There’s so much hate in these comments, and I just want to say Wicca is as real to us as Christianity is to you, if you can even wrap your head around that. Blessed be )O(
I'm a Christian, too, and have noticed some similarities between Christianity and witchcraft like prayer and intention-setting and spells. The thing the keeps me from practicing both is that pagans place more emphasis on the creation rather than the Creator.
There is a great book out there that I forget the title of but it is written by/about a woman who is both catholic and Wiccan. She talks about how they overlap and about how she doesn't see them as mutually exclusive religions. But I am happy to learn about any religion and happy to see other people open to learning as well no matter what you personally choose to believe.
I remember once when I was a ignorant and thought Wiccans were crazy evil satanists.. but I never was so mean that write or say a hate comment on the religion! Blessed be )o( and be strong these words don't matter
I was the same way. But honestly, wicca has given me more liberty and happiness than Christianity. It has given me so much hope and is teaching me self love. I've found what I love. Blessed be. )O(
Having been raised in the strange, historically violent, blood cult of christianity, I finally began to search for myself. I guess I really had let go of the whole virgin-impregnated-by-a-ghost concept before high school. The problem with Wicca in modern culture is you don't have a close community of believers with that deep connection to the earth, as they did long ago in whole Pagan communities. It takes more motivation, when constantly bombarded from all sides with everything christian in our modern world. If there are close-knit Wiccan community settings, they sure are hard to find. Seeking out other Wiccans often leads to meeting some real weirdos. In our present time, perhaps it must remain a personal and solitary relationship with the earth. Unfortunate. The strange blood cults abound in many forms, that ironically look at Wicca and its believers as the ones who are disconnected, strange, out of touch, or even evil. How sad.
I love having fun on the holiday seasons if I wasn't lonely wondering why I feel lost without people in my community I feel I belong with if they accept me in it if they knew how desperate I was to be accepted by others
If we really dig deeper we can discover that by nature we celebrate the passage of the year in our own way which links to some witchcraft. For example talking and understanding animals. Spring cleaning or lighting a candle for prayers. These are in some ways inter locked with ancient religions before Christ saved the earth.😊
Eas0587 you're right wicca has been around longer , I was trying to say they mingled occult traditions into American culture and worst I see American christianity celebrating traditions unknowingly for 200 years maybe longer !

sylvester Hate, oh I mean Hale. I guess Jesus loves but you don't. Why don't you try following his example you would then have a little more credibility with your beliefs. Brightest Blessings
SNOW DEER I know this is from a while ago but Wicca is a belief just like Christianity. Please respect it because in our minds, we believe that Wicca is the true religion but you can believe differently. It’s a personal choice for each person
fat free yogurt your judging a group instead of an individual. Same thing as Some bad cops make all cops bad. Or 3 people of a certain race steals and our mind tells ourselves, “that whole race steals.”. This way of thinking is called hasty generalization.
@@ffy0000 lol yeah most christians are extremist with their views. I used to be muslim and no muslim ive ever met was pushy with their beliefs. They honestly just like to discuss the differences. i think many christians are insecure with their beliefs

Yes it saddens me to see this let send healing lite of understanding
And to me as someone who doesn't believe either it sounds like two people arguing about whether rocks or an invisible man in the sky can heal you.
I am a Christian, but Wicca is such a beautiful and pure religion.
Olivia Andrews I'm glad that you can live and let live, unlike so many of your brethren, you're one of the kinder Christians in these comments
Joy Rowan Casey why thank you ❤️
Doesn't sound like a Christian answer...

Blessed Yule! 🌲🌑🕯

I really like Phyllis and her way of teaching, describing, and relating to what she is saying.
I can respect her, easily.

Did she just say beltane another occult holiday !
Holidays, you mean like Christmas?
P0werJack well, Christianity appropriated Yule to make Christmas
Yule is about giving to and helping others in need.
Christmas seems to be about candy and recieving... just like all Christian holidays.. sadly..
