You cant assume theyre all weak either, it really is just a preference, personality difference, and how people grew up. Lets face it. Most new yorkers wont be able to live as a farmer in the midwest either. Because they arent used to it. They arent used to the work or the lack of stimulants. Technically you could be weak for not being able to handle quiet, patience, or boredom too. Monk life might not appear arduous but Im not strong enough for that either. Oh and all the people claiming that new york isnso bad, that that's reason so many people are leaving for other states...
Yeah, it's cuase theychate liivng in new york so they're leaving tocgo to backwards rurql bumfuck nowheres where the hills have eyes and contmainated genomes
To live in one bedroom mud huts for 900k dollars
Where half the local utilities are no better than a barely functioning trailer park.
I want Brennan in every CollegeHumor video!! Man, he's the best! I want to see the outtakes of Brennan shouting and whispering into Ally's ear 🤣
Ramya P my last name is Brennan :)
Fact: Brennan was able to briefly convert Ally into a straight women by talking into her ear.
@@RebornLegacy maybe Grant taught him that. KnowWhatImSaying?
Rayma P Kinky
Totally agree
*nobody gets to insult New York except for New Yorkers*
true
yeah that totally makes sense 😂👍🏼
Ceniloar i agree
New York City is a disease and crime ridden cesspit, that needs to be firebombed. See, I just insulted your little city. Lol. Get rekt m8!!
Arminius of Germania lol who says git rekt m8 anymore?
BRENNAN SAVED THIS CHANNEL!
About god damn time too. Ever since the old cast quit, this channel/site has been dying.
Agreed, along with Ally and Rafael
I mean yeah
Crim truly
I agree
3:30 Ally’s oscar worthy moment
“I’m a little scared cause I saw a little rat lay a little egg in a little vagrant’s open wound” 🤣🤣
And this was the moment when the "The Unsleeping City" idea begin.
Please
No
btw rats are mammals, they don't lay eggs
@@fireplace2330 can imagine that the rats from The Nutcracker, working in a different way!
Brennan is gonna hit it big in the next 5 years, mark my words
Hope so
If he wanted to return to NYC, I imagine SNL could use him
I was thinking the same thing 10-15 minutes ago, I shit you not. I want to see him on the big screen.
What is the car in your profile picture
I wanna invest
Why does Brennan remind me of the villain from the Incredibles?
IncrediBrennan!
He is a ginger ninger
Hahaha. Oh my God, he does!!
Syndrome!
Because hes ginger?
As someone who partially grew up in Cincinnati, I cannot fathom someone being that cheerful about being from there.
2:16 As a Long Islander, I’m offended
..But yeah, that’s pretty accurate
Bridge and Tunnel- he should have mentioned NJ too.
Same
Long Island and NJ are something on a whole different category. Now I live in Queens but it's boring as shit in most areas of Queens
Same
same
Ally's face of torment as Brennan describes Santacon is priceless.
Brennon always plays the guy who has to defend generally made fun of things
hes good at it
@@crispy7335 ikr
Brennan is my favorite CH staffer 😅😂
I was going to post that, but figured I’d find somebody else already said it...second comment in and yup. Couldn’t agree more.
This is really messed up
Brennan doesn't deserve this treatment. You tell those SJWs Brennan hahaha! Please Brennan go to WeTheInternet they make real comedy!
joel cleare I started watching college humor because of his first appearance
Brennan looks like Elon musk
Wheres mike
I love the whole CH Cast, but I swear Brennan is on a whole new level, he is so good!
This sketch genuinely shows how incredible Brennan's range is as an actor. He deserves to be in movies.
“STAY HOME AND IT’LL BE LESS CROWDED”....... Veeeeeery different context in 2020.
I mean I feel for all the businesses that rely on tourism but there was a certain serenity and beauty of empty New York during the lockdown. Also the Sky has never been so blue
Evo's Basics I live in Charlotte, which I know is vastly different from New York, but I felt the same way. There was a tranquil quality to seeing an environment that is normally chaotic empty like a clean slate.
It HAS been less crowded 😭😭😭 I feel guilty to say it because of the reason why but I can’t lie it’s been nice.
OMG THE LITTLE DANCE “several museums?! Ooooh several museums!!!” I’m weak 😂
The way Americans talk about new York is how the rest of he world talks about America
Oh damn
It's sad because it's true
That's because the rest of the world thinks New York is America.
True
Except New York doesn't really poke it's nose in the internal affairs of other parts of America and kill them for oil.
"I've stepped in puddles so deep, and so cold, that I was barely the same person when I finally stepped out." That was some Cthulhu level Lovecraftian horror shit man. I was barely the same person after hearing it. :-)
It's even weirder if you live in rural NY state, because you can never really convince anyone that it's actually rural. They hear "New York" and assume that your shack in Appalachia must be something like Brooklyn.
This is too real shoutout to all my upstate homies
Trueeeee
I live in Brooklyn and no shit even happens over here either 😒
High five man! I have a habit of making people imagine me as a city kid despite how horribly rural my hometown is.
Yeah I'm not from USA and I wasn't aware NY had rural areas, I knew they had like suburbs but not many. To be honest most of my knowledge about NY is from Friends haha
Respect to Brennan for using the word Block instead of street.
What an achievement that must be huh
Deadass
Stormtrooper 2323 it speaks to the authenticity of the character as presented. For example where as in most other areas within large cities it might be said that something is down the street in New York everything is down the block.
@@NotThatGuy_YepThatGuy i mean what respect hes from new york already i wouldn't give two shits if someone from LA said street it just says a lot of new yorkers and their egos im from LA but Chicago tbh has better pizza
Stormtrooper 2323 everyone is always debating over New York pizza or Chicago pizza but they always forget that St. Louis has their own pizza :(
"Im scared because I saw a little rat lay a little egg into some vagrants open knife wound" IM DYING!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Sounds about right, New York is basically the testing ground for modern civilization. Nothing quite makes you question everything you thought was beautiful about nature until you watch a seagull swallow a rat whole
"What about the one-horse rust-bucket piece-of-shit you crawled out of? They got covered wagons there yet?"
Never seen a man be destroyed in so few words
Oh my goodness 😂
Hey. we’ve had horse covered wagons for 30 years now
As a proud former New Yorker that had to move to Omaha Nebraska, all I can say to my fellow New Yorkers is
Enjoy the public transit while you can.😡
h
Nebraska? More like Ne-trash-ska.. amirite? Lmao NYC! East coast til I die!
I've been in the us for 3 years and the only time I've used public transport was when i visited NYC. Tho when I go to china(cause I'm chinese) my parents and me fucking use that shit all the time. I've used more buses while in china in 1 day than I've ever done in the US
@@ryudelafuego3051 no shit! Even if the doctor/dentist wait time is shorter I'd still choose New York over Nebraska any day
You could go back. As a native Pennsylvanian, we would be ecstatic if New Yorkers left PA to go back. It's funny, nyc folks leave to get away and instantly try to turn their new location into nyc by attempting to implement the same policymaking ideals, as I'd they've forgotten why they left in the first place.
In all seriousness, NYC sucks, but I'll take any East Coast city over San Francisco. One weekend was enough of that, no thank you.
Whenever I watch a Brennan skit I have to carefully time my sips of water so as not to choke.
I see Brennan in thumbnail, I click
What a simple man
100% true
You know what? Same. Honestly I didn't even want to watch this video but I kept seeing Brennan's face so I caved.
Simple as that
Hiring him is the best thing CH has done in YEARS
Brennan canonically wrote this skit as an excuse to get to rant angrily about New York so millions of viewers would have to listen to him 😂😂😂
I lived in NYC for 4 years. I can confirm it’s a hologram. Keep asking questions
Lol, jet fuel can't melt holographic steel beams.
excuse me XD
Rofl
The next hard hitting question is if you had acid for those 4yrs
Our Founding Liars Are you a hologram?
"One time, I even stepped out into SantaCon. And I loved every second of it."
*[The Unsleeping City flashbacks]*
What’s that
@@gamertrask9153 Collegehumor has a sub-channel called Dimension 20 where the cast plays roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons. The Unsleeping City is the name of a D&D campaign which Brennan runs which takes place in New York, and the first episode is about SantaCon.
Oh Pete....he never saw it coming
Some guy I know went there once,he saw a drug dealer,a fireman, Misty Moore,a doctor,a hair stylist, and a ratman beat up those santa people.
Wait, SantaCon is a real thing? I thought they made that up for Dimension20.
3:04 I like how it kinda looks like Ally can't stop smiling. It's like that jump wasn't really planned but had to go with it and was trying not to break character
“New Yorkers never smile”
“That’s because you’re there”
Biggest roast of the year 🤣
This makes me want to watch “The Unsleeping City” every single time.
Brennan is no lie the best actor CH has had in all its time
Josh Ruben was pretty good
Better than Streeter?
Josh is also very good
I like Katie but that's just me
Trap is great, but Brennan is awesome
Brennan is AMAZING at acting deranged I love it. This and 'Lying to have something in common' - he's awesome in it
“There was a trash on the floor!”
*gasp* “a WHOLE trash?!”
“A whole trash.”
haha wow, you also watched the video?
Crazy.
Quoting a favourite bit so others can share their enjoyment of and thoughts on the said bit is a RUclips tradition, so it's funny to see the one person who doesn't get that ironically call the OP stupid.
"I've got museums on my block, like you've got cracker barrels on your interstate"
*Hahahaha*
3:05 Did he just Gollum squat onto that table?
Yes.
I would've called it a gargoyle but point taken.
Golem? Do you mean Gollum? Those are two very different things...
Golem, gargoyle, gollum, gnelf, gnoblin, gnome, they’re gnot all the same thing!
Just Seff Stuff
You forgot gwarves
You gacist gastard
its so nice of brennan to single handedly carry colleghumor on his back
3:16 Brennan! AAAHH! This moment made me want to go on a 4-hour D&D campaign/world-building spree about a man who steps into a deep, cold puddle and emerges changed forever. That VOICE, man. KILLER delivery.
It’s even more impressive because I’ve experienced that very phenomenon, and he captures it _perfectly_
It was bloody brilliant.
Such a talented actor!
Basically Dimension 20: The Unsleeping City lmao
Dont rest your head
You would enjoy the unsleeping city
This is a straight fact. If you can't enjoy New York you're not strong enough to love it
I do think Im too weak to live there but I think youre oversimplifying it. People have different preferences. Some people just like quiet with lots of air. Some people like houses with big backyards. At the same time I can appreciate it. Now Im rambling but I just dont like the "look at me Im so tough that everyone else is weak" mentality youre promoting. You can be tough in some ways and weak in others.
Agreed
I feel the same way about London dude. It’s like the New York of the UK.
Or rich. Rich people can enjoy the city without any of the bad stuff
@@sanderflop yeah, NYC is a great place to live if you are young and single, or Rich. Very hard to raise a family on an average wage.
A WHOLE TRASH?!?!?!?

This sketch is FANTASTIC!!! CH keeps coming up more and more ways to show us how great and crazy Brennan is and how we didn't deserve him but God gave him to us anyway!
Man Brennan just simply steals any scene he's in
This may be his magnum opus.
messaoud rahmani he really does
Well in a scene where he has 95% of the dialogue it's kinda hard not to.

As a fellow New Yorker, I’m applauding for Brennan. We reserve the right to mock New York by living there, it can be a dumpster, but it’s our dumpster, we don’t want anyone else trashing it.
