- Aaron from Church Solutions Group demos a Yamaha LS9-16 digital mixer for us at Christ Community Church of Plainfield. This is part 2, which covers the home view, more EQ features, storing/copying settings, and monitor layers.
in a drummers wedge he shouldnt need his kick/snare/toms/OHs in his mix as it will already be loud enough for him,...not in such a small venue, this also helps get rid on monitor feedback, if all wedges are HPF at around 130hz this just gets the vocal range.
all he will need is the singers vocals and possibly some bass guitar as the SPL on stage will be quite loud
If I want to save the settings on all channels, do I first make sure that all the select indicator lights are on then go thru the save settings procedures? Similarly, to individual channels, just need to have specific Select lights on? We rent an auditorium at a school and sometimes/often the board is zeroed out when we come in to do sound checks.
Anoother thought, would I need to save settings by layers (1, 2, master, custom) or do all layers for Selected channels get saved?
thanks
can you explain me how to store it,suppose i have six mics connected , i adjusted the volume with certail level, that i need to store with on user key botton. and how do i protect it.
ahh ok, that makes way more sense to me!
@suby, I have a similar question. Is it possible to save/store all the changes to a channel as 1 scene? Or do you have to save eq and other settings as seperate files?
I have a 7 member choir and would like to save individual scenes for every member.
this desk has to be pushed, Drive the ehadamp as much as possible, get it to just under clipping, you would not believe the headroom this desk has
