Dont worry about 'educating yourself'. This is all made up around 50 years ago by some guy. Its very vaguely based on a variety of european traditions. 'Education' makes it sound like there is a set of facts that you have to / should get right, but there really isnt on this subject.
I wouldn’t consider myself pagan but I think paganism is beautiful so I’ve been doing research into it and taking any practices I like. I’ve been observing the moon cycle and celebrating the full moons, and in terms of the 8 sabbaths I’ve only been celebrating the equinoxes and solstices and I’m loving it! Even though I’m not spiritual in any way, nature and astronomy is undeniable and it helps me connect with Mother Nature and have something to look forward to!
I live in an Eastern Orthodox household, but my mom personally identifies as a witch. She would often say "now is a good time for new beginnings" or "now is a time for self reflection" and it never made any sense to me. Well, until now. Thank you!
i looooved your point about tweaking the wheel of the year to your own schedule and energy. i tried really hard after midsummer last year to celebrate every sabbat, but fell short of one or two. its exhausting when regular life is going on, so i give myself grace when i don’t have much energy. 😅

Indigenous Australians have different seasons to the western world as well, and they are linked to changes in plants and animals. It would make more sense for us to use those seasons in Australia. Maybe we will one day.
It Certainly would. I live in Former Osage and Creek Woodland in North America, which latterly was Chatah and Cherokee, whereas, i am Scots-Irish and Saxon. I feel out my environment, and do accordingly. I Honor the North American Spirits best i can after 300 years here, and suggest you do the same down yonder.

That's so interesting! My husband is agnostic and somewhat follows the pattern of celebrating the seasons. He doesn't quite view it as nature worship the way that I do, but rather acknowledging nature's effect on our lives in a scientific manner. I just really love that even outside of Paganism, Atheists and Agnostics can find relevance in celebrating the seasonal cycles too.

Just a tid bit for those curious, the actual origin, The wheel of the year was originally created in the 1800s by a man named Jacob grimm. While it's not the Contemporary version, it's a great learning tool to start studies for anyone not specifically interested in Wicca.
So, up until now I've always thought myself to be an atheist. Monotheistic religions (as well as their churches/institutions) always rubbed me the wrong way. The Greek and Roman Pantheon felt better for me, but more like a fantasy book than something I wanted to participate in. And I would have been alright with staying atheist, but I always really missed something like that in my life and I've also always been a firm believer of just nature (it's hard to explain). When I read up on Norse mythology I really liked that, but I didn't really want to make the worship of a deity or deities the center of my beliefs, because I don't really believe In them. Recently however I stumbled upon paganism in a story and thought "wait is that really a thing because that just sounds right". And I really like the idea of celebrating like that and following these ideas of nature and connections to it that I have seen while researching it. I'm particularly interested in Yule, Samhain, Ostara and Litha since I like the Yule celebrations and they seem to be compatible with Christmas, the idea of Samhain is great and I love Halloween, I was born on Ostara and Litha is something my mother has taught me to celebrate in a pagan way (without my knowledge) and I want to refine that. I'm really happy to start out and am glad I found your channel. I just had to share that with someone.

I just started my journey as a wiccan and this video was so helpful. Reading about the sabbats, their meanings, it was all making my head spin. I have a busy life at home and at work, how will I make time to celebrate them all??? Knowing that I can adapt and choose accordingly to what speaks to me was a relief to say the least. The freedom, personalization, and individuality of wicca makes me love it and this journey more and more each day 😊
In Poland we have actual santa with actual name. We making the history.. folklore.. to remember.. uh word's! Basically called Mikołaj (Mikoway for u eng) and he was giving to the poor and all that giving giving so to keep him in memory we got gifts and other day before Christmas Mikołajki for all guy's with that name. Just lil thing we have 😅
I have late Emphysema, and drink for the wrong reasons...the Wheel is, hopefully, going to help me get back to Health and Light in my declining years. I absolutely love how clear your video content is. Your jazzy tunes are so up my alley. I relate to a lot of the info and have created a personal Wheel of thcraft a little while ago. I am African American from the South so shifting a lot of the correspondences made sense. Im also not Wiccan so again correspondences are different but I love it all and making it fit for my craft makes our practices more our own. Gotta love the craft!

I was looking up Pagan holidays and was so impressed with your video I subscribed. May I ask a question? I know that often sacrifices are made upon Halloween or May Day to harness these energies - my question is, to whom are the sacrifices being made, and if that energy (sacrifice) does not resonate with you, is it still ok to celebrate Halloween? In other words my entire life I've loved Halloween, I go all out with porcelain Jack-o-lanterns and scarecrows and witches and ghosts. I've always viewed it as a happy holiday. It's only recently come to my attention that ritual sacrifice occurs on this day, I don't wish to unintentionally give it power. Thank you.
Sacrifices were often deity-specific. They are not at all common nowadays, but I would imagine some people do still practice them. I'm certainly not one of those people lol But for the most part, sacrifice was used by ancient Pagans as an offering to a specific deity, so if you wish to make an offering to a deity (if you work with one, which you don't have to) you can absolutely make one without sacrificing anything. Find out what foods they like and late out an offering plate or find out what incense they like and burn it. You can absolutely still celebrate without making any sacrifices or offerings at all if you don't work with deity or if your deity doesn't hold a particular sabbat as significant. The energy is still there, you can honor it with decorations and harness it through ritual and/or activities (I have a whole playlist on my channel for the sabbats on how to celebrate each one). For example, for Midsummer, I honored the sun and then harnessed its power to perform a wish ritual. I hope this helps! Don't worry too much, sacrifice is definitely not the norm anymore and you aren't doing anything wrong by celebrating the sabbats.

Certain things stand out to me in this modern age, and you taking the time for an in-depth and thoughtful reply definitely stands out to me! It shows an intuitive intelligence and a presence that is not the norm anymore. You may be too young to remember, but back in the early 90's River Phoenix "died" on Halloween night at a bar called the viper room. Rumors swirled that it wasn't just an innocent drug overdose, but rather he was sacrificed by Johnny Depp and other members of Hollywood in a Satanic ritual gone awry. This was 30 years ago but it always creeped me out. I've always been hyper aware of Solstices and Equinoxes, just the energies alone that these celestial time markers carry is pure magic. What led me to your video(s) was sheer curiosity looking up the Pagan holidays. It struck me that on a wheel of the year Samhain is directly opposite of Beltane (May Day). Kind of like a balance thing. Balancing out the energies. I didn't want to unintentionally give power to a day that had sacrificial undertones. I think, though, as with anything in life, it's that which you give your attention to that manifests. So if my intention on Samhain is the "happy" factor of porcelain Jack-o-lanterns and scarecrows, and merely honoring the magic that's in the air, I'll only reap that which I've sown: happiness. =-] Those who delve into the darker aspects of these holidays, including ritual sacrifice, may be dealing with forces beyond their comprehension; caution is advised...
Lol I 100% agree! I personally don't observe the sabbats by the Wiccan belief system, I just have that background info in the video for further education for others. Not to insult any Wiccans, but yes that seems a little odd to me.

But I got what you said about the other Sabbaths and I agree with what you said in the end. I want to celebrate all of them bc I'm new to paganism but I think I will have favourite celebrations later to which I will dedicate more. Universe is made of Masculine and Feminine Energies...the Energies matter, not any God or Goddess names. Fem is Threefold, Masc is also, but somewhat ignored. It is Energies...not so much Entities.
this may be silly but i’m just slightly confused. I’ve been thinking of taking the wiccan path for awhile and i’ve been learning about the wheel of the year. Definitely resonates with me so i love that. But when it talks about the Goddess transitioning from mother to crone for example, do i interpret that same depiction of the goddess as the deity that i currently work with? Sounds confusing. What i mean is, let’s say i work with Aphrodite, would i interpret her into the wheel of the year and the symbolic meanings of the sabbats? Same with the god as well. Would i interpret Apollo (for example) dying during Samhain and then him being rebirthed by the Goddess (Aphrodite) during Yule? Might be a silly or obvious question but it’s always good to ask. I currently don’t work with a deity, i’m just learning about the beliefs of them
Not a silly question at all! I'm not Wiccan myself, but I know that for many the God and Goddess are basically symbols for whatever you want. You can fill in your chosen deities, keep them as ambiguous gods or higher powers, focus more on one than the other, the list goes on. There are a lot of different ways to observe the god and goddess so it works for your beliefs.

Can you talk about misconceptions about witchcraft? I am a baby witch too and im from a very Christian household/country (our country actually practiced paganism/witchcraft before it was colonised and influenced by Catholicism which is kinda ironic) and I noticed that there's so many misconceptions about it which also made me guilty at first :( but I've gained a little understanding about it and the craft amazes me so much now.
If you are Young...Witchcraft feels like some Individuation that must be defended and explained. It is part of the Path, certainly, but nowhere near as frightening or troublesome as you may suspect. Christian does NOT mean STUPID. Do YOU...and you shall find your way through all Labyrinths.
This might be a dumb question but can i call these religious holidays in regards to work and asking for time off. Like is that something that will/can be respected or do i just have to hope they let me have the day off. Ive never tried before and from experience wiccan/pagan/witch practices are not very happily accepted by others. (At least not where i live)
If you are in the US and your employer has 15 or more employees then they must make reasonable accommodations for employees’ religious observances, according the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. I think it is absolutely worth sitting down with your boss with a list of the sabbats and making the request.
in the US you often can...just do not be afraid to talk to HR....most large Companies are fine with it, and Service Sector often is if you trade off and work on Christian or Cultural Holidays in exchange for your Feast Days off. I generally just bring it up as soon as i get my onboarding paperwork...never had an issue, and i am 50 years Heathen, lol! Never even had to mention Religion...just said i need these 8 days free, and am happy to work any and all other days.
I am so confused, some Wiccans say The Wheel of the Year is a Wiccan tradition but I always thought it's pagan and that's the umbrella term under which Wiccan and witchcraft falls... Right? Because now I don't know if I should celebrate the feasts as a beginner witch (non-Wiccan) or not 😔
This is a great question. So yes, Wicca falls under the umbrella of Paganism. The Wheel of the Year, as we know it today, was primarily designed by the founders of Wicca (check out this video for more on that: ruclips.net/video/1vr33R7sJdw/видео.html ). However, a lot of the ways we celebrate today are based on what we know of ancient Pagan traditions (and some customs that come from Christianization because those lines are very blurred in historical record). I did a whole series on the history of each sabbat that will go into further detail for each one (check out my playlist Sabbats & Esbats and look for the titles that start with "The History of..."). I say, celebrate the ones you want to celebrate or all of them if you like! It's okay if you're not Wiccan because the customs are not entirely Wiccan anyway. I hope that helps!
all of these points in the Year are FAR MORE ANCIENT than Gardener, Ferrar, or Bridey Murphy even. Wicca is NeoPaganism, just as reconstructive Heathenry is. Nobody knows for Certain how any PreChristian European Faith was practiced, save somewhat Roman, Greek, and Slavic.

why is it hard to find pagan information without wiccan beliefs? im trying to connect to pagan roots and was wondering the calender and phases. i understand different people follow the same things but i cant find a way to find resources that focus on pagan roots... frustrated as abeginner

After watching... im wondering... If one spent each day the first couple of weeks after a sabbat celebrating its significance... then each day, leading up, accumulating a small piece to ultimately celebrate the next... If it would create a flow in the wheel... 🤔

I love the idea of a life cycle narrative being played out across the wheel of the year. However, I do find the version of this God / Goddess lifecycle to be illogical. The Goddess has the Maiden Mother Crone aspects - its simple, sequential, and its clear what they symbolise. Yet in the Wheel of the Year, we have the Crone being pregnant, and being the one to give birth (face palm), then becoming a Maiden again (?) and generally going back and fourth between Maiden and Mother. Do you have any ideas as to conceiving of an alternate version that makes more sense?

The 8 Sabbats have very long histories far more Ancient than Wicca. Solar Feasts and Equinoxes come from either Farming or Herding Cultures...the 4 main Gaelic Feasts are a bit of both. I am no Wiccan, but i have studied it extensively. My Volkish Animism is punctuated by these Feasts. I celebrate with Food, Drink, and Offerings to the Woodland Spirits where i live...the Gods are just in the Background. I've no interest in Priesthood....much as i adore Naked revelry about the Fires, and in the Orchards and Fields...i needn't be a Priest to do so, lol! BTW....ALL of you rely upon people who DO rely upon the Agricultural Wheel. Imbolc is my Father's Birthday...and, although i understand the Imbolc Sabbat well, i keep my Pop in mind (RIP) , and do my thing. My Magickal Practice...is not particularly bound to any tradition, as i am a Kaos Mage...but the Feasts are important to me.
To be honest, this is difficult to answer because it is a complex topic and also keep in mind that I am not Wiccan but I will answer to the best of my ability. In Wicca itself, there are heteronormative aspects. There are likely even books on Wicca that possibly have homophobic and transphobic elements to them, but I wouldn't hold that against all of Wicca as a religion and I don't know if that can be said of the original Wiccan teachings from the 1950s. There are past and present groups, sects, practitioners, and covens that are discriminatory, particularly ones that exclude trans members. However, again, Wicca as a whole cannot be blamed for that. I would compare it to neo-Nazis and white supremacists being followers of Norse Pagan religions and similar regional faiths. Norse Paganism is not a bigoted faith itself but bigots have been drawn to it. I think people who are already phobic against the LGBTQ+ community will use the Wiccan God and Goddess (binary duality and heternormativity) in order to justify excluding members of the LGBTQ+ community. But that doesn't mean Wicca itself or all Wiccans are discriminatory. I hope that answers your question. (If any actual Wiccan practitioners and/or members of the LGBTQ+ community come across this comment and have anything to add or disagree with aspects of what I said, please feel free to share your thoughts here.)

So, up until now I've always thought myself to be an atheist. Monotheistic religions (as well as their churches/institutions) always rubbed me the wrong way. The Greek and Roman Pantheon felt better for me, but more like a fantasy book than something I wanted to participate in. And I would have been alright with staying atheist, but I always really missed something like that in my life and I've also always been a firm believer of just nature (it's hard to explain). When I read up on Norse mythology I really liked that, but I didn't really want to make the worship of a deity or deities the center of my beliefs, because I don't really believe In them. Recently however I stumbled upon paganism in a story and thought "wait is that really a thing because that just sounds right". And I really like the idea of celebrating like that and following these ideas of nature and connections to it that I have seen while researching it. I'm particularly interested in Yule, Samhain, Ostara and Litha since I like the Yule celebrations and they seem to be compatible with Christmas, the idea of Samhain is great and I love Halloween, I was born on Ostara and Litha is something my mother has taught me to celebrate in a pagan way (without my knowledge) and I want to refine that. I'm really happy to start out and am glad I found your channel. I just had to share that with someone.

I just started my journey as a wiccan and this video was so helpful. Reading about the sabbats, their meanings, it was all making my head spin. I have a busy life at home and at work, how will I make time to celebrate them all??? Knowing that I can adapt and choose accordingly to what speaks to me was a relief to say the least. The freedom, personalization, and individuality of wicca makes me love it and this journey more and more each day 😊
In Poland we have actual santa with actual name. We making the history.. folklore.. to remember.. uh word's! Basically called Mikołaj (Mikoway for u eng) and he was giving to the poor and all that giving giving so to keep him in memory we got gifts and other day before Christmas Mikołajki for all guy's with that name. Just lil thing we have 😅

I have late Emphysema, and drink for the wrong reasons...the Wheel is, hopefully, going to help me get back to Health and Light in my declining years. I absolutely love how clear your video content is. Your jazzy tunes are so up my alley. I relate to a lot of the info and have created a personal Wheel of thcraft a little while ago. I am African American from the South so shifting a lot of the correspondences made sense. Im also not Wiccan so again correspondences are different but I love it all and making it fit for my craft makes our practices more our own. Gotta love the craft!

Love this video! I will say that the idea of the wheel of the year isn't entirely contemporary! Solstices and equinoxes have been around for thousands of years and have been celebrated by our ancestors for a long time :)

I was looking up Pagan holidays and was so impressed with your video I subscribed. May I ask a question? I know that often sacrifices are made upon Halloween or May Day to harness these energies - my question is, to whom are the sacrifices being made, and if that energy (sacrifice) does not resonate with you, is it still ok to celebrate Halloween? In other words my entire life I've loved Halloween, I go all out with porcelain Jack-o-lanterns and scarecrows and witches and ghosts. I've always viewed it as a happy holiday. It's only recently come to my attention that ritual sacrifice occurs on this day, I don't wish to unintentionally give it power. Thank you.
Sacrifices were often deity-specific. They are not at all common nowadays, but I would imagine some people do still practice them. I'm certainly not one of those people lol But for the most part, sacrifice was used by ancient Pagans as an offering to a specific deity, so if you wish to make an offering to a deity (if you work with one, which you don't have to) you can absolutely make one without sacrificing anything. Find out what foods they like and late out an offering plate or find out what incense they like and burn it.
You can absolutely still celebrate without making any sacrifices or offerings at all if you don't work with deity or if your deity doesn't hold a particular sabbat as significant. The energy is still there, you can honor it with decorations and harness it through ritual and/or activities (I have a whole playlist on my channel for the sabbats on how to celebrate each one). For example, for Midsummer, I honored the sun and then harnessed its power to perform a wish ritual.
I hope this helps! Don't worry too much, sacrifice is definitely not the norm anymore and you aren't doing anything wrong by celebrating the sabbats.

You may be too young to remember, but back in the early 90's River Phoenix "died" on Halloween night at a bar called the viper room. Rumors swirled that it wasn't just an innocent drug overdose, but rather he was sacrificed by Johnny Depp and other members of Hollywood in a Satanic ritual gone awry. This was 30 years ago but it always creeped me out. I've always been hyper aware of Solstices and Equinoxes, just the energies alone that these celestial time markers carry is pure magic. What led me to your video(s) was sheer curiosity looking up the Pagan holidays. It struck me that on a wheel of the year Samhain is directly opposite of Beltane (May Day). Kind of like a balance thing. Balancing out the energies.
I didn't want to unintentionally give power to a day that had sacrificial undertones. I think, though, as with anything in life, it's that which you give your attention to that manifests. So if my intention on Samhain is the "happy" factor of porcelain Jack-o-lanterns and scarecrows, and merely honoring the magic that's in the air, I'll only reap that which I've sown: happiness. =-] Those who delve into the darker aspects of these holidays, including ritual sacrifice, may be dealing with forces beyond their comprehension; caution is advised...

Lol I 100% agree! I personally don't observe the sabbats by the Wiccan belief system, I just have that background info in the video for further education for others. Not to insult any Wiccans, but yes that seems a little odd to me.

Universe is made of Masculine and Feminine Energies...the Energies matter, not any God or Goddess names. Fem is Threefold, Masc is also, but somewhat ignored. It is Energies...not so much Entities.

this may be silly but i’m just slightly confused. I’ve been thinking of taking the wiccan path for awhile and i’ve been learning about the wheel of the year. Definitely resonates with me so i love that. But when it talks about the Goddess transitioning from mother to crone for example, do i interpret that same depiction of the goddess as the deity that i currently work with? Sounds confusing. What i mean is, let’s say i work with Aphrodite, would i interpret her into the wheel of the year and the symbolic meanings of the sabbats? Same with the god as well. Would i interpret Apollo (for example) dying during Samhain and then him being rebirthed by the Goddess (Aphrodite) during Yule? Might be a silly or obvious question but it’s always good to ask. I currently don’t work with a deity, i’m just learning about the beliefs of them
Not a silly question at all! I'm not Wiccan myself, but I know that for many the God and Goddess are basically symbols for whatever you want. You can fill in your chosen deities, keep them as ambiguous gods or higher powers, focus more on one than the other, the list goes on. There are a lot of different ways to observe the god and goddess so it works for your beliefs.

Can you talk about misconceptions about witchcraft? I am a baby witch too and im from a very Christian household/country (our country actually practiced paganism/witchcraft before it was colonised and influenced by Catholicism which is kinda ironic) and I noticed that there's so many misconceptions about it which also made me guilty at first :( but I've gained a little understanding about it and the craft amazes me so much now.

If you are Young...Witchcraft feels like some Individuation that must be defended and explained. It is part of the Path, certainly, but nowhere near as frightening or troublesome as you may suspect. Christian does NOT mean STUPID. Do YOU...and you shall find your way through all Labyrinths.
This might be a dumb question but can i call these religious holidays in regards to work and asking for time off. Like is that something that will/can be respected or do i just have to hope they let me have the day off. Ive never tried before and from experience wiccan/pagan/witch practices are not very happily accepted by others. (At least not where i live)
If you are in the US and your employer has 15 or more employees then they must make reasonable accommodations for employees’ religious observances, according the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
I think it is absolutely worth sitting down with your boss with a list of the sabbats and making the request.
in the US you often can...just do not be afraid to talk to HR....most large Companies are fine with it, and Service Sector often is if you trade off and work on Christian or Cultural Holidays in exchange for your Feast Days off. I generally just bring it up as soon as i get my onboarding paperwork...never had an issue, and i am 50 years Heathen, lol! Never even had to mention Religion...just said i need these 8 days free, and am happy to work any and all other days.
I am so confused, some Wiccans say The Wheel of the Year is a Wiccan tradition but I always thought it's pagan and that's the umbrella term under which Wiccan and witchcraft falls... Right? Because now I don't know if I should celebrate the feasts as a beginner witch (non-Wiccan) or not 😔
This is a great question. So yes, Wicca falls under the umbrella of Paganism. The Wheel of the Year, as we know it today, was primarily designed by the founders of Wicca (check out this video for more on that: ruclips.net/video/1vr33R7sJdw/видео.html ). However, a lot of the ways we celebrate today are based on what we know of ancient Pagan traditions (and some customs that come from Christianization because those lines are very blurred in historical record). I did a whole series on the history of each sabbat that will go into further detail for each one (check out my playlist Sabbats & Esbats and look for the titles that start with "The History of..."). I say, celebrate the ones you want to celebrate or all of them if you like! It's okay if you're not Wiccan because the customs are not entirely Wiccan anyway. I hope that helps!

all of these points in the Year are FAR MORE ANCIENT than Gardener, Ferrar, or Bridey Murphy even. Wicca is NeoPaganism, just as reconstructive Heathenry is. Nobody knows for Certain how any PreChristian European Faith was practiced, save somewhat Roman, Greek, and Slavic.

why is it hard to find pagan information without wiccan beliefs? im trying to connect to pagan roots and was wondering the calender and phases. i understand different people follow the same things but i cant find a way to find resources that focus on pagan roots... frustrated as abeginner

I love the idea of a life cycle narrative being played out across the wheel of the year. However, I do find the version of this God / Goddess lifecycle to be illogical. The Goddess has the Maiden Mother Crone aspects - its simple, sequential, and its clear what they symbolise. Yet in the Wheel of the Year, we have the Crone being pregnant, and being the one to give birth (face palm), then becoming a Maiden again (?) and generally going back and fourth between Maiden and Mother. Do you have any ideas as to conceiving of an alternate version that makes more sense?

Yes! The Witch's Wheel of the Year by Jason Mankey. He writes a lot about the history, but it's such a good book and he helps draw the parallels between the ancient celebrations and today's.
A Witch's Bible Complete...Gerald Gardner and Janet Ferrar...also Graves's White Goddess if you wanna dive. Both very informative. Frazer's Golden Bough as well, but some weeding is required for that one, lol!

The 8 Sabbats have very long histories far more Ancient than Wicca. Solar Feasts and Equinoxes come from either Farming or Herding Cultures...the 4 main Gaelic Feasts are a bit of both. I am no Wiccan, but i have studied it extensively. My Volkish Animism is punctuated by these Feasts. I celebrate with Food, Drink, and Offerings to the Woodland Spirits where i live...the Gods are just in the Background. I've no interest in Priesthood....much as i adore Naked revelry about the Fires, and in the Orchards and Fields...i needn't be a Priest to do so, lol! BTW....ALL of you rely upon people who DO rely upon the Agricultural Wheel. Imbolc is my Father's Birthday...and, although i understand the Imbolc Sabbat well, i keep my Pop in mind (RIP) , and do my thing. My Magickal Practice...is not particularly bound to any tradition, as i am a Kaos Mage...but the Feasts are important to me.

Do Wicca discriminates the LGBTQ+ community?
To be honest, this is difficult to answer because it is a complex topic and also keep in mind that I am not Wiccan but I will answer to the best of my ability. In Wicca itself, there are heteronormative aspects. There are likely even books on Wicca that possibly have homophobic and transphobic elements to them, but I wouldn't hold that against all of Wicca as a religion and I don't know if that can be said of the original Wiccan teachings from the 1950s.
There are past and present groups, sects, practitioners, and covens that are discriminatory, particularly ones that exclude trans members. However, again, Wicca as a whole cannot be blamed for that.
I would compare it to neo-Nazis and white supremacists being followers of Norse Pagan religions and similar regional faiths. Norse Paganism is not a bigoted faith itself but bigots have been drawn to it. I think people who are already phobic against the LGBTQ+ community will use the Wiccan God and Goddess (binary duality and heternormativity) in order to justify excluding members of the LGBTQ+ community. But that doesn't mean Wicca itself or all Wiccans are discriminatory.
