This should have 5 million views plus and be viral. Put this on Netflix. You guys are so awesome. Appreciate the extreme conditions you went through. To combine the best technology, remote wilderness and your will power is phenomenal. I want one of those Toyota trucks! Thanks to my 3 brothers I grew up to be a tough girl who travels solo in the wilderness of the great north woods. Bravo and Encore!

Watched all three in one day. now I am all tuckered out from watching them cut all those trees. I had to take threes breaks, now I am going to toast a beer to you guys and rest some more. Glad everyone made it out safe. You could see the fatigue and minor mistakes setting in at the end, till the recon team made contact.
It is a shame, one good storm and it will be blocked for the next crew.

I truly love the Expedition Overland series of movies. They bring up a valid fuel consumption issue in these episodes. For offroad travel, I recommend diesel as the best milage with slow going. I own a Hummer H1 with a diesel and it sips fuel when offroad.... not so much on the highway however, it was not designed to be a road queen.

Guys, again!!! Wonderful series... Every night I come home to my LR3, outfitted, ready for adventure, but its that overall cost that keeps it planted for local expeditions only. I, as well as the others on here, envy the "second chance" you have been able to take. We also admire the fact that you are not squandering it; instead sharing it with the rest of us.

So I watched this when it first came out, but for the morale part what you have to remember is that you're re-forging the Mackenzie trail. You're mapping it, you're clearing it, you're remaking it as you go. Time and fuel aside, you're making it more accessible and more usable for those that come behind you.
With popularity comes better maintenance, even if that's for no other reason than there are others following in your footsteps. I just hope that those after you observer the same precautions and diligence as you do.

I was stationed in Alaska in the 80's and 90's and we spent a lot of time on bombing ranges along the Brooks Range in terrain similar to this. I'm amazed at what those Toyotas can do. So many times during this series when one of the vehicles' nose would start to go down in the bog I would cringe thinking there's no way that truck is making it through that. We lost a Gamma Goat to the Alaskan tundra once, that mud is no joke. Excellent series, I'm enjoying catching up working my way backwards. Alaska is next.

I am very impressed with the maturity and devotion to team. It was fun to watch how the team was strongest when all together as one. Nice job Clay in keeping a cool enough head to hear other ideas from the team in a moment when the consequences of each decision were all critical. It was clear that each member of the team was working to maintain productive dispositions. This was an excellent example of team dynamic working for the team instead of against it. Great job XO

THIS was so much better than the video series down to central America. While the previous expedition played out more like an advertisement for Toyota, this expedition was much more enjoyable to watch, and focused a lot more on the landscape you traveled through, your relationship together as a team, your trials and tribulations, and also featured some very nice glory shots of the Toyotas. The series played out a lot more in spirit like your Alaska trip, which was also very enjoyable to watch.Thank Guys, for documenting your travels. You truly are a pleasure to watch, and I can only hope that one day I will be able to take a similar sort of trip.

McKenzie didn't make it to the Pacific but fell short in Dean Channel aka the one yard line. He left from an already well established Fort Chipewyan deep in the interior and made a round trip of 2300 miles. Now compared to Lewis and Clark who left from Pittsburgh and traveled 7690 miles and actually made it to the Pacific. Lewis and Clark were the first to navigate entirely across North America and to the Pacific.

Thanks for sharing your trials and tribulations of the " GREASE TRAIL" . Being a kid who grew up in Quesnel and travelled the trail multiple times to Anahim with my family ( starting when I was 8 years old), it was great to see sites that I have not seen in over 40 years. Thank you!
A small suggestion I would make to you and anyone who might get the explorer itch, you need not travel with so much with equipment, technology and luxury. First nation peoples have been travelling that trail for hundreds of years...using their skills as horsemen, hunters and fishers. Portraying your trip as a military operations was somewhat entertaining, but not a fair portrayal of the people who came before you. Thanks again for capturing and sharing your trip, It brought back great memories for me and my family. A precious time when we were all young and exploring the wilderness of central British Columbia!
