May 11th, 2024, my wife and I have been in Rio for the last week. Super nice people, tremendous city, tropical, colonial and modern. We love it and plan on coming back. I can't say enough how nice the people have been to us.
Aaah, that sounds just like how I feel ❤️🇧🇷
I am in love with Brazil, pristine beaches, warm friendly people, evergreen jungles, beautiful women of all shades and I have not even been there. Awesome Content from a tourism perspective.
Wooah, just wait until you acctually get there!
Wow! You’ve been busy! Looks amazing! 😎🍹
Haha busy is my middle name! Caipirinha on me 😅
Loved the video man, definitely opened my eyes to a few places other than Rio. I think Ilha Grande could be a nice option after carnival next year.
Man, we HAVE to finish off carnival with Ilha Grande! Absolutely love that place … and it will be boiling will people coming straight from the blocos there 🕺
Another great video!
Thank you so much Tim! Took some time to get it all in there 🙏
Another great video! Could easily be divided in two parts hehe I'm amazed by your drone footage again, some of the best I've seen from Brazil. Keep up the good job!
I know right! I always jam too much into my videos 😅
Bro , thank you for the great video. I really wanna visit or relocate to Brasil 🎉 Cheers mate !
Thank you so much Aidos! I’m happy to bring some Saturday vibes ☀️
Very nice man! Brazil is on my bucket list of places!
Thank you buddy! Brazil should be on everyone’s list ☀️
6:48 Gingo getting in shape man! Good Job!
Thanks man! It comes and goes 💪😅
❤❤❤❤❤
Back to paradise! 🍹😎
You know it brother! ☀️🇧🇷
Wow, on my next trip Im gonna check out Florinapolis for sure. Thanks for good video gringo!
Pleasure was all mine my friend!
Great to see you fully back on your feet after the "incident" in Rio. As you once said.they´ll NEVER get your caipirinha!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha thanks man! Celebrated the one year anniversary the other day 😅🔫
@@SwedishGringo one year already ! that's maybe why it came back as a recommendation video ? I remember that incident and left you a message too
@@kirole7381: Aaah yes! Social media are fond of anniversaries😅 Thanks for the support!❤️🇧🇷
I get it people are always saying Brazil especially Rio is dangerous but every city has its ghetto side. Technically if you look at statistics Baltimore Maryland here in the US is WAY more dangerous than Rio
Very true. It’s all about staying away from where the trouble is
Yep I'm from Orlando, FL and it's not all Mickey Mouse safe here. For the most part it is but you better know where not to go especially at night.
Brasil is like any other major city with its crime. But people wanna over exaggerate and it got a bad rap. Even though if you just pay attention and don’t act like an idiot you’ll be fine
Stay out the black areas and you'll be fine😂 this applies to most countries
Memphis has entered...
All of Memphis is a shithole and dangerous.
You make me want to move to Brazil !!
As a brazilian, I say that Brazil is great for spending a few days. But it's still not very nice to live in.
@@enginner-ti7lu Why do you not think it's very nice to live? Can you tell me?
@@enginner-ti7luwhy?i waa thinking of moving too
@@jamesscott1935 Brazil is good and bad at the same time, it's no wonder that we are one of the most unequal countries in the world. All this social and economic inequality contributes to high crime rates in the country. In addition to the lack of security, one of the biggest problems is the average monthly income and purchasing power. The monthly minimum wage in Brazil in 2024 is approximately R$1,412 (about 270 US dollars), taking into account the price of housing, food and transportation, this means that the average brazilian works to survive.
@@jamesscott1935 Brazil is huge, but the economy and population are unevenly distributed between North and South. The south is where there are more people, also where there is a better quality of life, more accessible beaches and national parks, better parties, lots of beautiful people and better cities, like Florianópolis, Búzios, Rio... Not only beaches, the south is also full of beautiful picturesque cities and full of nature around such as Gramado, Nova Petrópolis, Treze Tilias, Castrolanda and the Aparados da Serra national park.
Fantastic guide. Paraty is a super sized St Augustine (for those US travelers here). I have also visited Ilha Grande and Buzios which are super nice. The only downside is that water is super cold (at least for me, being a Floridian) and we generally stay on the beach or boat.
Hehe, you obviosly belong in the northeast my friend. Water there is luke warm ☀️🏝️
If you like warm waters, go to the beaches in the northeast, especially on the stretch called "Costa do Coral" (Coral Coast), which starts in Maceió and goes to Porto de Galinhas, highlighting the main tourist attractions: São Miguel dos Milagres, Maragogi and Porto de Galinhas (visit their natural pools). It's a relatively safe region. The best time to visit this region is from October to January (the period with less rain). I consider this region to be the Brazilian Caribbean, as it has crystal clear waters in shades of blue or green and has warm waters.
My brother that drink you keep mentioning has me wondering if i were to try it for the 1st time will it keep me from returning back to the states since it seems you're really addicted to it.🍸 😂
Haha yes, your first caipirinha will be your downfall 😅🍹
Life is nice😃
And we only have one! ❤️
If you get easily annoyed by mosquitos then Ilhabela its a place you cannot even consider and João Pessoa is actually one of the most dangerous cities in Brazil, unfortunately.
Yeah, mosquitos are a real hassle! Crime in JP follow the same logic as in Natal - it’s unrelated to the tourism and nothing you will experience unless you go looking for it
Liked the video of Recife. Im going to Recife in july. I need playa
Oh yes, so many good memories from Recife! ❤️🇧🇷
Hey Gringo, do you have a separate video just about João Pessoa? Thank you !
What’s up buddy! The material is still on my hard drive, but I’ll try to get the guide done as soon as possible 👍
@@SwedishGringo Thank you !!
Gringo yours videos are the best... in Brazil there aren't videos like yours. Please Updated a vídeo about Jericoacoara.
Aw thank you Julio! New video from Jeri is acctually coming soon!

As I would love to move to Floripa, my Brazilian girl said, if Floripa, then she wants a house in Campeche. :D She also gave me a prospect of Sao Sebastiao. Looks really nice. :)
Haha, of cours she wants a house in Campeche 😅🏝️

It's sad to come to Brazil and reproach bars and clubs for only playing local music. Brazilian music is part of the charm of this country, and the music here, especially Forró, is fantastic, full of energy and sensuality. Thank goodness techno music is rare in Natal.
You are very right, it should be just the way it is. Can’t do much about my own music taste though
I am from sao paulo capital but one of my favorites beach is são miguel do gostoso at Rio grande do norte
Oh yes, I’ve heard good things about it!
U swedish gringo only like beaches??? brazil is way more than that..In fact if you research half of the population never saw the ocean. We ve got hills, waterfalls colonial cities unesco world heritage sites, national parks canyons deserts jungle a lot of biomas.swamplands, caves, hot springs parks, rivers with clear crystal waters with beaches lagoons with turquoise waters, all inland.Plus cities like brasilia goiania cuiaba curitiba foz fo iguacu canela gramado ouro preto macapa rio branco monte verde campos do jordao petropolis etc..
@@gersonmatos1251: I know, Brazil is huge and full of opportunity. But I personally come from a cold country without beaches
Don't you ever get hangovers from all those Caipirinhas you drink ? 😂
Haha surprisingly seldom!

Have you been able to renew your Digital Nomad Visa for more than 2 years? I heard the max. is 2 years but I heard some rumors that it can keep being renewed even beyond 2 years (indefinitely).

Fernando de Noronha Island is probably the safest and one of the most beautiful places in Brazil.
Yes, it’s awesome!
You have clearly not travelled brazil very much if these are your tips. How about Bonito, Chapada dos Veadeiros, Chapada Diamantina, Tiradentes and the Estrada Real, Porto Seguro?
I’ve visited 13 different states and pretty much every major beach destination. I’m sorry your favorites weren’t on my list

I always tell tourists ya can judge a joint by the size of its police station and court buildings. My place has multistoreys,,,business is boomin

I stand by your words completely. Not saying that Rio doesn’t have some huge problems, but for many locals limit their lives much more than they need to
This is not a place for newbies.
Well, you can always start at the easy places and work yourself towards Rio
