Sarah….I absolutely love your videos. I look forward seeing what you do next. Especially if it quilting (to inspire me), the cabin ( to show me the calm of off grid) or the foods you make (to feed my body and soul). Keep it up….I guarantee, I will be watching. Also…I love Luna!
I love corner stones, for the reasons you said and they are nice looking! Your videos are full of helpful information. Kitty just can't help you all the time :) Your scrappy pieced houses are like little cabins in the woods.
@@littlefootquiltshoppe1130 The other part is I have this romantic vision of living off grid. I doubt I ever will, but I have a treadle and a hand crank - just in case.
Wonderful video! Wish I could smell the clean air and trees.😍 Your blocks with the circles, geese and houses kind of remind me of your place. “Off grid” cabin in the mountains with clouds. 😊
Thanks for showing how to do the flying geese in such an easy way. I usually hate making them, but now I can make them with confidence. Love your off grid videos. Thanks a bunch
So glad your channel popped up❤. Your tips are so helpful and love your happy quilts. I too love to make flying geese with those two rulers. Perhaps cute lil houses are in my future. 😂. All the best from South Carolina
You make me long for a little cabin of my own for a getaway, but i need modern amenities 😂! I've been sewing for many years, never made flying geese. Absolutely look forward to your videos. Thanks for sharing!
The house blocks are so cute! What a great idea. I usually made flying geese however the quilt pattern tells me lol. If FG are 2.5" or less I use foundation papers so I don't mess up points. BUT now I will use my Easy Angle and Companion Angle Rulers that are hanging on my pegboard. I've had them for years. Thanks so much for showing what I can do with them!
I recently discovered your channel and really love your low key style and useful tips! The crazy patch houses are so cute, great way to use small scraps!
I love the look of the staggered flying geese block between the CD blocks! Doesn't that block finish at 12.5 inches...joining 4 x 3.5 in. rows? Curious why you used 12.25 for the CD blocks and the sashing pieces. Whatever the measurements, your point about the corner stones in sashing makes so much sense for keeping the quilt square!
Will you be making any fall quilts or projects? I love your videos and look forward to each one. You calm me down. Thank you for all you do. Dona in Oregon…🧵🪡🤗🧵🎃
Thank you very much for sharing. I find it easier to include the sashing with cornerstone as part of the block itself . Obviously not all blocks will have similar sizes as it will depend on the overall size and the placement of each block.
Loving your videos. It's like I'm chatting with a friend while we sew. Watching from Dunedin, New Zealand
Thank you. House blocks are my current favorite.
Glad you like them!

I love your backdrop. The woods. So pretty. Love your instructions too. ❤
Thank you so much!
YES. The houses! So cute! Do it!😊
Yay! Thank you!
When Andy hears puttin on the ritz, he knows Sarah’s back. 😆 I’ll be sure to show him the man on the tractor. 😉

Wonderful! Thank you!
I did NOT know that the flat end of the Thang was a quarter inch.

Yes it SHOULD measure 12.5”!! Mine were just a bit smaller, probably due to my 1/4” seam allowance somewhere along the line!!

Thanks, Dona! Thanks for the suggestion!
Thank you so much. I will need to try this. I love the little houses. How long have you been quilting and how long did you have your store? God Bless.
Well I learned to quilt when I was a teenager, so I’d say 30 years! And I had my store for 11 years. Thanks for watching!
I love that you to used scraps and leftover flying geese to make the house border. I will have to try this idea. Love watching your videos.
Another enjoyable and informative video. Thank you.
Another fun video in beautiful surroundings! Love the kitty Great tips for flying geese, and your quilt is adorable. Thank you thank you thank you!
Thanks for the info &!inspiration. I find flying geese really challenging, my seams end up really hit or miss.
Love your channel!
