Hendon Hooker was absolutely clutch in final 15 seconds to set up the greatest field goal in Tennessee history. This was an all time great game, overall

The greatest field goal in Tennessee history was the kick to beat Syracuse in '98 because it set up the momentum for their season.

As a Bama fan, not even mad, this was an absolutely amazing game to watch. Young vs. Hooker in an absolute shootout all the way until the end. Game of the year for sure.

Coming from a Bama fan most definitely this was game of the year both teams didn’t disappoint. Hooker and Bryce were absolutely amazing to watch and this was all around a great game. I strongly believe that this isn’t the last time we see the Vols. This has been reinstalled as a top rivalry for many more years to come. This game is an INSTANT CLASSIC! Tennessee really altered the college football landscape by knocking Bama out of the top 4 ranking and snapping their 15 game losing streak to them. This game was explosive and this 2022 matchup definitely will be talked about for years to come!

@@niss2142 the reason there were tons of penalties on Bama was 1) Their secondary could not cover UT’s receivers so had to play handsie trying to hold and interrupt their routes, 2)The crazy crowd noise levels forced a lot of false starts. Mistakes weren’t made as much as forced. It happens when playing one of if not the best offenses in college football in one of the loudest stadiums around.

Let's not forget about Bryce Young. I know you alot of these guys wont give credit but Bryce was the best player on the field Saturday. He orchestrated that come-back and had all the tools to win the game, no great receivers, and just like in the GA game last year he was HITTING them boys in stride with perfect passes and they WERE DROPPING them. LSU fan here but wow! Crazy game! Unbelievable. Both teams are freaking awesome. That was amazing to watch! Some of the best passes being caught so consistently I’ve ever seen. Both teams should be proud.

As a bama fan, nothing but respect for Tennessee and their program. What a game! No excuses both teams had opportunities to win the game, Tennessee made the plays when they had to in the end. Certainly a heartbreaking loss, but also happy for Tennessee and their fans. Such a big win for them, I’m sure their fans will enjoy it. This is what the rivalry is all about. I hope we get to see you guys again!

I’m a buckeye fan too but i moved from ohio years ago to knoxville. Super proud of tennessee and that was a night to remember downtown. Only ohio SEC game i watch is michigan and we’ll see how they end up this year.

I wouldn't say that. Vols have a SR at QB and are probably filled with SRs in most positions. While Heupel was at UCF for the 3 years he had 2 double digit winning seasons before getting out of there because he knew the 4/5 stars were not coming there. The big question is, can he recruit for a SEC doormat like TN to compete against the Dawgs. Looking at the remaining schedule, they could end up losing 2 or 3 games. If that happens everyone will forget this game and Heupel will be looking for a new job.

Bama picked off the pass, game over, but wait what, the referees have a ten minute meeting to try to figure a way to rape Bama, and they did. Those same refs were helping the fans tear down the goalposts. This will go down as one of the top games in history. I live in Tennessee. 2hrs south of Knoxville, and it hit my town like a "tone of bricks" when the Vols won! Streetlights, painted sidewalks/curbs, local shops selling Vols memorabilia, all my local Buffalo Wild Wings, Apple Bee's. It was Christmas for about 2 weeks!!!

Michigan and Tennessee were two of the programs me and a friend always talk about that College Football needed back in relevance. It’s just good for the game financially and for us as fans. Michigan, USC, Texas, Tenn, and at least one of the major Florida programs are big teams who have been down for too long
Illinois fan here. Michigan is scary good this year. I don’t think PSU was ever a real top 10 team, but they still shouldn’t have been beat so thoroughly by anyone. Michigan is nasty in the trenches and the defense is criminally under rated. Hoping for a good showing on November 19

Young has everything beside velocity on the ball, when it travels it looks like half the speed then what you see NFL QBs throwing at, I mean just compare it to a 45 year old Brady, the camera man can barely follow it.

Holy hell !!! Tennessee just keeps rolling ! What a truly amazing team. I'm so very happy ! I was freakin' during this game. I just can't express enough how completely blown away I am by the "never quit" attitude of these Tennessee Volunteers !! Even the Tennessee fans have been really awesome to me. A lifelong Pitt Panther fan ! First I gave them props after beating my boys a few weeks ago. Then I was pumped they beat Florida. But geez. It doesn't get any better than this !! I'm so happy for you guys. Also. Thanks to the totally classy Vol's fans that have welcomed me to join your fan base ! I don't get it. Just about everyone is calling this game great. WTF, there was over 100 pts scored, both teams have almost 600yds of total offence, Tide committed 17 penalties for over 100 yds. This game by all measures was lousy. This is football not basketball people. TN possessed the ball for less than 25 minute and scored 52 pts. That alone should get Nick Saban fired. I thought I was watching a B12 game.

Hey man I am a die hard TN fan and it has been a tough few yrs. It is so refreshing to finally have a really good team. Alabama is consistently amazing and i feel sorry for who they play next lol. Saban is a hell of a coach and has done amazing things with ur team. To be honest I didn t think we d win and I have to admit it feels so good. I didnt realize how good Bryce Young was until this game. Dude made so many great throws, many on the run or after escaping a sack. You knew he was going to find a receiver when he had to. Can't believe Tennessee overcame that fumble TD at the end
