all the other reactors are.
Yes!!!! That reaction at the end of Lateralus, welcome to Tool army officially! It makes me so happy because that's probably the song I've played most times in my life with the guitar. I strongly recommend you to do 'Stinkfist', 'H', 'Aenema', 'Vicarious', 'Jambi', and there's a live version of 'Third Eye' in 'Salival EP' which has a more chilled approach than the one in 'Aenima' album and you'll certainly enjoy it. The singer Maynard James Keenan has several side projects which are as nice as Tool but in a different way. Check the bands A Perfect Circle and Puscifer. And pay attention to the lyrics, he says some deep interesting stuff occasionally :)
Yes, Tool!
Can't watch/listen now, looking forward!
Was wondering when this would happen, as you're getting earlier.
Don't think Opeth should be next but i am looking forward to that day!
yep Opeth is on the long list
Awesome, Thanx.
Just checked, Porcupine tree was founded earlier than Opeth, and i think will be a easier to listen to band for you.
And one of my personal favorites that I think you'll like. (also the singers/writers of the bands are friends and worked together a lot)
So, "Arriving somewhere but not here", by Porcupine tree would be my suggestion for first. Or anesthetize. In this general genre (if they fit in one).
Man I can’t wait for Opeth but yeah haha, might not be ready yet (but once it happens, oh man).
@@kirawasareactor I recommend moving them to the short list.
I relate to all of your reactions. Keep on rocking my gal
You seem genuinely delighted. :) that's cool
Your energy is absolutely contagious!
OMG I loved your reaction and I'm just on the first song. You look like a reaction to tool should look. The emotion, the build up. Amazing!
Tool opened me up to a lot of music I didn't appreciate before. Idk what they do or how they do it but they do it. Happy to see that you love them.
Same
I feel like this channel now is just Kira being like "OMG THIS IS SO HEAVY I'M NOT READY FOR THIS!!" and everyone's just like "NO IT'S NOT WHAT DO YOU MEAN? COME ON KIRA YOU'RE READY FOR DEATH METAL!!"
And it's great
Wow, I'm so happy I stumbled across your reaction videos! Seeing your raw emotion and enthusiastic response feels like I'm hearing these songs for the first time all over again! Eerily strange connection, like I'm watching a part of myself live throigg you but holy helll, I totally dig it! I'm a fan for sure, keep it rolling!
You goober lol I loved the review. Your excitement is contagious and that sensation when a new sound vibrates with you is like nothing else. So happy this band sings to you right now and Im excited to see more thoughtful reactions by you from this fab band. Have a good one.
I get super happy watching your videos, reactions:)
Keep up the hard work, and keep being you!
Lovin the excitement
Greetings from Spain😀... It's funny how you're discovering the good music.... Keep going... You hace a new fan
That's exactly how I felt the first time I listened to Tool. Great reaction as always!
This is one of the Best tool reaction ever , i love it !!! Bless
Great post. Cheers from Canada!
Welcome to the club! Love your reactions, so genuine. Do 'the pot' from tool :)
thank you! yes more TOOL soon hopefully
From Tool I would recommend: Pushit, Stinkfist, Vicarious, and 7empest
I would leave 7empest to someone more used to tool, It can be boring to someone new to the band
These reaction are gold. There's so much I want to see you react to now haha
Now that you've heard Sober, check out the only live version of the song on RUclips that wasn't recorded on a phone. Sober proshot '93. And you will like Right in Two which is on one of their later albums.
Lol it looks like it's Been filmed with a phone
This is the band I've been waiting for since you started this channel. Worth the wait.
lmao this fucking rules, love this for you. I recommend "The Pot" and "Vicarious"
Your reaction to Lateralus reminded me of mine when I listened to it for the first time. Lovely personality, you, lady, just won a sub!
Yo, I saw these guys at the Sydeny Entertainment Centre (when it still existed in 2002!) and I swear to god when they got to that final outro on Lateralus it serious felt like they blew the roof off the place.
You may be the most adorable human alive lol. Absolutely loved the genuine insanity you went through during Lateralus. Someone else down here in the comments said that was the most authentic Tool reaction and I would have to agree. Keep the journey going hon.👍 Cheers from the US.
Sober was the first song that got me into modern metal, and I was just as excited as you were when i heard Lateralus. I loved seeing how it was able to channel your emotions so strongly, and I can't wait to see more of you're reactions in the future!!! If you end up listening to more Tool in the future (judging from your reaction I'm pretty sure you will) I'd recommend "H." from Ænima, "Parabol" and "Parabola" from Lateralus, (they're techinically different songs put they run into each other and should really be consumed as one) and "The Pot" from 10,000 Days. Once again amazing reaction and I can't wait to see more!
You are so much fun 😌🙏

Tool is a roller coaster. They're kind of like AC/DC in the fact that you know a Tool song when you hear it, but unlike AC'DC, with Tool, you never know what you're going to get. I love everything the band has done. Once you become a Tool fan, you will forever remain a Tool fan. 46 & 2 was my favorite Tool song until I heard Jambi off of the album 10,000 Days. It's super heavy, but so good. Happy Tool hunting!
AC/DC WISHES they wrote what Tool have been able to
@@rossmusic25 I seriously doubt that. I think they just wish their two best members didn't die. I like to pretend everything from Back in black onwards never existed. Bon had the charisma and created a sounds that was never heard before, that was both electrifying, bluesy and risque as hell.
@@JustinMcVicar ACDC fucking blows
I always fall in a trance when TOOL comes on. Loving the lyrical analysis btw. Definitely appropriate to do that with this band.
Tool 🔧 are real solid & did right by 80's legends Killing Joke by taking them out as opening act on their 2019 tour. The word of the day is - Angst 🎸
J'aurai adoré voir ça !
Love your REACTION
what a great reaction/breakdown
Welcome to the world of Tool... Absolutely blows my mind every time. Absolutely genius!
Yeeeeessss! I’ve been waiting for this day forever !
BAHAHAH my channel only started 9 months ago!
@@kirawasareactor yes but technically kirawasalsoadiver a couple of years ago andstillis xD
And a new Tool fan is born! I loved your reaction, that was so awesome!!!
Might I suggest vicarious, stink fist, and aenima.
Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater could be great bands to react.
Agreed, especially Dream Theater!
yes DT are high up on my prog metal list!
Yes! Porcupine Tree please!
I second Ptree!
@@kirawasareactor I like prog metal but I have a problem getting into some cause it feels so "cold" and unemotional, but that's me. I love guitar but some get too technical and that just removes the emotion from the playing.
Would be interesting to see how you feel about this as you hear more of these bands.
Congratulations, you’re now in the TOOL Army!! Can’t wait to get mor TOOL Content. And since your so lit, I’d love to see you react to PANTERA
2 minutes into this video and I had to already give it a like 👍🏼
Your reaction is contagious
I fucking love it 🤩🤘🏼
I’m happy that you’re happy. These guys are so incredible to see live, I highly recommend it if you ever get the chance. Other great Tool songs include (but are not limited to) Crawl Away off Undertow, Eulogy off Ænima, and Parabol/Parabola off Lateralus. Enjoy! Their albums are really well constructed and flow sumptuously from track to track, so this is a band I strongly recommend full album listens if that’s something you think you would like.
The future of rock is in good hands. Your enthusiasm for the music is infectious.
I love the way Kira brings unbiased discovery to her listening. She seems really authentic and sweet.
Fellow music lover, fellow aussie. Subbed :) keep em coming.
SO happy that you have discovered my fave all time band .....TOOL completely changed the way i listen to music . there are no other bands like tool ...you dont listen to tool you experience it ... Ride the spiral and see you down the rabbit hole..
Just wanted to add I really find it refreshing and enjoy a lot how much that your reaction feels so very authentic and genuine and I appreciate your intelligence and enthusiasm and the feeling that you're not someone who has watched a lot of other reactors and is just trying to emulate the style, presentation, and format of what others have done who were able to achieve a respectable amount of money and popularity because you see an opportunity to become profitable and successful too.
I loved this video ❤
This band really respects your time and encourages you to stick it all the way through, showing you how much beautiful moments are once you wait it out.
That was the best reaction to Lateralus that I've ever watched., and have seen a bunch. Spiral Out!!!
Im so happy
You gotta watch Sober live ("Tool - Sober Live (Pro Shot) Remastered"). Maynard vocals are center stage and he is just incredible there. Imagine the album chills, but like 4.6 times bigger.
how much you love to learn
so inspiring
thank you
all the best
to all
Tool is my favorite band and it's always exciting getting to _vicariously_ (you'll get that soon enough I hope 😉) hear their songs for the first time again through reactions! I have a couple suggestions, one being a song and the other being about the editing/cutting; my favorite Tool song (and favorite song period) is 7empest, it's a longer ride but it is perfect; I also recommend that you show the whole reaction to the whole song as Tool's songs really are a journey and the jumps are a little uncomfortable (if that's not something you'll do in general, it would mean a lot to me if your reaction to 7empest is uncut, if you do in fact react to it) NEW SUB!
Finally! Prog Metal is my fav, very varied genre!!
The best thing about Kira is. You’ll be scrolling and looking at random videos abd you’ll be like. “Yeah I need some serotonin I’ll watch Kira”.
Your reactions were absolutely accurate. welcome to the tool family.
The track Lateralus is a masterpiece.. IMO. As a matter of fact, the same could be said about the entire album
Their best by far. Couldn't really get into 10000 Days nearly as much. I think Aenima and Lateralus definitely have my fav songs from them.
3 Tool hits in one reaction video?
I also like to live dangerously 😏
wow... you've just started your Tool journey - i did that in 1993 with Undertow, they still blow my mind and are amazing live Respect & Peace
I just got into Tool two years ago! Such great music!
Your Reaction to Sober and the way you jammed to it gained you my loyalty!!😁😁
I must say, I love your red-shirt Start Trek outfit! As if it portrays some kind of metaphor...
Love watching toolgasams!
