I love that the first one is a comedy with a nice little story arc to make it a memorable, heartfelt film, while the second just goes all-in on the silly premise to make a terrific comedy. Makes them both stand out as unique and memorable.
The third is just sad, and tarnished by every appearance of a very clearly sickly Robin Williams struggling to remember his lines and being a tragic shadow of the man we all knew and loved. It's not a great film to begin with, but it's completely darkened by the sadness of Robin Williams' passing.

Night at the Museum 2 is the best one out of the trilogy.

It's fun coming back to these movies as an adult historian, because now that I know who George Custer REALLY is I hate him so much more

Man, I love how this franchise isn't afraid to slow the plot down in order to fully explore these ridiculous and comedic situations.

When I first saw this movie, I knew a lot of the cast like Amy Adams, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Robin Williams but had no idea who Bill Hader was. He's seriously so entertaining!

I love history since I was a kid from watching my dad play CIV III and IV as well watching war films like The 300 Spartans (1962) with him. Night of the Museum is definitely one of my favorite movies, an awesome imagination come true in motion picture! I've always wanted to see historical figures interact with each other in the most hilarious ways possible! This movie is a childhood gem!

I loved the second movie as a kid. Now that I'm grown and have a (somewhat) full brain I realized just how totally unneeded the Amelia romance bit was. That kiss belonged to Jed and Octavius
I also love that you can CLEARLY see Jed's sword bend in the stabby shoes scene

When I first saw this movie I was so young I couldn’t remember any actors names so when I saw Ricky Gervais I just thought “this guy isn’t famous” but boy was I wrong. He was one of the biggest reasons we got the US office which I’ve been watching everyday since 2012

It's ironic how many stars were in this movie yet weren't that famous at the time. Even someone like Jonah Hill whos role is a cameo still didn't really break out yet.

Ben Stiller. Ricky Gervais. Amy Adams. Owen Wilson. Hank Azaria. Robin Williams. Bill Hader. Steve Koogan. Rami Malek. The Jonas Bros. Eugene Fucking Levy.
The 2010's were a fun decade.
