- Greatest and loudest game I’ve ever attended. Here are some of the highlights during the Alabama at Tennessee game on October 15th, 2022. Enjoy.
Hearing the stadium sing Rocky Top, in person, is the most beautiful thing ever!

The best part of this video was the goalpost coming down to "Dixieland Delight".

They broke the Neyland sound record, it was 118 decibels but now it’s 125.4
Literally registered as an earthquake a full county away.
So happy for y’all. I endured countless people laughing at me when I said y’all were beating Bama this year. Glad it payed off. See y’all in a couple of weeks. And if we don’t win the natty, here’s hoping the vols do!

Funny thing. Last night my husband told Alexa to play Dixieland Delight by Alabama. I'd heard the song since I was a kid. He mentioned he'd never heard it before. I said, You're kidding? Never? He said no because he refused to listen to any music by a band named Alabama. Y'all, he's 57. People don't get how old and deep this rivalry can be to native Tennesseans. Cracked me up.
Same with us UGA fans, when Alabama beat us in the 2012 SEC championship my brother wouldn’t even step foot in Alabama for a few years when we’d go on vacation to Florida

I totally agree! I’ve been to well over 200 Tennessee games in my life. I was at Miracle In South Bend (91); Sugar Bowl (86); Florida & Arkansas (98). That said, October 15, 2022 now surpasses them all for me personally. That was THE GREATEST GAME I have ever seen personally.

In 1959, LSU came into Neyland undefeated and ranked #1 in the country they had the best running back in the country, Billy Cannon...Tennessee was ahead 14 -7 in the 4th when LSU scored to make it 14-13...LSU went for 2 with Billy Cannon running the ball...HE WAS STOPPED AT THE ONE YARD LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@Slocusfocus According to the ESPN app, attendance was 101,915 out of 102,455. You can find it at the bottom of Alabama/Tennessee final score game page.
@@ethangrigsby3697 gotcha. That's because neyland was renovated this past year, it only holds 101,915 now. ESPN just hasn't updated their max capacity for Neyland yet. They reported it as sold out, just have the wrong capacity lol
I know atleast 15 people who snuck in, there was probably 107,000 in there, we stacked our row with 5 extra people in the lower bowl

In all honesty, the video doesn’t really do the sound justice. You just have to be present to really feel it. It’s hard to get the feel over video and TV. It’s the best and I will remember for the rest of my life what it felt like seeing TN bear Bama from Section Z11 in Neyland!

Big big Tennessee fan here. I'm embarrassed that we destroyed our goal post like that and then took it down and threw it in the river. We are better than that.
Just fyi not the first time this happened. The last time Peyton Manning was QB and the goalposts came down and went into the same spot in the river. It's not an embarrassment it was a reenactment of another moment of pure joy and I'm fairly certain the school knew it would happen. I figure the world is no worse off watching this many people come together and actually be happy.
